Raízes - Horta da Terra

We loved our dinner and experience so much! Everything we ate was delicious, from the bread, to the side dishes, meats and desserts. It was perfect. We are so happy we got to experience this dinner. The atmosphere was also so beautiful. No improvements needed at all!! Thank you!!

It was a night to remember. Sitting at a table with people you don’t no, gave it a extra, very positive dimension. And then the food. Spoilerallert Perfect in every way!! When visit VilaLara ask at check inn if there is any place free and make quickly a reservation!

This was such a surreal experience. The chef and staff were amazing, so informative and intentional with everything. The food was already some of the best I’ve had and they went out of their way to make me vegetarian dishes while I could tell everyone who ate the meat was in heaven. The experience of being seated with other guests was also a great surprise. We really enjoyed meeting others who were visiting and it made the evening much better. We love the concept and are wishing this team the best of luck as it grows!

It was amazing lovely food threw out the night and nice to be on a long table with other people, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and great concept hopefully your open a few more times a week as it was great 😊

We had an incredible time at Raizes! From the moment we were greeted by the chef, we felt his and the restaurant's connection to the food we were about to have. Each dish came with an explanation and a story by the chef himself, who visited each table during the meal. Meats, side dishes, and desert table were plentiful and succulent. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Definitely recommend a visit :)

What an experience! As a relatively introverted person I was hesitant about booking a “social dining” barbecue, but Chef Telmo has crafted a truly memorable experience. Everyone was so excited every time he brought a new dish to the table, and the journey through his flavors of the Algarve is not one to be missed. Be prepared for a dinner that lasts well into the night, but savoring the food, wine, and conversation is a treasure. Could not be happier with the whole experience!
