Ramen Kai Noodle House

It's my first time eating here; just passing through for work. Order and pay from the cashier then wait for the food; no table service. Ramen was nice, I got the full size Miyagi ramen dine in and half size Miyagi ToGo The full size really filled me up lol. Ordered bobba but they ran out of bobba, but luckily the food was great. Good portions, nice soup (tasted great), perfectly cooked and seasoned pork, the egg was a little over cooked for ramen but the egg was perfectly seasoned which is a plus. The ToGo packaging was very neat, they separate the soup with the noodle and all stuff that comes with it. Can't wait to go back and try something different on the menu.

The noodles were excellent, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. However, the drink selection left much to be desired. The options were either too limited or didn't complement the meal well. A wider variety of beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices, would greatly enhance the dining experience. The atmosphere is out of the ordinary. The atmosphere is different and satisfying. Service was a 3 star since the waitress wasn't present to be seated, get menu, and take our order. Cashier had to sit us, provide with menu and take our order. Overall, while the food was impressive, the drinks need significant improvement to match the quality of the noodles.

Hands down best ramen in town. Everything on the menu is great but the star of the show is the ramen. It's a decent serving of noodles and broth, just about enough to satisfy most people. Their menu is very focused with little options to choose from but, I have not ordered something I haven't liked. The only real issue (small one at that) is their selection of drinks as there really isn't anything to choose from aside from whatever is available that day.

Got Food to go so I cannot tell you about service or atmosphere but the food was absolutely delicious. Got home and food was still piping hot. Packages perfectly. The tofu ramen was delicious! Called the Buddha and the ramen Spicy Miyagi with the pork belly I do recommend! Entrance is right before the laundromat, don’t blink or you’ll miss it.

Best ramen in Laredo hands down. Service is excellent and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Wish they would expand to a second location. Only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is the small parking space.

Great Ramen place, as starter we got the Pork Rangoons which taste great (although they have just a little of the filling but it's ok if you're going for a full ramen). As per the ramens, we ordered the Spicy Miyagi (which I do not recommend if you're not into Spicy food) as well as the Buddha one (vegan) and both were extremely good. The broth was flavorful in the two of them, also the portions were big (we went for the full dish). Love the fact that you can order either half dish or full one. The place is not so big but they have a few tables to dine in. I highly recommend this place, it's one of the best ramen places I've tried in Laredo.

Passing through Laredo for work biz and it was my first time trying this Ramen spot. Got the recommendation from a coworker . Let me start by saying I love Ramen. Ramen is my jam .It's 112 degrees here and I will want Ramen. I will always want ramen . Ramen may in fact be my life . I started with the Gyoza (pork )for a little treat then went in hot and heavy with the spicy Miyagi. The large bowl ‍. It's apparently a crowd favorite and worth it !! The ramen here was absolutely fantastic! Everything was cooked perfectly . Nothing and I mean nothing needed for this to be a completely balanced work of art. Honestly I could have had another egg and more pork belly but thats just my appetite talking. Please try this place if you're in town. Service was great and the order came out pretty quick even with a decent crowd inside . It's a little spot near the well wash laundromat. The parking situation isn't great but I'd be willing to park in the middle of the street next time just to get another bowl. Try this spot!!

We were looking for someplace to eat, so I came on yelp and searched...saw this place and figured it's been awhile since I've had ramen, let's check it out!! And boy it did not disappoint!! The spicy Miyagi bowl I had was just enough spice and super flavorful!! Every ingredient paired with the other so perfectly!! I also literally took the bowl and drank the rest of the broth like I was a child again finishing my cereal!! I would definitely go back!! And if you're in the area, you should definitely check it out!!

OMG...the pork...I think they season it with cocaine! So good!!! They braise it for 12 hours and it just falls apart. The seasoning is so good! This is coming from someone who normally could care less if there is meat in their ramen. The broth is so good and soothing. I like to get mine spicy. You can order the spicy ramen or add on to any of the others. I also like the black garlic oil that can also be added on. The owner / chef was very informative and friendly. The menu shares the story of how Ramen Kai came to be. Its a very cute story. They sell other Asian odds and ends, even fish cake earrings, so cute! It is hard to see from the street because it is on the side of the building in the back. The parking is limited. There are 2 seating areas. I have to eat here every time I am in Laredo.

The Spicy Miyagi definitely hit the spot. The quality of the dish and ingredients made it feel as though I wasn't even in Laredo. It seemed very authentic. So happy to find authentic Ramen in Laredo after being out of state for years. Location wasn't my favorite, but the food definitely makes up for it!

What can I say? This is bomb! This is so good, service is okay tho, but the food? Amazing. Ambiance is nice and quiet

The customer service here is always on point. This is also the best ramen place in town. Whatever you order here will not disappoint you. They offer a great selection of appetizers and you can completely customize your ramen bowls. I love this place

Great food we recommend Ramen Kai, amazing atmosphere and great service. The music was great great for couples or a big group. I would reccomend if your in Laredo Texas

I've been coming here every weekend since moving to Laredo the food is amazing! Plus the staff is friendly and keep the tables and floor clean!

The Miyagi ramen is so good. Spicy variation available . Osaka fries are also very good. Service is fast .

This was my first time eating at the restaurant, the food was very good bring my soup came in barely warm. The mini rice bowl with chicken was delicious as well as the tokoyaki. Also got to try both the hybrid and miyagi ramen, both were good. Cashier was very helpful when choosing the food, Service was in good timing while the place was at half capacity.

Had a spicy ramen here and it was delicious!!! I will also say the shrimp gyoza was the best I've ever had so far, they are crispy and warm! I do wish they had more drink options though. They are very limited to sodas and water. Service was good and food came out QUICK! The restaurant itself is a small space so just consider that for big groups (you can always add tables together though) We visited on a Saturday afternoon so it was pretty busy! Overall great ramen place!

The Spicy Ramen is in my opinion the best in Laredo. It is so good that I'm craving it right now!

The food is so good, it's jam packed with flavor!! The service is quick and swiftly, they bring the ramen right to you. I love the anime athletic and Japanese decorations, definitely a place worth going to for good ramen, and if your an anime nerd!!

Never had Ramen before and I'm really glad this was my first place to try it. I really do recommend the Miyagi for beginner. The service was OK. You pay at the booth and go sit down they bring you the food but they do not come and check up on you guys. Overall the restaurant has such a kickback vibe to it. Perfect for a cute date night experience.

I used to travel to Asia for work and love me some Ramen. This little restaurant definitely is up there amongst some of the best Ramen I've ever had. Trust me, you need to go eat here. What makes this place even better is the owners are super sweet and the restaurant is very, very clean. I am adding Ramen Kai as one of my favorite nosh spots in Laredo.

I like this place. Good food, generous portions. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth it! I recommend this place for a good hefty lunch!

I had to work in Laredo for a week, I was working around the area started to get hungry and checked my gps for nearby restaurants, this was one of them, the place is small but very cozy and very nicely decorated inside. The staff is friendly and the food was amazing, I haven't had ramen this good in a while. If I'm ever in the area again I'm for sure coming back!!!! Highly recommend this place good job guys.

Some of the best ramen I've ever had. The service is ok but when the owner is around she is super friendly and welcoming. Parking is definitely a problem and it can get overly packed during peak hours but regardless it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go to in town.

Excellent service, very attentive. You have to try the gaijin ramen, with spicy pork. The music is Japanese folk, and the aesthetic is welcoming. Try the mochi

If your just a casual ramen eater I would say yea try this place out but for anyone who takes ramen serious and truly loves noodles this place is no better then getting a store bought maruchen. Their noodles are super thin and the broth just tastes like hot dog water. Overall shit was mid

Ok, food was good, for sure. Parking, not so good. A bit hidden. Need to think about a better layout inside. Line gets long sometimes and goes to door. Think about online pickup to help reduce that line.

Some of the best ramen I've had the broth is so flavorful and in my opinion the best part the pork is so soft as well as the noodles there so good would definitely recommend adding so spice to your ramen
