I absolutely love this place. Everyone there is knowledgeable about the products they sell. And their customer service is top-notch. I go there two to three times a week for juices, smoothies, and wheat grass. I purchase all of my supplements from here. I even get there grand. It's vegan-friendly, although I'm not a vegan.

Google
What a wonderful find! Great variety of food and natural solutions! I was surprised by how big this store actually is! It’s filled with so much great stuff and friendly helpful staff! That wellness shot is amazing! I feel it working almost immediately! The cooked foods are fantastic especially the soup. I’m so glad I found this store as an alternative to large corporate stores! You won’t be disappointed when you visit!

I was disappointed with the service at the hot bar on June 17, 2025, at approximately 6:33 PM. Although three employees were present, I waited for assistance without being acknowledged. One employee, who had previously assisted me in the juice bar, was stationed in the hot bar area and saw me but did not approach or offer assistance; instead, she walked away. I felt she may have been hesitant to help me due to a previous interaction. The other employees appeared occupied. After requesting service, an employee who was cleaning assisted me, but by then I was quite unhappy and chose to leave. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and have usually received good service, but on this occasion, the staff seemed inattentive.

This Market is a Little gem. Just randomly came across it .. and I’m delighted i did. It’s neatly organized and nice clean environment. .the best part about the place is the warm “energy” of everyone who works here.. thank you !

Google
My happy place!! "5/5 stars! Rainbow Acres is a true gem in the community. The variety of fresh and organic products is impressive, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the selection of local and artisanal products, and the quality of the fresh produce is exceptional. However, I do want to mention that the prices in this section can be a bit steep. That being said, I believe the quality and freshness of the products justify the cost. Plus, the welcoming atmosphere and passion for healthy eating that you feel at Rainbow Acres make it well worth a visit. Overall, Rainbow Acres is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for fresh and healthy products. Highly recommended!"

Google
one of the best grocery stores i have ever been to! great selection, friendly staff, and short checkout lines. their prices are cheap too, at least when compared to the organic/health store that i work at. its also nice to see a fully-staffed store; big-brand grocery stores always seem to be operating with a skeleton staff and it makes it hard to shop sometimes. everytime i need help here, i am able to find someone right away 👍

Google
Love this place. Staff is friendly. Quite tight in there, but it’s like a fun maze. They have raw milk, fresh sea moss gel selection, good amount of eggs, and other tasty health conscious snacks. 🥰

Google
My favorite local health food store and the only one near me… I only go when I get my ebt because they accept ebt, but things get a little pricey for me otherwise. It’s worth it to me knowing in supporting small business and ethical brands and foods! Plus they have a wide variety of everything, even home goods and clothing! I highly recommend, everyone is also very nice. However, be careful with the parking situation, parking lot is small, but there’s parking on the sides of the street too.

Laura D.

Yelp
Love this store. They have fair prices, friendly staff and an excellent selection of healthy snacks, food and toiletries. I appreciate their loyalty program and love all the sales they always have on my favorite products.

Lucille T.

Yelp
Delicious smoothies and amazing food made in house. I can go on and on about everything i love about rainbow acres, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about what they're selling.

Kristen H.

Yelp
I have a hard time seeing anyone give this place a low rating. I don't believe it's a chain but they have comparable prices to big box natural grocers. They have their own deli and bakery too. Friendly service and I like local spots as do most people. Decent parking. Wish they had more non vegetarian options than vegetarian but for some reason people associate GMO processed vegan food with natural still. Oh well. Gotta make money and give the people what they want I guess.

Siobhan D.

Yelp
An absolute delight! I had an appointment down the street and the inviting exterior of Rainbow Acres caught my attention as I drove past, so I stopped in afterwards. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Shop is well organized and tidy. Astonishing array of products in so many categories. I bought about $60 worth and could have easily spent much more. Very cool and unique grocery store. I can't wait to return.

J J.

Yelp
This store is heavenly for healthy folks. I love their loose leaf herbs and their cafe area with delicious grab & gos. Everything a vegan needs is at this grocery store.

Norbert K.

Yelp
Rainbow Acres is a very nice health food store on the Westside of Los Angeles near Venice and Marina del Rey. We dont shop here often, but our visits are usually targeted looking for a specific food or supplement. They carry a range of products that fit just about any diet requirement -- e.g., gluten free, vegan, keto, paleo, and more. Service is always helpful. The store itself is an entire strip center wrapped around a small parking lot. There's also a parking lot in the rear. The shelves are well stocked; the aisles are narrow.

Sonia S.

Yelp
What a fun little place this is food to go all kinds of great vitamins helpful staff probably the best sourdough I have ever tasted on my way out so I had to grab a loaf just not near me so I don't get to go as often as I would like to, but I did drive an hour and 20 minutes there

S F.

Yelp
The selection in this store is insane. Everything from food, household, deli, cosmetics, health and wellness, pet needs. All the brands are well-sourced, much of it organic and small business-provided. Go in and stroll around - it's total fun to check it all out.

Yana's P.

Yelp
It's a market that is geared toward health. I love Rainbow Acres for carrying items that are sometimes hard to find even online. The deli area has great fresh breakfast items, as well lunch and dinner. It can be pricey but often times worth it.

Missy H.

Yelp
Wonderful health food store. Service has always been great. Vitamins, teas, spices, gifts. They have a cute hot deli with many choices, hidden off to the side. Nice prices, especially for this type of store. Family owned- helpful & knowledgeable staff.

Alex K.

Yelp
I shop in this store regularly out of convenience and despite their prices. The prices are higher than anywhere else including Whole Foods. It is a free country, and they can charge whatever they want, but they should not call it a "Sale." If you look at their price tags, everything is always on sale, when in reality, the prices only go up. This practice is actually illegal, and is called false advertisement. I hope someone will sue them. The customer service is okay. The workers are generally nice and helpful except for the tall weird dude with earrings. I saw other reviews complaining about him, and I get why. In my experience, he never says 'hi', he looks away from you, or through you, like you don't exist. However, according to my wife, when she shops there, he is very chatty.

Yelp
Last year (23) made a matching donation for the benefit of the Maui Fire relief fund. I've never seen anything posted on where our donated funds went ? What organization were these donated funds donated to? Please post and let us know The owner of Rainbow Acres Natural Foods reached out to me via email & explained that all the funds collected were donated to the People of Maui directly by Rainbow Acres Natural Foods through 8 Rotary Clubs on Maui. All Good.

Kimber B.

Yelp
Literally the BEST smoothie I've ever had! The price is unmatched too!! It was so good I had to write a review! 20/10

Lilly B.

Yelp
Cool place. Worth checking out. Great products that are not at other stores. Very healthy options

Nancy R.

Yelp
If you're looking for holistic supplements, shampoos, body cream, cosmetics made with natural ingredients, you'll find these at Rainbow Acres. In addition to the above, I find my favorite organic coffee at Rainbow Acres - Jaguar Forest! I also buy freshly-ground peanut and almond butter there, along with some fresh and tasty fruit and veggies. The staff is so friendly and genuinely helpful, too. In sum, all the healthy products you need for your body and health are available at Rainbow Acres. And- same goes for your pet dog or cat!

Anjana M.

Yelp
I love this store so much! It always have so many options for amazing food. Every time I go I try a new poppi flavor I didn't even knew existed! They have awesome stuff like Tru Fru ice cream which I didn't even knew existed! But the best part is everything is always fully stocked! The workers are very helpful and give great suggestions on what snacks or drinks to get!

Angel M.

Yelp
I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the vegan dr bronners golden milk chocolates but I could not find it!!! Every store would have all th flavors except the one I wanted but I finally found it here at rainbow acres because they are amazing!!! It's a beautiful store and I found so many exciting food products. The workers are very pleasant and prices are very reasonable compared to other natural grocers. I went to erewhon afterwards and saw that some of the same canned drinks cost almost 2$ more each over there...

Amy M.

Yelp
I'm unsure about some of the Rainbow Acre-bagged items. Got a bag of Joyva candies and the servings say About 22. Counted what was in the bag and it's 20 servings. 2 of the candies had no wrapper and another had a loose wrapper. I don't think I'd get this again.

Keyonda A.

Yelp
This location has my full respect. It has everything!!! Literally! It's the best health food store you could come across. My only thumbs down would be the parking. It's limited and very cluttered. Other than that this location owns it!!! The customer service is extremely awesome. A team member by the name of Tony (wasn't sure if he was a custodian or not, because he was in the middle of cleaning up) stopped what he was doing to help my husband locate a package of tea bags that he started to like. Hubby originally purchased it off of Amazon but wanted to give this location a visit to see if they carried it. My husband was expecting to just be pointed in the right direction but the team members at this store go above and beyond in their service to help you find what you are looking for. Tony walked him to the area where tea is sold and even took the time to explain to another team member from that area what it was that my hubby was looking for. I admired his customer service. I love this store. The atmosphere is so chill and motivates you to care for your health.

Yelp
I shop at Whole Foods and Rainbow Market and I find the prices at Rainbow are compatible if not better than Whole Foods. And when they have items on sale Whole Foods doesn't come close. Their food service bar is also better with a large assortment of items. They also have six different soups each day. I've tried several, the black bean is one of my favorites. Today I got the lemon asparagus which was really good. All in all they are top notch for an independent market.

Jinyen C.

Yelp
We just relocated here from New Jersey/New York and we are so excited to find our health food store to shop at! This place is pretty big for a family owned and operated store! Yay! The offer so many different brands of items - for all of your household, personal care, beauty and pet items. The place is very well organized, staff is always so helpful to answer questions and the prices are reasonable! Best of all - there is a wonderful prepared food section, dessert section, wine selection and hot food/sandwiches and smoothie/juice section WOW!!! We fell in love so quickly and you will too!

Chris C.

Yelp
I live walking distance to this place but I do the bulk of my grocery shopping at the Pavilions and Gelson's nearby. I infrequently shop at Rainbow Acres because they have a few items I like that aren't in the other stores. On my last visit (on June 5, 2024), I was buying two bags of fancy potato chips. I had a half-full reusable bag over my shoulder because I had just walked over from Pavilions where I bought some things. The lady at checkout asked me if I had any other unpaid for items in my bag. She was basically asking me if I was shop-lifting. I don't think I will shop there anymore. I would rather go to Erewhon on Venice Blvd and pay extra to not be accused of shop-lifting. The lady was a middle-aged Karen, and I wonder now if she would have asked me this if I were white...

Joan M.

Yelp
I've been shopping at Rainbow Acres for over 20 years. Best brown rice ever! Always have what I'm looking for. Big selection. Great smoothies. My only complaint is the parking is tough but that's the small price to pay.

Kelly L.

Yelp
I've been shopping here since 2013 and just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to interact with such helpful employees from Manager Fany, Bing, and Mauricio to name a few. Be sure to register your number to earn points on future purchases. So many options on healthy food, holistic, and personal care products.

Angelo R.

Yelp
The prices are a bit higher than expected. Workers are not as friendly as you might expect to be in such a new-age place.

Nick B.

Yelp
I found this place through raw milk dot com, and I'm glad I did. I yelped it first, then I decided to take a stroll to go buy some things. The selection they had was awesome. I could've spent more time in the store just looking at stuff, but I was on time constraints. I will be coming here regularly for sure. I ended up getting eggs, raw honey, raw milk, and raw butter. They definitely have quality here and the customer service is great. If you're in the area you should check this place out.

Carl H.

Yelp
I wish they would stop using seed oils(sunflower) in their foods from the hot bar and rainbow acres branded packaged food

Rivka B.

Yelp
Ordered today two sandwiches what a Disappointment!!!! Half of the ingredients weren't there and asked for toasted bread,... oh well never again, you pay and you don't receive.... Hopefully it was just today....

Stephanie V.

Yelp
This is an amazing gem! Great smoothies, juices, coffee, baked goods, prepared breakfast and lunch. Different menu items every day. So many gluten free and vegan options! They have the most amazing vegan and gluten free cheesecake slices, cookies, carrot cake, pecan bar, lemon bar, fruit tarts. They are all made fresh there and the prices are reasonable! A slice of a cake is $3-4!! A 20oz smoothie is $7!! They have frozen food, kombucha, all kinds of flours, sugar substitutes, wines, eggs, drinks on one side and on the other they have a whole natural supplement/pharmacy area. Very good prices on anything natural you are looking for. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, the place is clean and they always have specials. Love this place.

Jared S.

Yelp
I like this place. Mostly good vibe and decent prices on a few select items. But this morning, I must say the cashier was a total jerk. First, he was chatting with his friend for overlong while I waited and he generally had a foul attitude when it was finally my turn. At the end of the transaction I tried to give him pennies so I wouldn't have to take a bunch of pennies and he refused to do the simple math, claiming falsely that he couldn't do it because it would mess up his till. I have worked as a cashier and I know that it doesn't matter how many pennies are in your till, only that your till matches the receipt. This guy plainly didn't want to do the elementary math and copped a total trash attitude, saying, it's out of my hands bro, I don't make the rules. This guy clearly hates his job. If you hate your job so much, quit!

Vince C.

Yelp
No other place in LA gives you better juices than here! Let's face it..... No real Outlaw loves to eat Veggies. It's a code violation! But on the other side of 40, we absolutely need them. Rainbow Acres always comes through with freshly made juices for an affordable price! $7 for a 16oz cup of lifesaving veggies and fruits. Great to enjoy with a burger or chicken sammy to get your protein and greens/reds. AND WHAT AN AMAZING STAFF!!!!!!!!

Leslie K.

Yelp
Great gifts for your art lovers. Gems and crystals, paintings, cards and more. . the staff was very friendly and even stayed open while we were picking out a gift.

Muriel B.

Yelp
Nice place to pick up natural, and healthy items. They have snacks, dairy and essential items. They even have a deli section where you can order fresh made juices and hot/cold food items. I had their fresh juice but haven't tried the food yet. The service is good and the ambience is relaxed but can be busy and crowded at times. Overall I give a 8/10.

Mirjana V.

Yelp
Deceptively large grocery store with tons of options for all lifestyles/preferences/etc. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and my 14 "Carrot" smoothie was delicious! The variety is really incredible and they also make their own baked goods and stuff :) There's a small seating area next to Washington Blvd that isn't the roomiest, but has several tables to sit at, which I appreciated. Also, the bathroom was super clean and spacious.

Scott K.

Yelp
*Somewhere over the Rainbow* I really like the concept of Rainbow Acres (and their name) and have been coming here for over 30 years - when it was just a small local store - as a youngster with my mom who was very influential in my healthy eating habits & lifestyle during my childhood. Through the years, they've expanded throughout the entire corner strip mall occupying Rainbow Acres, and acquired more retail space along Washington Blvd. They have some hard to find vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free & dairy-free and nut-free & soy-free, low-sodium & sugar-free and whatever-free you're into that makes it worth checking out if you're into this type of stuff. And also worth a visit if you haven't been here before. Some of the produce, grocery and vitamin/supplement items are a bit pricey IMO...but they do have & offer some nice deals & discounts. They have a small hot & cold food area in their deli section with a salad bar, pre-made packaged cold meals & snacks...and a deli counter with hot food & soup options. But again, IMO, some of these are bit pricey. I do tho understand the items are mostly organic & locally sourced - which I love to support. And you get what you pay for. They have a great vitamin & supplement department that's really expanded through the years...and there's always helpful & knowledge people working to answer any questions or offer advice, suggestions and recommendations. Certain sections of the store are rather cramped (especially when they're busy) so some maneuvering will be necessary while shopping & wandering around. The team members at the cashier stands are usually friendly and greet customers and engage in pleasantries, and lines tend to move quickly when they're busy. There's a parking lot surrounding the entire front of the store and plenty of street parking too. All in all, it's a great local health food & grocery store, with an old-school feel, slightly stocked with all natural items, servicing the area & community. Every time I'm here it brings back fond memories...and it always leaves a rainbow bright spot in my heart.

Rachel M.

Yelp
I stop by Rainbow Acres every now and then if I'm in the area. I don't do a full grocery shop here since it's a small market. I mainly go here to pick up some pantry items. I like their variety of grains, legumes, and seeds. I like trying wheat flour alternatives, and there's also a good selection here. Some things I've bought regularly include millet, black lentils, steel cut oats, and coconut aminos. The prices are reasonable since the price point is similar to other grocery stores. The checkout line tends to move slowly.

Nadia M.

Yelp
Great products and service. Found what I needed here after not being able to find it anywhere!

Carol 4.

Yelp
Love this place, been going here since the 90's.Prepared food is the best ever, and staff always polite and helpful.Parking tight, but just wait on Tivoli and u will get a spot! Hope it remains as its been and never get sold to one of the big boys ,like Erewhon or Whole Foods!

Angela P.

Yelp
Great spot for healthy snacks and they have an organic juice/smoothie bar. You can make your own or order one off the menu. They also have a hot food bar and premade salads and such. I come here for the house made almond butter. It's my fav. Rainbow acres is a gem

Ryan L.

Yelp
Will go again / Groceries - Above average focused on healthy / Hot food - Above average / Price - Below average = Inexpensive / Cleanliness - Average Wow! What another "hole in the wall"...this store is like an independent Whole Foods. They focus on healthy and natural foods. The prices are quite reasonable, almost even lower than many large chains and competitors. This was my first time visiting but definitely not the last. For hot foods, I ordered the cream pasta which has tri color pasta and tofu with veggies mix. Both were very tasty and healthier than most dishes. Then, I bought some groceries: chie picante banana chips, popcorn kernels, burrata with truffles, and a small charcuterie. This place has it all and keeps you away from guessing if the items are healthy. Of course, there may be some unhealthier options but the majority seems healthy. To guarantee my return, I signed up for the rewards which is at no charge. The aisles are slightly narrow but given being independent, it is expected. For a place that has been there for so long, it looks slightly worn down but is relatively clean.

Cindy R.

Yelp
Love this place ! I recently found myself back in the area and was so happy to see they are still around. Excellent fresh juices .

Nancy M.

Yelp
Huge thanks for bringing Funsesames in this amazing, healthy dip! Saw it at my brother's, and now it's a must-buy at your store, thanks to those wholesome ingredients.

Lana A.

Yelp
I love going to Rainbow Acres, not for regular shopping but for specialty items or to look around. It's crowded with merchandise, and usually with people too. It's like a health food store from the 1970s as history has it, not like Whole Foods. The produce section is relatively small, but they have a huge assortment of most everything else. They have pre-packaged food to go and a counter where you can order juice, smoothies, etc. Parking is decent, they have a small lot. And there is a designated place to "park" your dog too, as well as outside tables where people sit as they enjoy their orders. I highly recommend this place.

Heidi L.

Yelp
I love this place, but recently I haven't had a pleasant time here. There's a specific cashier who literally needs to be fired or put in the back. He has a dark beard and earrings. He's so rude, and gives you the sloppiest attitude. The other day I came in for some groceries, and he never offered a bag (cashiers usually do), and once I paid for my things he made me reach over the desk just staring at me struggling. This man does not care to work here!! Oh, and I've seen the reviews and this isn't the only complaint about him. Rainbow acres has many lovely and nice employees but this guy is just the worst....

Scotty B.

Yelp
Great local market for all you need, hot bar ,sandwich station, smoothie bar, juice bar, ready deli, fresh produce, great snacks & desserts, beer & wine. Some items are pricey but they have great deals and best some of the big chains prices with high quality items. The owner runs a tight ship and might ask you a question or two of how you like a product. Great place , great peeps, super convenient. Keep it going Rainbow Acres!

Marie N.

Yelp
I love Rainbow Acres and have been shopping at Rainbow Acres in Culver City for decades and sends lots of people there. After I posted that Firetrucks have been GPS tracking me especially when I speak of our sacred movie at our non-profit, and since I Facebook posted harassment by another agency designed to help the community who is obviously angry with something I shared with a friend of mine and theirs, and what are they angry about? I was next in line, but the male White manager told Mustafa to take me and left the cash register at 8:45-8:58 PM or 9, February 16, 2024. While ringing up my items he began singing in front of my deacon and I a death song about a ranger (rangers are part of law enforcement with different duties) using a big iron on his hip (which is a gun.) Mustafa has never sung a song while ringing me up. I was only able to record some of what he was singing. It is a country western song and my Deacon who was with me is a western enthusiast whose father loved Marty Robbins music. It speaks of a ranger; rangers are part of law enforcement) killing dead an outlaw. About 14 days or so ago four of our senior citizens between 60, and the rest are in their 70's up to 78, including me was surprised in our church parking lot momentarily after we came out from service. I spoke about it in service and on Facebook about being GPS tracked and at once a Police cruiser rushed into the parking lot with white lights blaring for no reason and left while we were Facebook live. I reported it to a former political leader 2 days ago and Mustafa sings this song tonight. There are clues i.e., Southern Calif and other names and numbers/information in the song connected to my beloved murdered 48-year-old mom and living son that I will not share. So why would Mustafa sing that song? I have pasted the song below that he sang part of especially about the ranger killing the outlaw. To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip For the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip It was early in the morning when he rode into the town He came riding from the south side slowly lookin' all around He's an outlaw loose and running, came the whisper from each lip And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead He was vicious and a killer though a youth of 24 And the notches on his pistol numbered one and 19 more One and 19 more Now the stranger started talking, made it plain to folks around Was an Arizona ranger, wouldn't be too long in town He came here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead And he said it didn't matter he was after Texas Red After Texas Red Wasn't long before the story was relayed to Texas Red But the outlaw didn't worry men that tried before were dead 20 men had tried to take him, 20 men had made a slip 21 would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip The morning passed so quickly, it was time for them to meet It was 20 past 11 when they walked out in the street Folks were watching from the windows, everybody held their breath They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death About to meet his death There was 40 feet between them when they stopped to make their play And the swiftness of the ranger is still talked about today Texas Red had not cleared leather 'fore a bullet fairly ripped And the ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground Oh, he might have went on living but he made one fatal slip When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip Big iron, big iron When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip Big iron on his hip Pray for Mustafa...

Yelp
Great product selection. I wish they had more locations throughout the city so that I didn't have to drive across town but other than that great service and good products.

Amy A.

Yelp
For the past year I've been trying not to shop at big chain grocery stores. This is walking distance from me and I almost exclusively shop here, farmers markets, or ethnic grocers whenever I'm in town.

Elise L.

Yelp
I used to love this place so much because of their healthy but yummy items. I live in the valley but I would still make my way over here just to get their smoothies and salads. When COVID hit, they shut down their salad bar which was reasonable due to the circumstances. After the pandemic started to die down and all of the restrictions for businesses were taken away they still didn't open up their salad bar. It's just really disappointing to me and others who enjoyed the salad bar. Now I don't really have any reason to go there except for the smoothies and maybe their chips. Other than that it's not worth the drive. All I am saying is please consider opening up you salad bar again! It seems a lot of buffet like places such as soup plantation couldn't survive after COVID. It would be great to have another salad buffet that actually has good quality ingredients!
