“Bored of the classic ramen? Presenting a remix!” 🎧 Ramen x Remix takes the familiar comfort of ramen and gives it a full re-arrangement: new notes, deeper layers, unexpected drops, like a culinary DJ set. The mocktails were bright, fruity, and fun — Peach Fizz and Lychee Blossom both had that playful sparkle that set the mood right away. The Sashimi Scallop was silky and clean, and the Nanban Chicken Karaage hit like a perfect bassline — crispy, juicy, and full of rhythm. Then came the Wild Mushroom Mazesoba: earthy, umami, and rich, like a slow, mesmerizing groove where every bite gets deeper and more layered. And finally, the star of the set: the Jigoku Spicy Miso Ramen winter special. A pork + chicken broth packed with five types of miso, chunky braised pork belly, wok-fried pork + veg, house-made spicy tare, lotus root, garlic, onion, cilantro, szechuan peppercorn — this bowl was a whole anthem in itself. Spicy, complex, and absolutely unforgettable. This is ramen that doesn’t play in the background — it takes centre stage. A remix you’ll want on repeat. 🔁🔥 To hear more about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, & Facebook. ✨🤩🙏

Ramen X Remix: Where Tradition Meets Culinary Audacity! In a city saturated with solid ramen joints, it takes creativity to stand out. Ramen X Remix redefines the genre. This an excellent culinary workshop that respects the foundation of Japanese noodle craft while exploring new global flavors. For anyone looking for a ramen experience that is both deeply comforting and surprisingly exciting, this spot is a must-visit. The heart of any great ramen is its broth, and Remix executes this perfectly. We tried the signature "Umami Bomb Shoyu," a broth rich and layered it felt less like a soup and more like a velvet curtain draped over your palate. The time and dedication involved in its preparation are evident in every spoonful. The noodles are equally impressive—toothsome, springy, and perfectly calibrated to cling to the robust broth. The "Remix" element shines through in their daring, yet balanced, toppings. Forget standard slices of chashu; here, you'll find tender Smoked Duck Breast, savory Pickled Shiitake Mushrooms, or even a dollop of intensely flavorful Calabrian Chili Paste. These unexpected components don't detract from the ramen experience; they elevate it, providing fascinating textural and flavor contrasts that keep you engaged until the bowl is empty. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is vibrant, modern, and suited for the innovative menu. The service is prompt and the staff enthusiastic about guiding diners through the menu's more unconventional pairings. Ramen X Remix is more than just a meal; it's a destination that reminds you why simple food, when executed with passion and ingenuity, is the best food. Highly recommended.

Decent food, very trendy ramen shop. Was upsold the consommé but my friend had the paitan and it was better than the consommé. There is a little bit of biased since I am more of a creamy Hakata ramen kind of person. Nevertheless, the taste is good and overall was a decent experience. Nice that they give half noodle refill for free and the atmosphere is pretty good if you were to go on a date or something.

First off, I found this ramen place online and I was intrigued by the quality of the website. I know that seeing a great website does not translate to experiencing great food. Once I saw the ingredients like the sushi grade scallops, I had to try this location. The decor of the restaurant matched the quality of the website. Now, for the food. I ordered their signature ramen. Signature Yuzu Scallop Shio consommé. First, when the server brought the ramen it looked just like it was straight out of the website. The noodles were arranged all aligned in a row and neatly placed on one side of the bowl. What also surprised me was the ladle was not your typical plastic one but this one was made of ceramic and heavy. It’s the same as when you enjoy a great steak dinner using real silverware compared to a plastic knife and fork. The broth was a real joy to experience. The chicken and seafood broth was very light, full of flavour and not oily at all. Yes, I did see oil in the broth but the oil was tasty and light. The ramen came with a sushi grade scallop, pork and chicken cha shu, two shrimp and pork dumplings, clam, menma, chopped onions, thinly sliced green onion strips, and thin crispy strips on top. I would say this is the best ramen I have had all year hands down. The quality ingredients and attention to detail is top notch. Ramen Remix will certainly be one of the first locations I will return to for an update review. I also enjoyed the tako wasabi. The seaweed this dish came with was dark green and not your typical black seaweed. Dark green is usually higher in quality. The seaweed was tasty and very crispy. Ramen Remix is a great spot to check out if you are looking for great atmosphere, large selection of appetizers, a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks besides the main ramen dishes.

Edit: have been here 4x, pictures reflect multiple visits Having tried 20+ ramen restaurants in Toronto, and several in Tokyo, I can safely say this is THE best ramen joint in Toronto and can hold its own against some of the more modern ramen restaurants in Tokyo. So much so that I'm not even going to try the next few places on my list, in favour of coming back here and trying some of their other signature ramens. The yuzu scallop shio consomme looks like an absolute piece of art. The ramen components are exceptionally prepared, and come together beautifully in a perfect bowl of soup, noodles, and toppings. Everything is prepared in house, and it really comes across in both taste and presentation. It is a beautiful bowl they embodies what ramen should be. For the price is barely more expensive than Kinton Ramen, which really goes to show how accessible this is. Their signature broths are delicious; flavourful and full of umami. We had both the yuzu scallop shio paitan and the truffle shoyu consomme. Shoyu is my favourite ramen base, and this broth was so addicting. The yuzu scallop base is a tonkatsu broth but the citrus really helped cut through the richness, allowing you to slurp down the entire bowl without it feeling too heavy. Noodle quality is very good; perfectly springy and chewy, making it a satisfying slurp. They also give you a free refill of a half bowl of noodles; not customary at all and very appreciated. The chasu was also delicious; they provided both chicken and pork. Unlike other cuts of chasu, these slices were the perfect portion size. Not too thick, and overly fatty. For appetizers, we had both the scallop sashimi, and guytan. Scallops were so fresh and the gyutan was perfectly grilled for thag beefy taste. We also had the seasonal Curacao drink, and it was aesthetic and delicious. It came with gummy goldfish, which added both a interesting look and great citrus flavour. For dessert, we had their almond tofu. It tasted almost like vanilla bean ice cream. Sooo creamy and not overly sweet. Perfect way to end a meal.

I tried both the Yuzu Scallop Shio Consommé (clear broth) and the Truffle Shoyu Paitan (milky white broth), and honestly - they're both the best ramen broths I've had in the city. Each one had its own unique flavor profile and was incredibly rich without being overwhelming. They also offer a one-time free noodle refill, which is a great perk, though the original portion was already super filling for me. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill, perfect for casual meals or even a late-night drink spot with friends. Highly recommend going if you're a ramen lover (like me hehe). 8 out of 10. Hung Hung

Google
The ramens were very unique in flavor. I got the Signature Yuzu Scallop Shio and my bf got the Truffle shoyu. We also got the gyoza. I thought the webbing of the gyoza was a little burnt but the flavor was perfect. The portions were great and would highly recommend this place but parking is terrible.

Walked by the restaurant with no expectation. Surprisingly the ramen was very good! Rich and great noodle texture. Prices are more on the expensive end but the atmosphere and food were on point.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this ramen spot! The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly chewy

Yelp
After having such a crappy experience at my hostel and other lukewarm customer service experience at surrounding businesses I was wondering if there were any decent businesses ( customer service wise) left in this neighborhood . I was treated like an actual customer . The people who worked there were attentive and actually care about the guest experience . Food and decor was also amazing . Best Kaarage I ever had ! One of the most aesthetically pleasing washrooms . Although I am pretty full....I am tempted to comeback the same day ....this evening to try their Ramen before I head to the airport.

Yelp
I think this might be my new favourite ramen spot, especially cuz they have Chicken ramen which is much lighter. I've been searching for once since I first tried a place in Japan and have not had any luck until now Came here on a friday night, and reserved for 2 people for a special occasion. Really loved everything about this place. Food, ambiance, and service were all really great! Ordered the Karage, Signature Yuzu Scallop Shio Ramen ( dragon noodles, black garlic oil, and less stalty) , and Signature Truffle Shoyu. They were nice enough to give us a Caramel Pudding to celebrate our special occasion. All really hit the spot for us . And the half portion of noodle refills was also really nice Would 100% be back again! And would love to come back again to try their croquettes since they ran out this time

Yelp
It's hard not to be intrigued by a ramen joint with a name like Ramen x Remix, so obviously we had to stop in and check the place out. A quick perusal of the menu led me straight to the Spicy Wok Magic Miso Soup ("Rich chicken pork bone broth, spicy pork miso, pork chashu, wok fried veggies, chili aroma oil, sichuan peppercorn, black garlic oil, onions"). When it arrived a little while later, I was pretty much blown away by the presentation. Like, this was a picture perfect example of a bowl of ramen. It looked incredible. I was worried it might not taste as good as it looked, but I needn't have been concerned. It was so, so good. All the flavors worked perfectly together and the ingredients all seemed way above average. I enjoyed every single bite and I even found myself discovering new dimensions with each mouthful. The spice level was right on point, too. I would say that this dish ranks among the very best bowls of ramen in the city. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
The ramen restaurant itself is really pretty and very clean. The seating is nice, and there are closet racks with plenty of space to hang jackets. The bathroom itself is clean too and there was no wait time as we arrived at 2pm. I got the truffle shout paitan ramen, and it was really good because it wasn't too heavy in flavor. I tried a few bites of the yuzu ramen, and it was a really good combination. I would definitely come back and try that as a whole bowl.

Yelp
I came here with my boyfriend on a Friday night. It wasn't very busy, and we were seated immediately. There's not many options if you have a seafood allergy, but he got the miso soup ramen with garlic and I got the truffle shoyu paitan. It was a good ramen, lot of toppings, and we could get black garlic oil or chili oil on the side. However one of the pieces of meat had something like a bone or a really hard piece of tendon in it, had to spit it out. I also had the lychee blossom elixir, and it tasted a like soap, but in a refreshing way. Service was good, the servers came to check on us a couple times. The restaurant has some cool decorations too.

Yelp
I really like this place! They've got a creative way of making ramen-- absolutely essential in this part of town, where ramen restaurants are on every block. Next time, I'll try the regular noodles though; the other ones were a bit too thick for me. The interior is bright and inviting, and the staff are very nice. Recommended for sure!

Yelp
Their ramen was really good. I saw some pictures online and decided to come try. The broth was very good I loved how it was light and not oily at all, I was able to drink all the soup. It was also nice how they give a variety of different meats in each bowl. Service was good and interior was nice and clean. Would recommend!

Yelp
Fantastic ramen at this new spot in Queen West! There's no shortage of decent ramen joints in the hood, and a few years ago I compared all that were within a 15-minute walk from home for me. This new one compares very well! The menu is still in the soft opening stage at this point but offers some interesting combos I haven't seen anywhere else. Go check it out at your earliest opportunity and let's hear from you in the reviews here on Yelp. I was in love instantly as the spoon hit my mouth with the fantastic broth which was in the signature ramen, a lighter version. And I like a deep flavourful port broth normally so I was skeptical but wow, this had an incredible flavour so all you ramen heads will love it I'm sure! Beautiful interior and bar looks quite inviting although you need to wait until after 5pm currently for it to open but looks worthwhile. Friendly service from Amber who wanted to know all my fave spots to eat in the hood, and a lot of fun to chat with. This is a little more upscale than some of the other spots which are more diner-like, with a beautiful bar, it's more suited to the Queen West vibe. Welcome to the neighbourhood Remix! Cheers!!

Yelp
Over all their ramen is very clean. Most of the ramen comes with 1 chard charshu and 1 sous vide charshu. Their broth is very well made from pork and chicken. The shope is very modern designed clean looking. Staff are friendly but when it busy it takes a little time for them to get to you. Signature Yuzu Scallop Shio Consommé - broth is super clean and the scallop was Wild Mushroom Creamy Mazesoba Spicy Wok Magic Miso Soup Chicken Karaage Complimentary half portion Noodle refill and chili oil , black garlic oil They have 2 types of ramen to pick from regular and curly dragon noodles aka more of a bite. I like the curly one as i like my noodles to hold broth

Yelp
Ramen x Remix was so good! I got the wild mushroom creamy mazesoba, and it was delicious - so much umami, creaminess, and flavor. Mazesoba is one of my favorite dishes, so I was very impressed. The plating is also beautiful. They also gave chili oil and garlic oil on the side, which enhanced the dish.

Yelp
Probably one of my new favourite ramen spots in the city! Been here twice already in the short time they've been open. The service is always friendly and the food is super delicious. You can tell that they put lots of effort into each dish and that each ingredient has been carefully selected. The restaurant is small but it still seats a good amount of people and the wait usually isn't long!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing place to have a good bowl of ramen! There are only a few tables available to seat, but there is also a bar area available. We came in on a Sunday noon 1PM and it was practically empty, however might have been affected by the rain. The menu is a little limited, but you know they've perfected their craft if the menus are short, haha. I ordered the Signature Yuzu Scallop Shio Consommé. The wait was a little longer than normal ramen places but trust me it is worth the time. The moment the bowl was brought in front of me, I immediately noticed how clear the broth was. It might seem very mild. I took my first sip and it was an atomic bomb in my mouth. The taste is very light but the umami was very strong with a hint of lemon. The toppings are all very delicious, my favourite must be the chicken breast. My god, I've never had chicken breast this tender, it tasted similar to Chinese scallion oil chicken which is a plus. Definitely recommend trying out this ramen bar. It's not often you find ramen places that make their ramen light but still tasty.

Yelp
Stopped in when visiting Toronto and it was fantastic! Their menu features a unique twist on traditional ramen flavors with the ability to customize noodle texture & shape and broth saltiness. I decided on the Spicy Wok Magic Miso Soup which had the perfect amount of spice. The pork chashu was so delicate and flavorful, the best I've had in ramen! I usually don't try new restaurants until there are more reviews, but I was drawn in by the ambience of Ramen x Remix when I peaked in the window. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are in the mood for some good ramen.

Aidan S.

Yelp
The ramen was the best I've had in a long while and the vibe of the restaurant was quite laid back.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Pretty good spot. Cool vibes and intimate setting, service a little slow and limited menu but great ramen, gyoza, edamame.

Robin C.

Yelp
Amazing Ramen!! And even better customer service! Will definitely be back. Thank you!!
