Enjoyed our stay in Daroma! A very modern hotel, the design is beautiful. The rooms are perfect, and the food was tasty. Lot's of Gluten free options, the chef helped me with gluten free food. The swimming pool and the sauna were nice and clean. Overall great experience, definitely recommended for a nice weekend in the desert.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s well-preserved, modern, stylish, and wonderfully quiet. The number of elevators adds a real sense of privacy, and the view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast was exceptionally delicious — truly one of the highlights. To be honest, I was a bit concerned before arriving because of some of the reviews I had read. But as an experienced traveler, with stays ranging from luxury resorts to tiny family-run B&Bs, I can confidently say that Daroma stands out. Comparing it with our experiences across Israel — in Tel Aviv, Eilat, and other well-known (and very expensive) hotels — Daroma is far better in every meaningful way. I don’t need a massive room for a short stay; I need comfort, quality, and thoughtful design. And this hotel delivers exactly that. A genuinely pleasant surprise and a place I would gladly return to. We are differently going to return!

We celebrated a week in honor of our anniversary at the Isrotel Hotel chain. For the weekend we went to "Droma", the new incarnation of the legendary "Ramon Inn" was amazing, modern and meticulously designed and embraces the desert from the outside and inside in every detail like we loved at the prestigious "Bereshit" hotel nearby. They brought nature inside. They added full accessibility (elevators). They kept the amazing fireplace in the lobby and the lovely indoor pool. The service and food didn't disappoint either. A rich menu with varied main courses and lots of salads. Everything was fresh and delicious. (If I missed the Bedouin table of za'atar pitas, labneh and fava that was served at the inn) Thanks to Sivan and all the staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

A decent hotel, located in the center of Mitzpe Ramon, in what appears to be a former apartment block. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Covered pool is nice, but fitness room is small and minimal. There is not room service in this hotel. The worst part of the experience was the strong smell of sewage, starting from the early morning. When we complained, it was evident that this is a recurring phenomenon. It continued until we checked out.

Beautiful hotel! Very nice design, small but cozy rooms. Everything is very clean. The shower in the room is incredibly nice. The bed was a bit hard for me. Delicious varied breakfast, clean pool and very comfortable sunbeds on the terrace. Friendly staff. I would love to come back here again

The hotel has undergone a renovation, the building has been renovated and the service has improved even more than before. The hotel's location is excellent for trips to the Ramon Crater area.

Updated Review – From 1 Star to 4 Stars During the first days of our stay, we encountered several issues with staff professionalism, room maintenance, and service quality. Initially, our experience felt far from the 5-star standard advertised, and we were disappointed. However, yesterday the hotel manager personally reached out to us, listened to our concerns attentively, and handled the situation with professionalism and patience. He addressed our complaints, offered fair compensation, and made us feel valued as guests. This proactive approach significantly changed our impression of the hotel. Over the past 24 hours, service improved notably, and the overall atmosphere felt much more welcoming. We are a family group of 10, occupying 4 rooms, and most of us now feel the hotel deserves 4 stars for the effort made to turn things around. That said, there is still room for improvement: rooms should be dust-free upon arrival, tissues should be replenished daily in bathrooms, and coffee and sugar supplies in the rooms should be restocked regularly. We leave today with a far better feeling than we expected just a day ago. Credit to the management for listening and acting swiftly — this transformed what could have been a disappointing trip into an enjoyable one.

Newly renovated. Now called Daroma (used to be Ramon Inn) We were a group of 2 couples. Check in was efficient and handled with a smile (they probably should have put out water and lemonade in the lobby- we arrived during an epic heatwave). Rooms are small-ish but pretty, and very comfortable. Good shower. Air-conditioner was effective despite the heat. Breakfast buffet was excellent (as in all Isratels)-- Hot and cold dishes, pizza, borekas, breads and spreads, salads, fruit, cereal etc etc. I asked for ice at the coffee corner to make iced coffee. The waiter standing there asked me what type of milk and if I wanted sugar, and told me to sit down and he would bring it. He brought me a delicious cold coffee, and then 2 more for my companions. The pool seemed pretty, and full of kids (August) but the room was very hot, so we didn't swim. There was a municipal parking lot right across the street with blue and white paid parking. Free parking could be found if one was willing to drive a little further. The hotel is on a residential street, not right next to anything interesting, but the town is small and everything is walkable, or a 2 min drive away.
