Ramada by Wyndham Princess Santo Domingo

This place is a NOPE. Sure, it’s cheap and all and the room initially looks good, but the service and quality here is lacking. Staff look like they’re tired and don’t want to be there. My room (405) looked nice but: WiFi did not work for me, water seeped through the wall in the shower, the AC was on full blast with no way to lower it, there was no comforter or blanket in my room (literally my bed only had thin sheets on it; I ended up using towels to warm up), no TV remote (TV turned out to not work anyway), and no phone to call down to front desk. Apparently you’re supposed to use WhatsApp to communicate with front desk but no one told me this when I checked in. Breakfast was included but it was literally just mangu, cereal, and juice/coffee. If you’re desperate for a cheap place to stay then this will be it.

The hotel was perfect, the only inconvenience was with a Rosemary front desk. I left a tip for 2 housekeeping and she also gave her a gift. The problem was she never given the Money to the housekeeping. I informed Fernanda and Dani that they were super cool. Thank you for your attention

Horrible !!! Nothing like the pictures. Service is horrible!!!! Because it is joined to a casino there is never any parking, and the guys get upset with you and make you park far in the back if you give them a tip of 50 or 100 pesos . Room is moldy and only 2 towels were given. None for the floor when you step out of the shower, I slid twice. We had roaches in the bathroom on the 1st day of our stay. Keys weren't working when we came back to the hotel around 2am. No one at FD to assist, waited 15mins and then someone came from upstairs. Parts of the ceiling and bathroom wall is missing. Tv remote only works if you stand infront of the tv . There is no comforter or blanket in the room , so we turned off the ac and sweat all night. Run !!! Choose airbnb instead do not stay here when you are in Santo Domingo. The only good thing about this place is that the maids are very friendly.

My familiy of 5 stayed in a room with, one towel, a old broken TV, goo going out of the bath tub, I broken outlet, a broken lamp, a broken mirror, the shower wasn't working properly, and a few geckos chilling above me.....

I am not sure how Ramada uses its brand name with this one. After 7pm until 6:00AM that’s right 6 in the morning..This place is a base thumping disco. Good luck sleeping. Through the walls doesn’t matter what floor you are on, the vibration from the subwoofers will be uncing all night. How did someone ever think it’s a good idea to allow a club to operate in the centre of a hotel? 2nd floor pool turns into a club every single night. In a hotel where people intend to get a good sleep away from home. Completely illogical. I could even understand if it was until 2am like normal establishments that serve alcohol. But no, this one is until 6AM 😭 So if you would like to sleep…at a hotel? Be very careful with this one.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Ramada hotel here in Santo domingo for 14 days .so the experience was soo so bad so disappointed with (almost)! everything. When i first arrived i had like a bigg luggage with a lot of bags ...leterly nobody came to help me with them .i have booked it via booking.com in advance,soo when i finish pay my stay at the front desk i went to my room soo again nobody help me with all my stuffs when i walked into the room it smels leterly like when 2 people finished have intercourse..yesss it leterly smels like that ...i leterly need to open the window and spray cologne in the room in the badroom everywhere , they give old towels sometimes dirty towels and when you ask them to change it they take to long or give you attitude.my little fridge didn't work and smels bad like few month they didn't clean it . The tub where you take a shower was clogged soo when you taking a shower the water not going down it take forever.you cant control the water temperature because it doesn't work 5 minutes to water is piping hot!!!! You can make a tea with it and 5 minute the water is super cold so ridiculous. soo yea the sink was also broken they just fix it with black tape to cover it .the windows was dirty with dust full of dust...the windows was not sound proof not even a little bitt we where in fron of a high way you can even listen what people being talking down on the 1 floor outside in front of the hotel ,The ac control wasn't working even when you turn it off its still cold in there. Room service dont you even order because its gonna take upp too 1 hour every single time .food is not even sooo great taste blend and not fresh . Sop after 3 days i ask to transfer to another room because that one has to Manny issues and broken things ...at the end they couldn't change me to another room ...a skinny tall lady from the frondesk came with lot off exuses hotel wasn't even full .one of the lady from housekeeping a brown lady with black hair she leterly stole a bagg fulll of snacks from us ...she came with the exuse that she tought that the bagg has garbage inside and she trow it away but when we went to complain after the next day she came with the snacks but half of all the snacks we had in the bag, the girl from housekeeping that stole our snacks leterly said in front of the tall girl they call flaca from front desk that she gonna buy the missing snacks tomorrow. Soo everything we gad in the bagg was: •2 box of granola bars •1 large size Pringles •1 large spicy doritos bag •1 whole pack of club social biscuits •2 big pack spicy Japanese ramen •1bag of popcorn Soo next day the robber came with her supervisor from housekeeping and tell me she doesn't have anny money that its our fault bla bla bla ..i leterly said i want my money back i dont want to hear a dam thing ..the housekeeping supervisor told me that take this receipt go with it to the supermarket buy the missing items came back with the receipt and the hotel is gonna pay me back my snacks .i did that thr next day but they took leterly until the last day of my stay to pay me .soo miserable those people from the front desk they dont even communicate with each other so the other shift could know whats happening thats why i took soo long for me to get my money back .ow let me not forget this next to my room was another room they where remodeling soo every night some staff come in that room to smoke weed!!!! Leterly thr whole hallway smells like weed .sooo disgusting and unprofessional. There's only 3 things i did like about that hotel was nr 1 the breakfast was delicious the smal white lady that work in the breakfast restaurant almost every morning was so friendly look happy and work with enthusiasm and joy . Nr 2 was the pool lounge side was amazing very relaxing at nights they have dj and happy hour that place name is ( Bianco ) so the pool lounge side was not own and manage by the hotel its a different company that rent the space i think .and the nr3 thing i like was the location of the hotel was soo central for us .the hotel need to be 2 stars

I'm disappointed this is my second time here and both times I've been disappointed. This time I'm here the air conditioning is not working well at all in the room I have the curtains closed and it's not cool in the room at all... Even when you put your hand to the air conditioner it is lukewarm.. As for the hot water, I have no hot water in the shower.. If you run the water long enough the hot water gets hot in the sinks but not the shower very disappointing.. I was trying to take photos and they stop me, I was on the second floor where the pool is above the casino and they wouldn't let me take photos there because they don't want me to take photos of anything with the casino... I don't know why I'm am a floor above it, it is 9:00 a.m. in the morning... There is nobody there but the people washing down the machines.... I don't see what the problem was...... Then I went to the banquet room which is completely open but there's no lights on so I wanted to see how the setup was and of course they came up there to stop me as well... They told me I can't be there .. I said it's open and I'm just looking, they didn't care.. Very disappointing obviously I was just looking around and trying to take photos... obviously I'm an American and I do not understand their customs or rules but there is no need to act like this... Very disappointing I don't think I can recommend this hotel to anybody.... At this place if this will be the same treatment every time somebody comes....

This is my second time staying in this hotel security is good checking is so easy and the rooms are very big
