Rainbow Factory

We came here because of the good reviews and had an ok meal. There were a few details I did not expect regarding the food (I don’t recall exactly what since it was some time ago), which make me give it 3 stars, despite the overall quality being great! Maybe we had bad luck but I would still recommend this place for a nice brunch

The staff were the best part about my experience. I came in on Saturday 15th November around lunchtime and the staff were super busy with a full house of customers, however they were smiley, helpful, and created a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The food presentation was highly thought about and looked tasty. However, I felt the eggs panagyuski was missing something, or maybe had too much yogurt? Overall, the whole experience was lovely and the brunch style food is a winner for many people in Sofia.

The place is well known in Sofia and I’ve been to their 2 location countless times. However, do the past few months I didn’t visit a now I’m shocked how the portions became incredibly smaller for same or slightly higher prices. I left the restaurant hungry after ordering avocado toast and shared French toast. Do not recommend if you want a decent meal.

When in Sofia, go here. It’s popular for a reason. Located inside a small space along a tram track (watch them whizz by as you eat), Rainbow Factory makes a few breakfast items and coffee. The eggs and sausage dish hit the spot and uses local meat. The flat bread comes with jam and cheese. It was delicious! My latte was creamy and strong. I highly recommend this spot.

Absolutely loved everything about this place! I ordered the salad with pear in it but there were sooo many options to choose from! Everyone was extremely friendly, the seating was easy to find and the food was delicious and super filling. Would highly recommend!!

It was fine, not terrible but also not amazing like its rating would suggest. Food was mediocre, service was mediocre (though I'm realizing that in Bulgaria, mediocre service is actually good service lol). Personally I don't understand the high rating and popularity of this place, but its just my opinion!

This is a great place for brunch options. Walking distance from center and many places around. It’s a cozy little cafe with limited seating. However, the turn around isn’t bad. We showed up without booking a table, and it was packed. However in about 10mins a family of 4 left creating space for us. There’s also an option to sit on the cushions outside. But when we visited there was construction happening. Some people were still sitting. Anyway, the coffees were done perfectly. The traditional fried bed tasted yummy. The omelets were excellent. Everything is fresh and delicious. The crew is friendly and were patient with us as we figured out the language and what to order. A definite stop. Just be patient. The waits worth it.
