After visiting the main temples in Khajuraho, we headed for brunch at Raja Cafe, which is perfectly located very close to the exit. We headed to the rooftop, which has a great view of the temples and is laden with trees. Since we visited in January, the weather was great, despite it being the afternoon. I first ordered a cold coffee, requesting less sugar and the coffee was amazing! My partner who ordered an Americano as usual tried my cold brew & decided to get one for himself at the end. He however forgot to tell them to tone down the sugar, so his was too sweet, like cold coffees usually are, so that's our fault.
For starters we split a Caesar salad, which was deliciously fresh and very filling. Then we ordered a cheesy veg & chicken burger each. Both came with a generous portion of French fries and the burgers were the right kind of juicy.
Tourists on a budget might find the Cafe on the pricey side. However, we found our food to be totally worth the bill.
