The hotel rooms were below expectations, with minimal amenities and outdated interiors. The cleanliness was not up to standard, and basic facilities like proper bedding, toiletries, were lacking. While the staff was polite, the overall experience left much to be desired. Improvements in room maintenance and amenities are necessary to make the stay more comfortable. On the positive side, the beach is within walking distance, and the pricing is reasonable. However, 4-wheeler parking is located outside the premises.

It seems to be in the middle of a renovation so prices are very good, but you get what you pay for. The rooms are very nice, shower and bed are great, working AC. But the moment you leave the room it's total caos, the kitchen is a warzone and the hotel has nothing to offer except the room itself.They claim many things which they don't have, there is no 24h reception. The location is great, next to the beach and lots of attractions close by.We did not enjoy our stay, there are many dogs living in the hotel and they bark all night and nobody cares. Would not recommend this hotel in it's current state, there are many other options.

I had booked this guesthouse for a night during my visit to Mahabalipuram. I had booked an economy room from one of the online booking website. However, when I got that room, it was not in good shape to spend a night, considering the weather of Mahabalipuram.|I asked owner if I can get another better room. Thankfully, there was one room available. But, of course, it came with additional amount, which I was happy to pay.|This room was better. Good for spending one night.|The guesthouse is in an area which has multiple guesthouses and also a lot of restaurants. It is at a walking distance from Shore temple and other main attractions of Mahabalipuram.|The guesthouse does not have in-house restaurant. The bathroom did not have geyser (in fact, it was not needed as well).|The owner is talkative and very helpful. He allowed me to keep my luggage for some extra time when I wanted to visit a nearby place and my check-out time was already over.|But, if you keep your expectations minimal, then this is a decent choice for a stay in Mahabalipuram.

Me and my husband staying in rajalakshmi guest house. There rooms is neat and clean and washroom also neat and clean. And very good service.There staff are very good we stay there very safely.|Thanks for all services for me rooms are excellent I like this rooms.

First things first, rooms were fine, but the atmosphere around the hotel was not appealing. You can clearly notice it because the guest houses are beside and nesr offer much more pleasant experience. Go for it If you are strictly looking for just a room And want to ignore the ambience around it

Nice room and safe and secure worth of money and very low price in surrounded area

Very clean rooms with good facilities including AC, fan etc. Great location within the traveller/backpacker area of Mahabalipuram but off the main streets so quieter. Close to beach. Hammocks in communal areas for chilling. Couple that own are lovely and helpful
