Ramada by Wyndham Amritsar

The USP of this hotel is their location. Staff is also very nice and courteous (specially Mr. Inderpal Singh). But i would request them to get their kitchen staff trained from some good training center. Taste of food (especially aloo parantha is 3 out of 10). Though there is great rush of people all the time but they should not take it as granted and taste of food served need to be improved.

Ideally located within walking distance to key locations.|Partition Museum is a few mins walk away and the Jallianwalabagh and Golden Temple is an easy walking distance (15mins). |Room size (deluxe) was good and bed was comfortable. They could be better soundproofed. Cleaning was adequate but a little bit more attention could be paid to the room cleaning.|Decor of the hotel was a bit kitsch but nicely done|There was a good range for breakfast and evening meals. Reasonably priced although could eat much cheaper and good food outside.|Staff were friendly and helpful in particular Mandeep and Ranveer in the restaurant. |Do note that the hotel is within the old city walls hence it being designated a holy city so no alcohol or (red) meat is served here.

From the reception to the restaurant, she was always present with a warm smile and a genuinely helpful attitude. Miss Rajveer is extremely kind, humble, and courteous. Her willingness to assist, attention to detail, and calm professionalism made the entire stay comfortable and pleasant. It is rare to see someone manage multiple areas so effortlessly while still making guests feel valued and welcomed. She truly represents the spirit of hospitality, and her service left a lasting impression. Ramada Amritsar is fortunate to have such a dedicated and customer-focused team member.

We stayed at Ramada Amritsar in Hall Bazaar for a full week, and the experience was truly memorable. From breakfast to dinner, and even in-room dining, everything was handled with a warm service attitude and a genuine smile.||The staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Whether it was the restaurant team, housekeeping, or in-room dining, every interaction reflected professionalism and a sincere desire to help.||I would especially like to acknowledge the efforts of Temjen, Mandeep, Rajveer, (Chief of Staff) Rajesh, Pooja, Ravi, Sahil, Hrithik and Abhishek who made our stay even more pleasant with their exceptional service.||Overall, Ramada Amritsar offers a wonderful blend of comfort, great food, and truly caring staff. Absolutely fantastic service by the entire team that made our stay at Ramada a memorable one. Room was spacious enough with comfortable, super clean sheets and pillows. Bathroom amenities were good. Hotel is located close to many tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Buffet breakfast had good mix of Indian and continental mix. Live Tea, parota and egg station was impressive.

I recently stayed at the Ramada in Amritsar, and I have to say, it was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access local attractions like the Golden Temple, which was a huge plus for my trip. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome right away. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated how they took the time to explain the amenities. My room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything I needed. I particularly loved the cozy bed—it felt like sinking into a cloud after a long day of exploring. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of options, from local favorites to more familiar dishes. It was a great way to fuel up for a busy day. Plus, the dining area had a lovely atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to start the morning. One thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness. The housekeeping team did a great job, and it really made a difference in how comfortable I felt during my stay. Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay in Amritsar that’s close to the main sights, I’d definitely recommend the Ramada. It met all my expectations and added a nice touch to my trip! I would personally like to thank Rajveer for being both courteous and helpful and she is a credit to this Hotel. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Hall Bazar, with all major shopping areas nearby. Harmandir Sahib and other attractions are within walking distance. The food also tasted quite good. However, the rooms were just average. There was a persistent, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. I noticed that other guests have mentioned the same issue, and I even saw similar feedback on MMT and Google, but it seems the problem hasn’t been addressed yet. The breakfast buffet was quite chaotic. There were no glasses available for drinks for about 10–15 minutes, and guests were waiting around. I even saw an elderly uncle using a bowl to have juice. Service was also slow when ordering food. For instance, it took almost 20 minutes to get an Amritsari kulcha after I placed the order. Overall, based on my stay and experience, it doesn’t quite match a 4-star standard. There’s definitely room for improvement in several areas.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ramada Amritsar. The food was delicious with a wide variety that catered to all tastes. Room service was prompt and efficient, making our stay extremely comfortable. The staff deserves a special mention – polite, courteous, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile to make my husband’s birthday truly memorable with their thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality. Another big plus is its excellent location, just a short walk from the Golden Temple, which made our trip even more convenient and fulfilling. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, service, and heartfelt hospitality.
