Rambagh Mahal

In April 2025, I had the privilege of performing the Bratabandha ceremony of my three sons at Rambagh Mahal, and the experience was truly spectacular. From the very beginning, the entire team made us feel more like family and friends than service providers. Their warmth, care and attention made the day unforgettable. The venue itself was stunning, and every guest thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, hospitality and celebration. What stood out most was the food; since it was a puja, we opted for a fully vegetarian menu as per our elders’ belief. While non-veg at Rambagh Mahal is always excellent, the vegetarian dishes on that day were beyond expectations absolutely delicious and appreciated by every single guest. I sincerely thank the entire Rambagh Mahal team for making this sacred occasion so joyous and memorable and a special thanks to Khusbu Ji for just being so genuine, graceful and supportive throughout.

Good ambience with good restoration and preservation of the old house, good food but poor management. Staff seem unmotivated and work division is like everything. Car parking is usually enough but bike or scooter parking place is terrible. Running water and dripping water, used and unused gas cylinders and chaotic looking arrangement- I wish not to go to that parking area. Lot of space and the place usually have 2 different events.

I attended my friend’s wedding at the venue. The interior was good, but the food quality was very poor. There was another wedding happening upstairs, and guests from that hall kept coming to our side and eating our food. We complained to the manager, but no action was taken. The owner should train their manager better and improve overall management, especially when handling multiple events.

This venue is perfect for social and culutral events. The exterior and interior replicates a classical royal palace. They have spacious banquet halls which can accomodate above 500 pax. The outdoor space too is enough to accomodate some exhibition. They might have a cozy parking space in their premise as compared to the banquet hall's capacity.

We needed to host an event on Christmas Day. Hyatt and Marriott, where we have preciously held events, were fully booked. When we saw that every global chain was booked, we were a little anxious. We looked into Rambagh because it was close to the house, but since it was a recent establishment and not a global brand, it had us hesitant to go with them. However, we are glad to have discovered this gem. The level of customer care at Rambagh was on par with hotels with well-known international names. In the future, we will undoubtedly suggest this place. All of the staff members were kind, respectful and attentive. A special thanks goes out to Dipendra Ji for keeping his word and going above and beyond. The guests left admiring the architecture and loving the food. We left with a sense of accomplishment. Thank you all of you for the wonderful and smooth event.

The place is grand. It has been beautifully built even though most of the architecture is 3D prints and not real structures. The place is clean and has good space both indoors and outdoors. The washrooms are also kept clean. I am not a big fan of food here. Considering the grandness of the place, the food is just average. It doesn't have AC as the upper portion of the hall has open spaces so isn't a very suitable place for summer. Having said that, it has plenty of good photo spots.

Rambagh Mahal in Lalitpur (Located between Bhuwani mandal and British School) is a luxurious party palace, perfect for weddings and grand events. With elegant architecture, spacious halls, and well-kept lawns, it offers a regal ambiance. The staff is professional, and the services are excellent, making it a top choice for unforgettable celebrations.

Best party palace with Royal touch of interiors and decorations but keeping DJ and music in Dining area was complete turnoff . Snack serving staffs were not enough . Guests were served half cooked food last Thursday , may be due to overwhelming crowd .
