Raja Cafe Restaurant , Khajuraho

Located just opposite the exit point for the Western group of Khajuraho temples. Went for both lunch and dinner. At first the prices seems a bit expensive, but the portion size is huge. Tried honey sesame chicken for starters and chicken pizza. Both were good. Huge and more than enough for 2 people. Also, had fresh lime soda, in which they provide a whole bottle for soda. For dinner, tried carbonara pasta. Again huge quantity, creamy and delicious. Chicken sizzler was also good.

Pleasantly surprised to eat some good continental food at their restaurant. We honestly didn’t expect such well cooked and tasty meal. The staff is courteous and helpful too. The locals also highly recommend this restaurant. The cafe is bang opposite the Western group of Khajurao temple.

It's very convenient and easy as it is the only one with terrace and looking straight into the temple. Nothing too special and food was not amazing but you pay for the location and it has western menu that fits everyone. Wifi was not working Food ok just ok Coffee not great Clean place though Quiet atmosphere

Heaven sent option right in front of the actual Western group of temples at Khajuraho. We toured the temples between 9:45-12:00 pm. The weather was pleasant enough, but of course sunny as hell. Imagine coming out of the sun into the AC and getting served chilled beer. An absolute treat. Good food options, very conveniently located, and tourist friendly. I asked them to refill my bottle and they did with chilled RO water. Served me RO water without any fuss.

While coming here, first of all you should know that Khajuraho is a village and food served in restaurants here is basic except hifi resorts n hotels. Don't compare with a tier 1 city. Keeping this in mind Raja cafe is the best cafe among the category. Service here is good. We were the first visitor and they switched on the AC without asking for. The paranthas were ok ok, with need of more stuffing. English breakfast was very good. Cold coffee was good n made of thick milk. It's just beside the union bank ATM, a few metres away from the exit gate of the temples. Highly recommend to come here.

The views and the top sitting is amazing but the food quality is a bit low. I got a molded bread so i hope It’s not healthy and they use old raw materials.

It has only a few tables with temple view and they're mostly occupied from the evening. Otherwise the seating area is nice there's outdoor plus indoor. The roof top seating has a very steep and tiny spiral staircase. The food is nice better than the rest of the cafes in the area but the service is pathetic. They take forever to bring anything.

After visiting the temples this is the perfect place to relax. The verandah has a wonderful view of the temples. Plenty of options for vegetarians. The chilli cauliflower and fries are delicious. The pizza is ok. India dishes are top quality.
