We only stayed there one night in the houses as a tour group and I would not want to stay longer. There was no hot water. The room stank - I could hardly breathe. The restaurant is a disgrace. We were eating in the other restaurant they have in Pacific harbour and it was not good there either. I stayed in a quiet house but some of my colleagues heard a lot of traffic noise. They do not offer breakfast or only much later. Our tour guide organised breakfast for us. Staff were not really friendly which is a rarity in Fiji.

We were a little skeptical due to the negative reviews but were pleasantly surprised with the room; it was small but had an aircon and even a fridge. The room was clean, as well. The bed seems a little bit old and the walls are paper thin, though. But overall good for a budget accommodation. Most of the staff were very friendly. The only negative experience was actually the restaurant - it is not cheap but lacks quality. Most of the dishes on the menu weren't available. When I ordered a dish 3 out of the 4 components were either missing or substituted with something else. Taste wasn't great and I was quite disappointed. Also they don't have any change if you want to pay with cash..

We had to cut our visit short. We requested a king bed, and were given a queen with a “double bed” (several pieces of patio furniture) with no extra sheets or blankets. We were only given one towel, no hand towels, and the room was not equipped with a safe or any amenities like spoons for coffee or a hairdryer. The whole resort appeared run down, and our room was filled with bugs. The restaurant was awful, service took forever and they were missing half their menu. The staff seemed very uninterested in being there, and we were mostly ignored. The resort was dead, we only saw two other guests while we were there (despite being told that it was fully booked and we could not switch our room) The one plus of this place is that the location is stunning, you really feel like you are deep in the jungle. But for how disappointing the resort is, I would find somewhere else to stay in Suva and do a day trip to the park.

This place is great. |Came to stay a couple of nights but decided to stay here the rest of my time in Fiji. |I stayed in a Bure room which was great. Roomy and spacious and has everything you need apart from maybe a chair desk which would be a great addition. |The place is generally quiet. |But the only negative I can really think of is unnecessary noise.. loud music in the dining room.. staff making unnecessary noise and playing music loudly.. people around the pool area late at night making noise.. etc. Disappointing. |Just listening to the sounds of the rainforest and birds etc is lovely.|Then had maintenance man come to do work on the Bure while I’m here trying to enjoy my stay? Opening the place up to the mosquitos and making banging and making excessive noise.. which was totally unnecessary and could be left till when the room is vacated..!?? Crazy. |All these negatives are totally unnecessary and easily avoidable.

The hotel was ok for the price. The room was spacious and clean. The shower had hot water and enough pressure. The main problem was the light. There were lights pointing to the room and no blinds to make the room sufficiently dark. The location near the rainforest park was convenient. We went here for birding and found good places right in front of the hotel. The restaurant was expensive and not good. Unfortunately we only discovered on the last day that we could just take a taxi to a restaurant called Siam Hut, that was close by, affordable, and much better. Next to the Siam Hut restaurant there was a good bakery were we bought stuff for more meals. Cheaper and better to take the taxi.

Wifi should be faster and everywhere, including restaurant. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place in nature. Close to a hiking trail to waterfalls.

Great place overall! I loved it and had fun. It just needs a bit of maintenance. Overall, the rooms were okay, but the experience was great. It's a good place to go with family.

Good value for money. Towels are included and there is a $30 key deposit. The night porter is very helpful and friendly.
