Appreciate the exclusively vegetarian and vegan menu, very nice to not have any meat around. Good food, nice selection. Bread was outstanding, as was cheesecake. Looking at the tacos someone else got, I think that will be my main next time. A few errors by the staff caused the -1 star.

Wholesome and tasty veggie food with plenty of choice on the menu and an extra 'daily specials' menu with a lot of choice too. You'll probably struggle to decide as everything seems so delicious. When we arrived at the table, the waiter completely ignored us despite us trying to catch his attention. There were only two other guests in the restaurant other than us so it wasn't busy but somehow we couldn't get his attention. Anyway once we eventually did, he was very friendly and service was fast. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side but I think it's worth it since it all seems to be home made and fresh.

Best place so far with GF deserts and lasagna! It can be crowded but it is worth the wait and the staff are all very nice. If you have any food allergies or intolerances this is a place for you. Enjoy!

Great borscht & tofu chow fun. Friendly service too. I just wished I lived nearer.

I visited the Rainbow Café on the 111th of July. It is super cosy inside, the decoration is on point and its name suits it well. To find the restaurant you need to enter a really small hall between two buildings, turn left and go down some stairs (which gives you a somewhat Diagonally-ish experience :D). I chose Rainbow Café for this evening because I was looking for vegan options - which is always a struggle visiting a new city. I was not disappointed. I had a Garlic Bread and a Lasaña. The Lasaña was a surprise for me, it was like a deconstructed concept that suited really well with the Café theme. I was happy with my choice and I enjoyed my meal. I would have liked to see some more vegan options for dessert. I would visit again, for sure.

Very bad atmosphere, basically it is a wet and humid cellar. Food was just ok, I had their special spinach lasagna. It was extremely fat, and the taste despite of so much oil consumption was nothing spectacular. Nothing like a calm and nice atmosphere you expect from any cafe. If you care about dishes and glasses of cafe, again forget about it here. Nothing fits in terms of harmony or beauty of space. A very bad choice if you are claustrophobic. >> I added this 3 years after: Reading the answer of the restaurant, will tell you way more things about their attitude as well. Go down and check all their responses to not positive reviews, mine was a bad day, somebody had a bad sleep. Extremely professional!

Last time I visited ca 5 years ago and then again today - and I am happy to say that not much have changed since then. The food is still rather creative and covers a nice range of African and Asian ingredients and spices, the place is comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. Yes, some of dishes are certainly on the 'not too spicy' side - maybe there could be an option to have a 'mild' and 'spicy' option of at least some of the dishes, that might be good for some of the customers who prefer their courses to be on the somewhat hotter side. But in any case - well done the way things are, and I will be happy to return in the future!
