The food was delicious, and the service was very good, but there are a few things to comment on.
First, the place had no air con, just a bunch of fans placed around the room which is not ideal when it’s 40°C outside.
Second, when going to the bathroom, beware, as one of the stalls had no toilet paper, and out of the two sinks there were one had no water and the other no soap, which complicates washing your hands. I will however not deny that aside from that the toilets were very clean.
It is also unfortunately not possible to take away whatever you don’t finish. It’s the house policy. When asked why, the (presumed) owner of the restaurant kindly explained that it was because he’d seen a study that said about 85% of takeaway food was thrown away. While that may well have been true, I personally think that the client should be able to do whatever they want with what they paid for, especially when you’re paying €30-40 per menu per person, which isn’t particularly cheap. For the sake of fairness I must add that while you aren’t able to take away, you can stay at your table the whole afternoon if need be.
On a more positive side, the food came quick, and the servers are happy to help in any way they can
