I had a great time at Ramons. I did a dive package through PADI and everything went great. The staff is very friendly and chill. The restaurant had some good dishes, most especially the shrimp tacos. Soo good. The diving was great. Right there at the pier so wake up, eat breakfast and go. I also enjoyed their lounging areas. Had a very nice pool in center of resort to mingle in. Plenty of comfortable seating, hammocks, etc. No lack for nice places to just sit and relax. There's a grocery store nearby and while nothing special, can at least get essentials if you forgot something. All in all, great time, no regrets. Would come here again if I was in the mood to do some diving. Special shout out to front desk staff who helped make my trip even better by treating me like a VIP. Thanks Ramons!

We have stayed at Ramon's for years! The location is perfect. Its the oldest dive resort on the island. And they are the only place on San Pedro who hasn't sold out, and has made major investments to keep a real beach for guests to enjoy instead of these banal sea walls. All the other resorts have eliminated access to the water with sea walls. -not Ramons!! The front desk also conducts currency exchange with NO FEE for guests. So you can trade belizean dollars for US, or US for belize dollars with no hassle or questions. After standing in the Belize Bank line for hours....they told me I could only exchange a limit of $250 US which is crazy! Ramons does currency exchange made easy. Decade-after-decade Ramon's never disappoints. Its not a 5 star place, technically. But its 5 star resort in spirit! Its got real soul!

Diving was great. Plenty of sharks and sea life. Definitely rent a golf cart and see the island. Ice cream shop across the street was very good. This is a laid back resort for relaxing. Dive masters were the very best. Restaurant food at Ramon was good but you’ll want to explore other options.

Ramon’s was great! Close to the airport and very nice resort. However they only serve beer and wine. So if you want a pina colada go down the road and buy rum. They will mix it in for you. Overall a fantastic place you can catch fish and the chef will cook it for you that night. We loved it here. Highly recommend it.

The resort was lovely and well taken care of. My husband and I went to complete our dive certifications. The whole crew at the dive center was great and very friendly. Adolfo was our dive instructor and I cannot say enough kind words about him. He was knowledgeable, patient and personable. Thank you Adolfo for giving us such a wonderful experience! |Brandon and Elizabeth

Ramon’s Village Resort truly stands out in my many travels as the most customer service–oriented place I have ever experienced. Every single encounter was a pleasure! From Nuris at the reception desk who was attentive, friendly, and helpful; Chief at the Pineapple Restaurant; Steven (Hol Chan full day + Caye Caulker snorkeling excursion); Bryan and Carlos (Mexico Rocks excursion); to Jose, who helped carry my luggage all the way to the check-in desk at the airport for my departure—each person made my stay memorable.||My entire visit was nothing short of renovating and refreshing. The facilities are immaculate, and their pest control is stellar—despite the lush vegetation that makes you feel transported to a village in the middle of Mayan country, I was never bitten by a mosquito while inside the resort (though you’ll want repellent outside the property). The atmosphere is both lively and serene, blending rich culture, history, and natural beauty.||As a solo traveler, I felt so well cared for. Staff offered to take photos, gave wonderful suggestions, and even recommended local flavors that I ended up loving. They are accommodating in every sense, and you always feel welcomed.||To the administration: please keep your team—they are the secret sauce here. Each and every one of them is beyond amazing. I wish I could name everyone because not a single interaction left me without a smile.||Sometimes, destinations that receive many tourists can feel jaded. Not here. The staff at Ramon’s genuinely want you to return, to have the best possible experience, and they radiate pride in sharing their island and its many treasures.||Simply exquisite. Without a doubt, I will be back. Ramon’s Village Resort gives true meaning to the expression: Belizeable 💕

Great visit - the grounds were well kept and the staff was very attentive to every need. |Tucked away from the street bustle on the beach.|The dive shop is awesome! I usually don’t like being helped out but the dive crew was awesome at being everywhere and no where. We got off and on the boat quickly. They did their best to put together divers with the same skill level. |Would have given 5 stars but the showers did not really get Hot.

I stayed there 6 days in September 2025 with my daughters. The resort is extremely well kept and beautiful. The staff super friendly and very helpful. The rooms are big and beds incredibly good (haven’t slept that good in awhile)! I think the resort has the best tasting food on the island and I’ve been traveling the world. The key lime pie was to die for. Would most definitely stay at this beautiful place again.
