Rainbow Grill & Bar

Went here after a day of diving. They have there own dock so you can park your boat right there and head on into the restaurant. Really cute atmosphere and vibe. You know your in the tropics with their décor and menu. We started with conch fritters, they were very good, not chewy at all, very tender. I loved the dipping sauce, a creamy ranch like flavor. One of us had the grilled chicken with a pineapple type gravy with a side of coleslaw and rice. The chicken was cooked perfect and had the right amount of spice but the pineapple gravy was weird to me, I don't like pineapple cooked, love it raw though, so my bad on ordering it. The slaw and rice were Meh. And the side vegetables looked and tasted like they came out of a frozen bag. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. Two of us ordered them and they were great. Would I go here again? Yes, its got great views sitting right on the water.

While walking, I stumbled upon this restaurant. It turned out to be the best on the island. Great options for seafood with fish, lobster, shrimp, conch, etc. lobsters were huge and delicious. Served with rice and beans and coleslaw

We ate here twice - delish! Beautiful view with nice breeze in the shade. My fave was the rice and beans with coleslaw and lime juice - the perfect veg lunch. Guys loved the grilled fish with butter and garlic.

Had a really great meal tonight. Bang Bang Shrimp was amazing! Loved my Shrimp Ceviche and my husband really enjoyed the fish and chips. Key Lime Pie to die for!!! The service and atmosphere was just right. Thanks for an enjoyable meal!!

A beautiful covered outdoor space with a view of the water. The rice and beans and Cole slaw were the absolute best we’ve had on the island. The fried conch was amazingly flavorful. Service was satisfactory.

The Rainbow Grill & Bar is located on Caye Caulker island. We went here on one of our day trips. After exploring the area we decided to have a bite to eat. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and chicken quesadilla. Both were very good. The thing that really surprised us was the Pina Colada cheesecake!!! OMG! It was without a doubt the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten! Ever! If you’re ever in Caye Caulker, I highly recommend a visit to the Rainbow!

Literally one of my favourite and most memorable meals I had during my visit!! First and foremost, being able to eat with the sound of waves 🌊 literally right next to you has to be one of the most relaxing experiences. Their shrimp quesadillas were so so so amazing, we ended up ordering an extra round to the table!! The service was also great, our waiter was super attentive and made sure that we did not have to wait for any drinks or additional food orders. I ordered the whole fish (prepared with mojo de ajo) and rice and beans, which came with this amazing gravy on the side - and this was what really what made Rainbow Grill excel over many of the other places we dined at. I cannot wait to visit Caye Caulker again to go back to Rainbow Grill!!! They really are a hidden treasure.

This restaurant and bar has a spectacular over the water location and great views. Great cocktails (very extensive list) and great for a snack or a meal. The food is solid, but not spectacular. We had a nice conch ceviche (in season during winter), fish sandwich, and shrimp sandwich. You can see the waves breaking over the reef a mile offshore. Overall a great place for food at almost any time during the day.
