Stayed over the weekend with my kids. I was pretty disappointed all in all. For almost $500 a night I definitely expected more. No pool, no room service or anything available. The carpet smelt and was absolutely filthy, stains on the bedding, spare blanket unwashed. The tv wouldn't take a hdmi cord so we couldnt chromecast tv and was expected to pay $5 per movie if booked. Worst of all I didnt sleep for the whole 2 nights because I had my 5 year old with me and both the balcony door could be easily unlocked to go out and the front door can open from the inside to go out.. no chain.. no other way for a safety lock so even going to the bathroom worried me leaving her. I dont often get an opportunity to book a weekend away we wanted to relax and binge watch tv and couldnt even do that.. and to have spent that much money I will probably never return im so upset. I booked... then read the google reviews so rung with my concerns and was told not to worry all the carpets were replaced etc. They weren't and room smelt so stale and old. Felt the need to wash all our clothes when we got home. I also notice you simply just get a reply on here saying sorry and not actually a solution. Like I said this was meant to be a treat for myself and my kids and it ended up being far from. The doors were the worst when you spend that much money you shouldn't have to worry that much.. so upset

The location was fantastic. The apartment shares floors with live in residence, you exit the Lift and were welcomed with an aromatic distinctive smell. The room was nice enough it was well lived in, with visible cracks in the paint and grubby marks on the wall. The guest services were fantastic. Besides it looking very lived in! It was great! On the expensive side for what you get.

Parking a vehicle higher than 2.2 metres was a real issue. The staff member wasn't very helpful as to were to go to park. Took 1 half hrs to find a park . We were given the wrong instructions for our room lift 1 level 3 room 09... We got stuck on level 3 at room 09 tried to ring the number supplied no one answered 🙃. We got in the elevator to see if anyone was at check in. We were told we were given the wrong instructions lift 3 level 1 rm 109 .. She wasn't really bothered by this said sorry but felt it was a inconvenience for her. We are also owners of whydum for 13yrs and found this accommodation to be not great . The morning staff were lovely. I felt it was a staff issue that made our stay uncomfortable from the start.

Room36, 2 bedroom business suite on level 5 had good views, balcony was great and big. Location was good, great walking distance to beach and local shops and restaurants. Peaceful and quiet during our stay. Night markets were on with food trucks so that was a bonus. Our only downfall was that the carpets were very soiled and in need of cleaning and the carpets outside room were dirty too.

If I could give zero stars I would. My partner and I stayed here for our two year anniversary. The first room we were placed in had a view of the apartments across the road and an air conditioning unit that made the most obnoxious noise. We had no other option but to ask to move rooms. In the second room, when it came to have a shower, the water was freezing cold. After calling reception, at 8:55pm, the lady said to “turn off the hot water system and wait 5 minutes.” After waiting, still no hot water, we tried to call her back but of course reception closed. (All part of her plan, if you ask me). We were forced to take a cold shower at night and in the morning in the middle of winter. First world problems I know, but when you pay over $200 for a night stay at a ‘nice’ hotel you would at least expect a hot shower. Don’t bother going here, waste of money!!

This hotel is beyond disgusting. There is a smell emanating from the carpet that is revolting and made me nauseous, combination of mould and something trying to mask mould: the towels looked unclean dnd disgusting, bathrooms were horrendous mould everywhere and just generally unclean. I felt uncomfortable even sitting down. Never again. Surely anything would be better than this.

This accommodation is in a quiet location, about 500 meters from the beach across the street. A quick note for your convenience: the electrical outlets are the local 3-pin standard. To ensure you can power all your devices, we advise bringing an appropriate power adapter.

EDIT: MOVED ROOMS, ROOM 2 IS JUST AS BAD! stay away from this hotel (if you can call it that, its a apartment block that ramada are just piggy backing off) ONE OF THE WORST ROOMS IVE BEEN IN. COLD SHOWERS NO AIRCON IN BEDROOM Horrible room, on the east side so every morning the sun beams the bedroom and the curtains dont stop any light. Even worse is that there is no aircon in the bedroom nor a fan. They give you a dirty, bent and rusty stand fan to use. Horrible pillows too, flat as a box. The reception ladies dont speak English well and were not very nice. Not coming back here, it sucks Good location though
