Ramla Bay Resort

Great place to stay with children! This resort is perfect for families, especially when the weather isn’t ideal for exploring. The warm indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and cozy gym offer plenty of ways to relax and stay active without leaving the hotel. The location is also very convenient — the port to Gozo is nearby, and small ferries to Comino are just a 5-minute walk away, making island trips easy and fun. While it’s a bit farther from some major attractions, the peaceful surroundings and excellent facilities more than make up for it. Overall, a comfortable, family-friendly stay with great amenities and easy access to beautiful island adventures.

The hotel was spotless, and our rooms were very spacious, including one that was wheelchair accessible since my mom uses a wheelchair. They were so nice and comfortable. The hotel is huge and the staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The restaurants are modern and have a warm atmosphere, so you can enjoy both the buffet and a la carte menus from different restaurants. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were quite crowded, but I learned that a second indoor pool will open later this year. The outdoor pools are stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Comino and Gozo islands. Peaceful countryside walks to Armier are an asset, and I highly recommend booking this hotel.

Such a lovely experience at this hotel. Staff lovely. There is construction going on but it is a fabulous hotel. Great location (20min walk) to port for blue lagoon, comino and gozo. €10 taxi to popeyes. Bus stop 10min walk away and beach not far. Indoor spa pool gets crazy busy at times especially with kids so I don't know if I'd recommend to couples alone but for families in January it was excellent. There is a small play room for kids which is not manned, so again it gets a bit crazy. We actually haven't had nicer food anywhere in Malta compared to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the al a carte restaurant is amazing. Great vegetarian options and gluten free too. Would love to visit in summer when outdoors is open.

The hotel complex is beautifully designed and well maintained, offering great sea views from every room. Free parking is a nice bonus, and the dive center directly at the resort is excellent. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there are quite a few areas that could be improved. Breakfast lacked variety and selection, and the lady at the omelette station was soooo unfriendly (and the omelette didn’t taste good). The indoor pool is supposed to be an “18+ silent area,” but no one seems to monitor that — it was noisy, kids were jumping in from the pool edge, and there was no sense of relaxation at all. I also had to go to the reception three times to get an extra blanket. Our apartment was spacious, but one of the two rooms was completely empty with no furniture at all. The outdoor pools were very cold, and the pool bar drinks were quite average. On top of that, there were never any towels available at the pool — I asked four times in one day and never received any. Additionally, there was construction noise during our stay because the hotel is currently being expanded. Overall, it’s a solid resort with a beautiful location and potential — but at the moment, there’s a clear need for better organization, service consistency, and attention to detail. We wouldn’t come back.

Our stay was fantastic . Impeccable decorated at high standard. Spotless rooms , friendly staff and very helpful.Exquisite food. Excellent. Memorable experience. The only complaint I would like to raise is the layout of toilet and showers but it is already planned so cannot be altered. Not practable and no privacy. But above all it was outstanding and impeccable. Keep it up! Thanks

The stay was amazing. Rooms are very clean and the food is really good. Just one recommendation.During our stay we realized that the hotel is pet friendly. I do not mind animals, however I think it would be much better if there would be a pet friendly section in the restaurant, as well as a rooms dedicated for those who have a pet with them, maybe a block or floor. My husband is allergic to cats and if the previous guests who stayed in our room had one, it would trigger his allergies. I hope that they take this into consideration.

Ramla Bay is in a stunning location with sunsets and sunrises right outside your window. We completely forgot to write a review in August and only remembered now lol! We stayed during the 20th to the 28th it’s so beautiful. The buffet in the morning does lack a little bit but at the end of the day it’s like any other hotel. The staff are really friendly and nice. We stayed on the 5 or 6th floor can’t really remember but they were the new renovated ones and they were stunning! The pools were lovely too and the private beach is easily accessible! There is one downside at there is no night entertainment but we kept ourselves occupied! Always clean and the atmosphere was lovely. I will be coming back in a few years to see the renovations finished. PSA. We heard no construction noises during our stay! The only downside is that it’s very far from the main attractions but you can just catch a bus that will take around half an hour and take you around town ! 🫶🏾

Enjoyable stay.excellent hospitality and friendly staff. Service was impeccable. Thanks for making our visit with warm welcome . Rooms were comfortable although mattresses were not that much. The view was serene. I would like to complaint regarding the privacy of the bathroom because there was no door and also the bread was always stale. On the whole , our stay was stunning. Thanks
