The location was excellent. Very close to beach, bars and shops and the view from the balcony was lovely. Unfortunately that’s where it stopped, for the price of the rooms they were quite disappointing. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, the carpets were very dirty and stained, the foyer and room smelt like cigarettes (even our clothes came home smelling of smoke). Only one of the single beds got made up the other left completely messy. There was no aircon in either bedrooms only in the main living area which didn’t cool the rooms.
This hotel needs some improvement.

From the outset this was a very poor experience. |On arrival the receptionist was rude and there appeared to be a significant language barrier. She had no patience with her new guests on our arrival.||Our floor was covered in stains in the carpet as you exited the lift.||Within the apartment there was a cigarette type odour, the toilets (2) had no body wash within the dispenser. Some of the bedroom side lights didn’t work. The windows were filthy, both inside and out preventing what was an awesome view.||For the price we paid the standard was just not there. A global company providing an alleged quality stay was a far stretch.||Not impressed at all.

While the location of this hotel is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, bars, and restaurants, our experience was mixed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a power outage affecting the entire building. Although this was beyond the staff's control, it was frustrating after a long journey, and we would have appreciated a heads-up beforehand, we could have delayed our arrival. The room itself could use some attention. It wasn’t as clean as we had hoped, with the A/C emitting a musty smell. By the end of our stay, I developed some nasal congestion (something that’s very rare for me). Additionally, the lounge had white stains, and the walls were marked and generally appeared worn and grubby. While we loved our time in Scarborough, this hotel definitely needs some TLC to match its prime location.

It might be ok if you are only looking for a place to sleep. For a special occasion, look elsewhere. I told them at booking that this was a special weekend for my daughter's birthday, but I was told ocean view rooms would be allocated at check-in. I checked in early but there were no good rooms left because of "maintenance issues". The hotel must have some good rooms, but the two allocated to me were terrible - one room with no windows at all, forget about ocean view! The other was a view of a shopping center parking lot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with the agent but by the time they discussed with the hotel my refund was processed almost immediately. Thanks for trying to fix it but rather be honest with the client and charge according to the room. That one without windows shouldn't even be called a room - make it available for free to store luggage or something, whatever, just never try to dump a paying guest in it again!

Great spacious 2 bed apartment with ocean views, lovely balcony for watching the sunsets, plenty of bars/ restaurants in walking distance as well as the ocean and public pool. ||The kitchen was fully equipped, loved having a dishwasher. would recommend to families and couples

We were a bit off put by the reviews before arriving, however in general, it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Staff were friendly enough, however one of the ladies at the front desk was quite rude to us when we arrived and asked to check in (it was 7am, we didn’t realise we had to check in at 2pm so she was obviously very pissed that we came too early). Our room had an amazing view of Scarborough beach, although wear and tear was very noticeable and despite the hotel’s relatively young age, many parts of our room especially the carpet were in rough condition. I found it a bit weird how there was no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms though. Cleaning was OK, the housekeepers came in every day to make the beds and empty the trash but not much else.
I gave this 3 stars as I am quite concerned about the maintenance of the lifts, especially lift 2. We noticed “E02” or something similar appear on the screen very often while waiting for it, and we got stuck in Lift 2 for almost an hour (this has never happened to us at any other place before- was my first time getting stuck). Overall though, decent hotel/serviced apartments, great location, and relatively good service. I would recommend this for the location and convenience, but nothing special about the rooms.

Location is quite good, close to the beach, and the room space is good and very enjoyable. But we got an electric power accident, which the whole block is in dark from a night, and still out of power on the next morning, which actually impacted our travel experience, however, the hotel is really accountable and refund for the night!

We booked a 3 bedroom appartment.. Description of the appartment advised individually controlled temperature...The main bedroom had an air-conditioner, the second and third bedroom had wonky pedestal fans... Third bedroom window didn't open either...these rooms were very hot (temperature during stay was around 40 degrees)
Just be honest in your room descriptions... No air-conditioning in summer is unacceptable.
Other than that location was great and service very good also
