You can tell this hotel was a real gem back in it's day! The place is grand and amazing. It has a great deal many services (guest services, room service, taxi, WIFI, a theater, a casino, pool, gym, arcade room, and a breakfast room. The lobby is grand and the entire place looks spectacular, if you don't look too closely. It really does need some tender love and care, some updating, and some new hardware and appliances. The place is kept very clean but it's notably becoming a little run-down, the beds could really use some updating as they are really worn, but overall it's a really great stay. The staff is absolutely amazing and really makes this place shine, they are always friendly and helpful! The breakfast has good omelets but the rest of the breakfast is a little lacking. They should but out something like scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, bacon, sausage. Often these things are lacking and replaced with hard boil eggs, deli meats and sliced cheeses, with some fruit. The fry jacks are amazing if you're lucky to get them that morning. The hotel has great food options in walking distances (Ochuna and Midway), and the beach next-door has a good night life and community events there often which is nice. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip as the dock is the dock we use to get to Huracan Diving Lodge so it's perfectly situated for a staying somewhere before your trip.

I have been to Belize several times and stayed at the Ramada Hotel on all occasions.|The hotel is in great and secure location. It gives you a great sense of security while venturing out. Lots of great restaurants, night clubs, a movie theater, game room and a casino.|The hotel has a great pool and view to kill in front of the sea. The staff are very friendly and accommodating from the checking-in, maintenance and restaurant. Very excellent customer services specially Ms. Bertha with her friendly smile and professionalism.|If you a wholehearted person of the gym, you would be disappointed with the Flint Stone's era equipments. They are torn, rust and worn out.|Sorry management: It Does Need an Upgrade.

I am surprised that Wyndham has there name attached to this place. We were a party of 3. Arrived at the hotel early and could not check in until 3pm. OK. Not a big deal. Had to ask about a welcome drink coupon. They did not have anymore and asked to come back the next day (mind you, she could have walked over to the bar and tell them). Finally got the coupon the next night but the front desk woman (must have been working both the front and bar) could not make a mix drink and only doing bottles and cans). The real bartender (a male. cannot remember his name) did make the drinks with no problem. Only 2 bath towels. 1 hand towel and 1 face towel for 3 people in the room. Called down for more towels, it took them over 4 hours to get more towels AND I had to get them from the front desk!!! The next morning, I called for more face towels and an additional 2 bath towels were brought to the room. Not what I asked for. Put in a request for more towels when we left for our tour the next day (This way they had ALL day to get them), was given 2 more towels. Mind you, there are 3 people in the room and they know there is 3 people in the room. Room was outdated. Asked about the light at the top of the dresser/cabinet, front desk did not know how to turn it on. I asked for maintenance person (Never came). Breakfast was different. Hard boiled eggs, liquid eggs, sausage (hot dog meat we say in America), raw onions and peppers (for what I am not sure), deli ham (not salty so a good thing), beans (good the first morning, not so good the second), cereal, breads, milk, juice and coffee. Casino is just sad. Do not think of this hotel as a vacation spot but a transit. Do your tours and move on immediately!!

This place is absolutely horrible. The lobby is nice however the rooms are outdated. We had to change rooms twice. They were both filthy and moldy. The bath mat was dirty and moldy. Appears that no renovations have ever been done. The lighting is awful. The breakfast food is inedible. Watermelon was the only item edible. The staff was courteous and helpful. However they only allow one bottle of water per room even though there are 2 people in the room. It took hours to receive a single washcloth. The elevator was constantly out of order.

Good location, with great taxi service located outside the main entrance, and nice personnel, BUT, the rooms are dated. This hotel was probably nice in the 1980s, but in 2025, a no-go...stay elsewhere. Owners need to re-invest in the property. My 83yrs mother asked to stay b/c of on-site casino.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Princess Ramada in Belize city. The rooms smelled very musky and not very clean. Since the change in management, the hotel has certainly went down hill. The first morning we woke up to water all over the floor as there was a leak in the window and all of our stuff was soaking wet. The same morning, all of the power went out in the hotel. It was back up within an hour so it wasn’t horrible. The included breakfast was subpar. Hard boiled eggs, fruit and beans and they only offered omelettes one day. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else during your stay in Belize city!

The service was very good. The location is great. The rooms are okay with soft thick towels and great views, but the bathrooms could use a bit of fixing up. The outside and pool needs a makeover. There is a tour person to help too.
