The location was fantastic. The apartment shares floors with live in residence, you exit the Lift and were welcomed with an aromatic distinctive smell. The room was nice enough it was well lived in, with visible cracks in the paint and grubby marks on the wall. The guest services were fantastic. Besides it looking very lived in! It was great! On the expensive side for what you get.

Room36, 2 bedroom business suite on level 5 had good views, balcony was great and big. Location was good, great walking distance to beach and local shops and restaurants. Peaceful and quiet during our stay. Night markets were on with food trucks so that was a bonus. Our only downfall was that the carpets were very soiled and in need of cleaning and the carpets outside room were dirty too.

The room we booked was one of the 3 bed split levels apartment. The price was very high. Unreasonably more expensive place than many lovely places we stayed around the world. No pool and very small gym. No common facilities. Don't bee fool with the image of a larger gym and roof terrace. That's for the residents. After I have asked what constitutes as the resident ( we stayed 10 days) the receptionist did not know. In a nutshell: place need a really good cleaning. It was filthy. There is a significant evidence of the poor maintenance. Chipped flooring. Permanent stains all over walls, floors. But there are uncleaned surfaces everywhere. Toilets, kitchen, bedrooms. There were hairs on the floor and accumulated multi-layered dust everywhere. The very first day we had reported it and they have sent someone to clean. It was only somewhat better. We actually asked for a mop.Other people we knew staying in this place shared the same concerns for the unclean rooms. Washed glassware was shockingly dirty and found hair amongst the plates. Over the Good Friday and Easter Sunday - no room services provide. That's ok, but please leave some towels, coffee pods for those days. Guys - for the price you are charging - This is NOT good.

If I could give zero stars I would. My partner and I stayed here for our two year anniversary. The first room we were placed in had a view of the apartments across the road and an air conditioning unit that made the most obnoxious noise. We had no other option but to ask to move rooms. In the second room, when it came to have a shower, the water was freezing cold. After calling reception, at 8:55pm, the lady said to “turn off the hot water system and wait 5 minutes.” After waiting, still no hot water, we tried to call her back but of course reception closed. (All part of her plan, if you ask me). We were forced to take a cold shower at night and in the morning in the middle of winter. First world problems I know, but when you pay over $200 for a night stay at a ‘nice’ hotel you would at least expect a hot shower. Don’t bother going here, waste of money!!

Everything was ok. Pleasant experience checking in.Booked 2 nights for One Bedroom Business Queen which stated comes with 1 Queen and 1 Sofa Bed. We used the sofa bed as well as the heater was direct to it as we are chilling watching TV.The next day we were informed that there will be charges of $50 per night as the housekeeper found out that we use the sofa bed. This should be communicated earlier as there will be extra charge for using the sofa bed, else please don't state 1 Queen Bed and 1 Sofa Bed as part of the offering.Parking is limited. Can park by the roadside but please be precaution as it is very steep road.

Walking distance to beach, bars and excellent swimming pool.||Easy access from Hillarys (North) to Fremantle (South), Perth CBD & airport.||Average age of beachgoers here is between 15 and 25, so perhaps not for young families.

Staying in the Penthouse (room 58) for the third year in a row, and it's disappointing that the roof above the balcony is still broken (for the 3rd year running). Admittedly the wind howls through this area and has been very noisy each year (and obviously destructive to the roof) which can not be controlled, but the roof and various parts of this damaged ceiling flap in the wind and can be quite noisy making it hard to fall asleep. Besides this, the hotel is wonderful with great beach views, except for the single elevator sometimes taking a while to arrive. I did ask reception when they gave me the keys if it was the room with the broken balcony roof and they said it wasn't.

Expeced better from a Ramada. Very basic accommodation. Parking on arrival was a nightmare. We managed to get the last park in the top visitors parking so we could check in and get our Swipe card for access to our basement parking. More information on where to go on arrival in the confirmation email would have been handy.
