Excellent home made ice-cream shop. Excellent selection. I don’t think you can go wrong. Delicious home made waffle cones. They also offer other items like an ice cream pie. Fair prices. Delicious, highly recommend.

Ramone's serves ice cream made by The Chocolate Shoppe. It is the best ice cream you can get!! They had fresh waffle cones, and you could choose if you wanted a chocolate dipped one. Their scoop size is weighed to make sure you get a consistent amount. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you are looking for a sweet treat!

Lovely little ice cream shop in Eau Claire, with a variety of ice cream flavors and shakes or malts. I cant remember the name of the flavor I tried but it was very tasty. I will visit them again on my next trip.

Kind and attentive service. I had a single scoop of rhubarb crumble on a sugar cone, and my friend had a peanut cookie dough single on a cake cone. I would definitely come again.

The location is clean and the backyard patio is a nice place to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. This parlor has a lot of options a little bit for everyone. A few options which are dairy free. The strawberry milk shake was a little sweet for me but the cookie was a delightful plus. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and will be back.

I love pasion fruit ice cream.totally recommend It. recommend this ice cream place a lot. I like how they have gluten free too which makes it even better and easier for people who don’t eat gluten.

The homemade waffle cones are epic. The inside is a great blend of modern, simple, and classic decor. I wish their chocolate shake was made from vanilla ice cream and then add chocolate. Mine was chocolate ice cream + chocolate syrup, resulting in a taste that was just too overwhelming. The other ice cream was smooth. We'll be back again.

We stopped by Ramone's after a visit to the Children's Museum. We were parked on the same block and it was an easy walk over. It's in an older building with pretty woodwork. There are only 2 tables plus some high seating by the windows. However, there are lots of ice cream flavors and options and they make their own waffle cones. I'd come back!

This was such a cute little ice cream shop in downtown Eau Claire that was an easy walk from where I was staying. The inside smells amazing with fresh waffle cones being made around the clock. The ice cream flavors have fun names. Most of them are combinations of different flavors and mix-ins. I sampled the Mackinac island fudge, Iced Latte-Da, and banana cream pie. I ended up going with the iced latte flavor, single scoop on a sugar cone, which was about $3.94. My scoop was a little smaller than some other peoples - it looks like my flavor was particularly hard to scoop. All in all though, great ice cream stop!

Awesome flavors, too many great ones to list. Great selection of dairy free options too. Love the building and decor. Service was fast and efficient. The fresh waffle cones were so good.

I mean, it's ice cream. It didn't blow me away, but also was pretty good. I expected it to be more old-timey than what it was.

Great place to get ice cream with a lot of options. Service is almost the best I've ever experienced. I love the theme of the parlor and the location is great that you can walk downtown since there isn't much seating inside. Overall definitely recommend!

Whoa. Some seriously good ice cream. We stopped in after dinner at Stellas on the way back to our hotel. I had the Chocolate Chip with Toffee. I LOVE Chocolate Chip Ice cream and this was some of the best I've had. The toffee made it even better. My wife had a chocolate ice cream -- she loved it. Highly recommend this place if you like Ice Cream. It was super tasty.

Wow what a happening little joint in Eau Claire. There is a line out the door sometimes--for a reason! Line moves fast and the treats inside are wonderful. Great little patio out back to relax and enjoy!!

Stopped in after a bike ride. The black cherry and Oreo are top.... However that orange soda was amazing. Staff was helpful for someone not familiar with the order flow. I would recommend this for any out of town and/or out of state person like me.

Over-rated. The flavors are not full-bodied like Hagen Daz (my bench mark). Too creamy and dull flavors.

I love ice cream shops. What's not to love? Must be all the sugar rush. When you enter, you are greeted with the sweet smell. We were in town visiting friends and they immediately told us to try this place. We stop by before our flight and got our fix in. I have to say the staff is really generous on their scoops. Must visit place in town.

Drove down here recently on a Sunday afternoon while visiting for the day in Eau Claire. I had read someplace that there was a new ice cream shop in town and I wanted to experience it myself. Despite the grey, cloudy, cool weather day, the place was crowded inside with people and their kids. The ice cream/service counter was in the back so we waded our way through the frenetic swarm of kids after stopping at the freezer containing a selection of pre-packed pints of the Chocolate Shoppe brand ice cream they sell for $4.99/each. We sampled a handful of flavors before deciding on a pint of the final flavor we tried - lemon poppyseed - because we imagined it would go really well with the fresh local strawberries cut up and waiting for us back at the house. We waited in front of the counter while our pint container was packed with our chosen flavor. It seemed that the person scooping for us did not put a lot of effort into really "packing a pint of ice cream" for us and their lack of effort showed up later at home while we scooped out individual servings. In paying at the register, I was really surprised that they charged sales tax for that pint. I can understand their charging sales tax on a cone or dish of ice cream to be eaten right then and there; but charging sales tax for something to be eaten off site? Later on, after eating dinner, we scooped out fresh cut up strawberries into bowls and added a scoop of lemon poppyseed ice cream on top and then declared that all was right in the world. It turned out to be a perfect flavor combination!

Very good local ice cream shop. I was passing through on a road trip and stopped in. Got a dark chocolate scoop and a flavor called "this #@%+ is happening" both are really good. Big scoops too it took me a while to eat it. Great customer service. I accidentally tipped $30 instead of $3 and they fixed it right away. I would have loved to tip 30 but it wasn't quite in the budget but this place deserves it

We loved our first trip to this little ice cream parlor! The outside is adorable the inside feels just how an ice cream shop should feel (and it's nice and clean which I'm picky about!). And the ice cream is delicious. I'd say the prices are pretty spot on for a small ice cream shop, totally worth it in my opinion to support thsmall businesses. We will definitely back!

I booked Ramone's ice cream truck for a celebration of life at my home in Fall Creek. I can not say enough great things about my interactions with the staff and how easy and efficient everything was. They were a huge hit with the guests and I highly recommend them for any event!

I told them that I like to bite my ice cream and they didn't judge me. I am a big fan of the Fat Elvis flavor and I will be returning very soon because I like their ice cream a lot. The homemade waffle cones are a cool thing and I also really like that they have pie if you are in the mood for pie.

I am so glad this place opened in Eau Claire. The homemade waffle cones are sometimes warm they are so fresh and they are delicious. The flavors are so yummy and the staff always has a smile on their faces.

I stopped in for a root beer float. Staff friendly except the girl behind the counter who took my order did not know how to make a root beer float? It's like what . . a 10 year-old knows how to make a root beer float. I suggest they train their employees more.

As you walk off the street, the smell of the freshly pressed waffle cones will give you a glimpse of what you are about to experience. Don't bother with anything other than the waffle cones, and ask for a fresh one. The varieties of ice cream are wide to fit anyone's taste, and they are truly delicious. The staff is always more than gracious and I've always left with a bit of a smile. One of our favorite things to do is to head to ramones, and then walk the trail just south of the back parking lot to Phoenix Park. By the time you get to the park, you should be just about done with your cone. Conveniently there is a bathroom at just that spot to wash up. For a more adult evening, I might recommend hitting the bar just below the oxbow for a follow up cocktail. Ramones is just what you want from an ice cream parlor. An old timer feel, quick service, an amazing product. There is a reason there is often a line out the door.. it's worth the wait!

This place is great and pretty cheap. Not a big selection of flavors but they change it up and what they do have is delicious. Only complaint is the building while quaint is very small and tight. If you live for ice cream like me, give this place and Olsons a try before going to coldstone.

Whenever we travel, we always make sure we sample the local cuisine and so, having heard that Blue Moon ice cream was part of the Wisconsin culture, had to give it a try! This cute little ice cream parlor was super close to our hotel, so it was a no-brainer that we HAD to come here after dinner to try a scoop of Blue Moon. It was fairly busy, and actually much busier than most businesses around here it seemed. We were lucky enough to find a table inside,but if you're not, there's actually a great little area out back. I imagine it's quite popular in the summertime. We ordered one scoop of the Blue Moon and it was just the most gorgeous color ever. I've read it described as the flavor of milk left over after eating Froot Loops, and yes, I guess it tasted similarly to that. Not sure how else to describe it. It certainly was rich and creamy, I'll give it that. A solid place to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Cute little classic ice cream parlor. And the line out the door on a Tuesday is a testament to how good the ice cream is. I'm in the hotel across the street, and the smell of waffle cones has been killing me all day. It was worth the trip over!

The ice cream is very good but the customer service is even better! What a delightful place! They are eager to greet you and take care of you. We walked in one evening to get ice cream and all 6 of us left satisfied with our selections. The turtle ice cream was delicious! It was very hot and I was going to purchase water but they guy ringing me up let me know there was ice water right behind him with cups for free! If I ever pass thru for work again I will definitely stop by!

Love that they make their own cones & the malted milk ball at the bottom is always a fun treat to make it to the bottom. Fun flavors & courteous crew! Cute back pergola area to sit as well on a hot summer day. Quick tip - pay with cash so you can get change - They give back half dollars!!!

Ramones is good. It would also be nice if they stayed open until they advertised. I went there at 8:30 pm, still people inside, they advertise that they close at 9:00 pm. Wouldn't be a big deal, but I drove over 25 minutes to get there before they closed ...

Excellent quality ice cream from The Chocolate Shoppe in Madison. Yummy gluten free waffle cones, specialty shakes and more. Great employees and they donate their tips to a different local non-profit every month!

We stopped at Ramones the last time we were in Eau Claire. We live 50 miles north of Eau Claire and wanted ice cream after a day of shopping. We checked Yelp for ice cream shops near us and decided to try this one. The ice cream is very good and the service is great. The only complaint I would have is there isn't much seating. There was a sign posted though that a new outdoor area was built. We will definitely be back!

It's nice to have an ice cream place in EC. The service was outstanding, everyone was so friendly! Waffle cones are yummy. Ice cream is out of Madison. Long lines right now since they just opened but I think it adds to the atmosphere, especially in nice weather. My one complaint is that the only trash can is allllllll the way in the back corner. So you have to push through the line to throw your cup away. They'd be better off having several and putting them near the door or outside.

I grew up in Eau Claire, and whenever I come back to visit my family, I'm so happy to see the progress it is making. I love the downtown and all of the new dining options. I was thrilled to hear that there now is a non-chain ice cream parlor. The ice cream was delicious, and there were a ton of choices. It's a little tight in there because there is not a lot of space, but besides that, it was awesome. I would highly recommend it. Great for families! My three year old niece loves it there.

Munchie Madness is the best flavor! We love this place. My sister always wants to visit when she comes to town.

My girlfriend and I were in the area for the evening and decided to look for an ice cream shop. This incredible place came up on yelp and we decided to give it a go. For the amazing flavor of their ice cream and freshly made waffle cones the prices are reasonable. It's like a fine dinning restaurant but for ice cream cones. Do not hesitate to wait in line outside of the building, it's worth it!

I have never been there before their flavors were somewhat limited however their vanilla is out of this world. Very friendly staff I would definitely go back when I have a chance.

Get the (FRESHLY MADE) waffle cone, you won't regret it. Next time I am gonna try some other flavor besides Lemon Poppy seed, like the Exhausted Parent or Salted Caramel. They get the basics done here right

I stopped by Ramones on a Sunday afternoon after going on a nice walk. It was a warm day and I was craving a milkshake. The employees were able to make me the best cookie dough blizzard I have ever had. All of that with an amazing attitude and kinda manners. I would love to return to this place in the future.

Conveniently located downtown near the trail along the Eau Claire river making it a handy place to recharge during or after you stroll or bike ride.

It's ice cream, what's not to love. The place is very small so be prepared to wait in line on a hot summer day, but the service it quick and very friendly. I love the new outdoor patio. The location is in downtown Eau Claire, the new look of downtown Eau Claire is awesome. Grab a cone and take a stroll along the river.
