The journey to the top of the rainbow mountain was 4km. We walked bout 3km and rode the horse the rest of the journey. It was tiring, so we had to make many stops on the way. We were happy that our bodies didn't react to the high altitude. It was very cold and there was a lot of snow on the mountain. It was an amazing experience. The Alpacas are such beautiful animals.

Beautiful, must visit , we visit kids 15ys old and 11 yrs old . Definitely recommend

Gorgeous rainbow color mountains in the Andes. About 17 thousand feet above sea level. However, it is an extremely difficult hike to see the rainbow mountains and very cold.

We had a perfect private trip with our guide Carlos. Very informative, competent, funny and interesting. Flexible trip to the rainbow mountains. Also the driver was very good as well as breakfast and lunch.

The most stunning views I've ever seen. The hike is reasonably flat until the last 200 /300 metres about 30 minutes of walking , there is service stations along the route with toilets and a shop (bring money for the toilets ) The attitude is high and we bought the local recommended bottle of like what I can decripe as a liquid version of vicks here (smells lovely ) but it completely clears your airways and its alot cleaner there than in the city's and towns Don't bring to much clothes , sunglasses,gloves , hat and light jacket is mor than enough

I did the Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Tour with Roxana and Angel as our tour guides. Everything was perfectly organized and we had a wonderful sunny day there. The pick-up time from your hostel is between 3 - 3:30 AM in Cusco which gets you there basically as the first group to hike rainbow mountain. So you’ll have it for yourself and your group before all the other tours from Cusco (usual pickup 4 -4:30 AM) start. So set an early alarm and do it with these guys. Only recommendation I have would be to add more payment methods if you book online (for example PayPal).

Beautiful 🤩... it was worth hike for 1 hour .. prepare your self because high altitude... but visit its beautiful
