Fantastic hotel in peaceful location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with Comino and Gozo a short ferry ride across the shore. Sea salt swimming pools, clean and hygienic, loved the sunbeds situated on the rocks and a small beach. The food was amazing in both restaurants and certainly get your money’s worth. We stayed on a B&B basis but would certainly include dinner next time, well worth it to save money. |We stayed in a twin suite sea view and what a spectacular view and room-so spacious and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Very accommodating when asked if they could a surprise birthday cake for my daughter-cake was delicious! |It is a quiet area away from the main town but so easy to travel out either by hire car, bolt or public bus. The bus stop is a short walk and literally takes 5-10 mins into Mellieha and 20 mins to St Paul’s bay. |There were some building works still going on but did not distrupt any of the guest experience and can’t wait to see the finish! |The only room for improvement would be the spa area, the swimming pool was a bit grubby and could do with being refurbed. ||Will definitely stay again!

Bit confused as to why there are any bad reviews on here...they certainly weren't staying at this hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect! All the staff were helpful and friendly and we received a wonderful warm welcome. We had 6 nights in a Deluxe room with private balcony and stunning views looking over to Comino and Gozo. The room was cleaned daily and toiletries were replenished and for a very small fee, we had our mini fridge stocked full with still & sparkling water, lager, wine, orange. There were also tea & coffee making facilities and we also had the luxury of slippers and robes. The bed was super comfy and so big! We were very well catered for with so many wonderful choices of excellent food for breakfast and dinner. We went half board and found the evening restaurants to be very reasonably priced. The pools were lovely and there was never any difficulty in finding a sunbed and quiet spot to relax in. Drinks at the pool side bar were reasonably priced and there was always service with a smile. The hotel had a brilliant little shop which sold everything from drinks & snacks to sun hats, souvenirs and jewellery. |I had a Japanese massage in the Wellbeing Spa which was absolute heaven, I was treated like royalty and 3 days on I still feel totally relaxed from it. |Getting around was very easy with taxis and shuttle buses picking us up right at the door and the drivers were all so friendly. |Arranging trips was so easy and we recommend a trip over to Gozo and also into Valletta. The ferry, taxis and shuttle buses were not expensive at all!|A part of the hotel is still under construction but we never saw or heard any disruption. |We can't thank the wonderful staff enough for making our holiday one of the best we've ever had. We will definitely be going back to Ramla Bay Resort! 😀

We had a lovely 10 days in this hotel. Our room was beautiful.staff were lovely Unfortunately the area around has nothing going for it. No shops or restaurants. Bus stop is a walk through construction work going on Pool area was very nice too. I do think they could have separated the smoking area from around the pool though.

The staff here are fantastic. Very polite and very helpful. The food is lovely and the hotel is lovely and clean. Yes it’s abit out the way and would need to get a bolt or something to go places but to be honest it’s not that expensive to do that. Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff really made it.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The dining was exceptional, superb even, with standout vegan options that impressed us. The staff were particularly warm, courteous, and helpful—the kindest people we met on the island. We stayed in the SeaView Suite, which offered plenty of space, and everything was clean and comfortable.||There were three pools, and the beachfront location was fantastic—calm water, beautiful views, and never crowded at either the pool or the beach. We always managed to find a good spot. The on-site minimarket was convenient for stocking up on essentials during our stay. Additionally, excursions to Comino and Gozo could be booked directly at the hotel.||Although the construction site was not yet finished, it was never disruptive, with noise kept to a minimum. ||Everything was easily reachable by bus. We liked the north of the island best, so we are very grateful to have found and chosen this hotel. ||We were absolutely satisfied and could not fault the experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel, facilities, and staff are amazing however slightly too far out of town for us. A substantial amount of guests staying at the hotel were between 20 - 30. They were in big groups and really let the whole experience down. I used the facilities near the pool and multiple females were taking drugs in the cubicles. We have been out for most of our visit as that's not what we want to be around. Its a real shame as this resort really is amazing! Everywhere is immaculate, new and the staff are great!

Beautiful, stunning views. Clean and hygienic. All restaurants were fantastic and the pools were brilliant. Spa was a great addition and able to arrange a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon. Currently has ongoing construction work but really didn’t interfere with anything. Will go again.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Riviera Spa Resort From the moment we arrived at Riviera Spa Resort, it was clear that this was going to be an experience to remember. What sets this resort apart isn’t just its beautiful setting and facilities, but the incredible people who make every guest feel valued, relaxed, and truly cared for. Staff & Management The warmth of the staff and attentiveness of the management team made our stay exceptional. Everyone, from reception to the restaurants to the beach, went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. A special mention goes to the management drinks gathering, where we had the pleasure of meeting the GM and some of his team. Their openness and genuine interest in guest feedback showed just how much pride they take in creating a five-star experience. Dining Highlights Food lovers are spoiled for choice at Riviera Spa Resort. Mirasol offers a buffet that’s not just plentiful but carefully curated, with a range of international and local dishes. Every meal felt like a feast, and the presentation made it even more enjoyable. The Osteria brings authentic Italian flavours to the table – fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and a wine list that perfectly complements the menu. Dining here felt like being transported straight to Italy. At Byblos, we enjoyed Lebanese specialties that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The mezze, grilled meats, and desserts were a true highlight of our stay. Bars & Entertainment The Lobby Bar is the heart of the resort – chic yet cozy, with a fantastic atmosphere. Evenings here were made extra special by the live entertainment. Pierre and Norbert were incredible, performing timeless classics with such passion and talent that they quickly became a highlight of our nights. Special Mentions Kamila, the “Minister of Happiness,” deserves every bit of her unique title. Her energy, positivity, and ability to connect with guests added something truly magical to the resort. She is a one-of-a-kind presence. At Hola Beach, Vinay stands out as a true master of service and care. His attentiveness and genuine warmth ensured we felt perfectly looked after while enjoying the sun and sea. Jomar at reception was outstanding – friendly, efficient, and always ready to help with any query, big or small. Overall Experience Every element of Riviera Spa Resort comes together to create a holiday that is not only relaxing but also memorable in the best possible way. The resort combines luxurious facilities with world-class service, but it’s the people – from management to staff – who elevate the experience into something unforgettable. This was not just a great break; it was the kind of stay we’ll be talking about for a long time to come. Riviera Spa Resort is a place we’ll return to without hesitation.
