13 Things to Do and See in India in 2025

"I consider this large art-deco cinema in Jaipur the best place in the country to catch a Bollywood film—the pastel-colored interior, efficient suit-clad staff, spacious comfortable seats and the lively atmosphere of hundreds of excited local moviegoers make you feel like you're at a premiere; when the film ends you can walk two minutes to MI Road for Jaipuri lassi shops, and tickets generally range from 100–400 INR depending on seating." - Matthew Kepnes

Beautiful cinema hall, amazing architecture and great vibe it holds. Massive capacity it has. But few cons such as front block (ruby) seats aren’t comfortable avoid them if you’re more than 5’6” as they have less knee room and book at-least emerald or better go for diamond or premium seats. You’ll definitely enjoy the vibe here, i watched dhurandhar and it was an amazing experience. Now coming to food- limited options but let me tell you the samosas are mouth-wateringly yummy.

Raj Mandir is truly one of the most iconic cinema halls in India, and watching a movie here is an experience in itself. The moment you enter, the grand architecture, beautiful lighting, and royal ambience give you a nostalgic, classic theatre feel. The interiors are well maintained and carry that vintage charm Jaipur is known for. The screen quality and sound system are excellent, making the movie feel more immersive. Seating is comfortable, though slightly old-school, but it adds to the overall heritage vibe. The crowd energy here is amazing—every show feels like a celebration. Snacks are reasonably priced, and service is quick. The theatre is clean, and staff members are polite.

Stepping into Rajmandir Cinema is like embracing a warm hug from the past. This iconic Jaipur landmark, with its old-school charm, whisks you away to a simpler era of cinema. The retro architecture, vintage posters, and creaky wooden seats evoke memories of family outings and matinee shows. It’s not just a theater—it’s a time capsule. The screening experience is good, perfect for a group of friends or family. The balcony seats offer a slightly elevated view, while the ground floor feels intimate. The sound, though a tad lacking crispness, doesn’t overshadow the magic. Picture quality is decent, but the real star is the *nostalgia*. Watching a blockbuster here feels like reliving childhood. The staff are courteous, and the food? Classic: crunchy samosas, buttery popcorn, and chai. It’s a sensory trip. Sure, modern multiplexes boast tech, but Rajmandir wins on soul. Ideal for retro fans, local films, or a quirky date. *Verdict*: 4.5/5. If you crave authenticity over luxury, Rajmandir is a must-visit. Grab a masala chai, laugh with the crowd, and let the magic unfold. 😊 _Tip: Arrive early to soak in the vibe._ *Rating Breakdown*: ⭐️ Ambiance: 5/5 ⭐️ Sound: 3.5/5 ⭐️ Comfort: 4/5 ⭐️ Food: 4/5 ⭐️ Nostalgia: 5/5! Perfect for groups. A living memory. Go.

Raj Mandir Cinema is not just a theatre — it’s an experience! Visiting this iconic place in Jaipur felt like stepping into a piece of cinema history. Known as one of the most beautiful movie theatres in India, Raj Mandir truly lives up to its reputation with its grand architecture, vintage charm, and royal ambience. The moment you see the exterior, you’re impressed by its unique art-deco style design and the giant illuminated façade. Once you step inside, it feels like entering a palace — the interiors are luxurious, with chandeliers, soft lighting, and pastel-colored walls. The auditorium itself is huge, and the seating arrangement is very comfortable with great visibility from every corner. The curved ceiling, mood lighting, and rich decor make the whole movie experience feel special and elegant. I watched a Bollywood movie here, and the energy of the crowd made it even better. Locals clap, cheer, and whistle during key moments, making it feel like a true celebration of cinema rather than just a screening. The sound and picture quality were excellent, and the staff was polite and well-organized. The theatre also maintains good hygiene and cleanliness despite heavy crowds. Outside, there are several food stalls and restaurants where you can grab snacks before or after the show. The ticket prices are reasonable considering the overall royal experience. Overall, Raj Mandir Cinema is a must-visit attraction in Jaipur — not just for movie lovers but for anyone who wants to feel the city’s cultural and cinematic spirit. Watching a film here is something you’ll remember long after your trip ends. Highly recommended! Just a thing to keep in mind: you might find it messy. Seats and floor

A movie with super comfortable reclining chairs. Interior is something from the USA movies in the 80's. Several food stands. Tickets are not sold online so you have to queue starting 45-60 minutes before the movie start. No subtitles on a movie we visited, but recommended for the experience and cheers of locals reacting to certain scenes or actors.

What an experience. Lovely theatre and huge screen. Massive crowd - around 4-5 times more than usual multiplex. The vibe and feel of the place is satisfactory. Watched SSKTK - last week. However., the snack options - the quality can be much better.
