Rainbow Grill & Bar

Had a really great meal tonight. Bang Bang Shrimp was amazing! Loved my Shrimp Ceviche and my husband really enjoyed the fish and chips. Key Lime Pie to die for!!! The service and atmosphere was just right. Thanks for an enjoyable meal!!

A beautiful covered outdoor space with a view of the water. The rice and beans and Cole slaw were the absolute best we’ve had on the island. The fried conch was amazingly flavorful. Service was satisfactory.

The Rainbow Grill & Bar is located on Caye Caulker island. We went here on one of our day trips. After exploring the area we decided to have a bite to eat. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and chicken quesadilla. Both were very good. The thing that really surprised us was the Pina Colada cheesecake!!! OMG! It was without a doubt the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten! Ever! If you’re ever in Caye Caulker, I highly recommend a visit to the Rainbow!

Best jerk chicken on the island. No idea why the reviews aren’t higher. Go. Great a great backdrop of sunset (it’s on the opposite side of the island, but you still get gorgeous colours). Was empty when we went. Sat by the sea. Totally worth it.

They have a lovely view of the water and plenty of space for seating…. Which means sometimes loud parties sit so if that’s not your thing beware! They have good options and apparently are the place for conch but it was out of season when I was there.

Literally one of my favourite and most memorable meals I had during my visit!! First and foremost, being able to eat with the sound of waves 🌊 literally right next to you has to be one of the most relaxing experiences. Their shrimp quesadillas were so so so amazing, we ended up ordering an extra round to the table!! The service was also great, our waiter was super attentive and made sure that we did not have to wait for any drinks or additional food orders. I ordered the whole fish (prepared with mojo de ajo) and rice and beans, which came with this amazing gravy on the side - and this was what really what made Rainbow Grill excel over many of the other places we dined at. I cannot wait to visit Caye Caulker again to go back to Rainbow Grill!!! They really are a hidden treasure.

Ceviche portion size is TINY compared to other restaurants on the island. Mediocre drinks and service. Nice view if you get a table by the water. But there are other places with good views and way better food.

Great view on the water. I got the coconut shrimp which was really good. My other family members got the lobster quesadilla which was good and the burger which was average. It was lovely to watch the sunset on the water with some drinks.
