The seaview from this hotel is the best thing about the location, Plus, there are ample vendors to buy food from which are truly walking distance from this hotel. The restaurant is always vacant, which is a sign. The pool's design was fantastic; however, it was dirty. The rooms are less than desirable and I could not get access to the free wifi in it. The beds were toooooo soft, that we could not get comfortable. I'll stop here. In short, stay some place else.

Overall the stay was decent. Berta & Gloria were helpful and accomodating for our stay. I found it interesting that this hotel is connected to the only cinema in the country. I liked the view of the dock side and the unique layout of the hotel. I think the rooftop above the casino could put some gardens on top to make it more attractive looking from the rooms overlooking the city side. I booked the stay through Wyndham but my stays still have not posted to my account. The place is an older building but they have made efforts to renovate little by little. We enjoyed the breakfast each day, the piano and lobby area are comfortable. Overall I would stay again but they could make improvements in many areas.

Avoid the Ramada Belize City - A Disappointing Stay My recent stay at the Ramada by Wyndham Belize City was deeply disappointing and fell far short of expected standards, especially considering the brand reputation. The problems started immediately at check-in. Despite booking the room using Wyndham Rewards points, which should cover the room regardless of occupancy (up to the standard limit), the front desk staff insisted on charging an extra fee for the additional guests in our party. This is incorrect policy and resulted in an unauthorized and frustrating extra charge. The hotel's environment was also unpleasant. The entire lobby area was noticeably smokey due to its connection with the on-site casino, making the common areas feel stale and uncomfortable. We made the mistake of trying the on-site restaurant, and the experience was abysmal. The service was extremely slow, making a simple meal feel like an hour-long ordeal. Worse still, the food quality was very bad—it was barely edible. I recommend avoiding the restaurant entirely. Finally, the room condition was unacceptable. The general state of the accommodations was poor, and most alarmingly, there was visible mold in the bathrooms. This is a serious health and maintenance issue that needs immediate attention. Overall, between the incorrect billing, the smoky environment, poor dining experience, and the badly maintained, moldy rooms, this property is in dire need of an overhaul and significant staff training. I strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere.

It was a great experience to be staying at the hotel. Rooms were well furnished with amenities. Pillows could have been better. From the room there was a beautiful view of Caribbean Sea and the jetty. Breakfast was good. There is a Casino in hotel premises. There are restaurants in close vicinity of the hotel. Was impressed by the welcome by Front Desk by Bertha. Melanie was helpful and efficient. |Yasmin at the travel desk provided efficient services for tours and transfers.|Over all the service was good.

The rooms were old and dirty! Their attempt to update was horrible. Work was sloppy didn't even tape off when painting. Pictures online are deceiving. Please look at the ones im adding for a better idea. They smelt bad it both rooms were stayed in a week apart. Both breakfast we had were discussing. First day eggs were raw and slurpy second time was burt and green no exaggeration. Their sausage was just hotdogs both times. So if you are considering this hotel for that, DON'T!

I dont know why all the negative reviews, I believe that people dont understand that the Ramada chain of hotels are basically 3 star and the theme here is no different from the USA. I paid $65 usd per night, if people dont understand, you get what you pay for, nothing more, as a matter of fact the average price in the USA is $100 usd and most times no breakfast. The rooms are dated, but an effort is made to maintain, I had a break stay, initially I stayed in room 511 and then 402. The toilet and face basin worked well, the shower heads were different in both rooms and had good pressure. The beds were average, the room spacious (similar to USA) and had a safe, a lugguage rack, desk, sofa chair, reasonable lighting and the a/c worked well, the entrance door is electronically opened and there is a TV. The breakfast is sufficient and pretty, with cereals, eggs, bread, fruits, yogurt, juices, coffee, salad items and a local option, if you looking for a 5 star spread, that costs about $250+ a night (give or take), as for the pool, I did not check it out, for me, I got value for money....$65 per night with breakfast....and I have stayed in over 150 different hotels from 0 star to 5 star, some of you all need to stop whinning for 5 star when you pay for 3 star. As for service, I have no complaints, the rooms were clean and well made with ample complimentary bottle water and toiletries and there are lots of food options within walking distance, there is a bar and casino if thats your thing and a tour help desk, taxi to and from the airport is $60 Belize

I stayed here years ago and they have done absolutely nothing to maintain the hotel. There is nothing positive about this hotel. Do not waste your time or money. The room I was given dark and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom windows could not be closed. There were no hangers in the room. The TV did not work. The telephone did not work. There were no towels in the room. I requested to be moved to another room. This one was marginally better. I was booked for 5 nights, but checked out after 2 nights and went to another hotel. The cabinet doors were falling off. There was rips on the wall and mold in the bathroom. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I will never return to this hotel. STAY AWAY!!

I would never stay or recommend this place to anyone. I checked in on Thursday and had to literal beg a housekeeper to clean my room Saturday night. Never happened. I had a room with no phone no iron and when I did get one it was broken. I’ve made several complaints with no results. I’m definitely requesting half my money back. Horrible stay horrible service. I guess there is shortage of washcloths, never received any and if you do hold on to it for your entire trip. When they finally did bring us wash clothes I was in the shower and the housekeeper asked me back for it I had to tell her I’m using it. The food was terrible I ordered shrimp it was ice cold like it was precooked and taking out the fridge and thrown on a plate. The worst part they offer free breakfast every morning. Boiled eggs scrambled eggs beans and hot dogs, you have to pay for bacon omelette pancakes or French toast. The prices are not bad and the best part is the location. You can walk to any club restaurant or shop. This place doesn’t believe in customer service and the 4 managers I did inform said they would tell the general manager. I’m so disappointed and disgusted
