Ramons Village Resort

I spent three nights at Ramon’s Village Resort. The grounds of the resort are absolutely amazing. It’s very quiet; a tropical oasis in San Pedro town. I stayed in one of the seaside rooms and it was perfect. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the balcony and spent every night listening to the calming sounds of the sea. The staff at the hotel are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They are so attentive and polite, and go out of their way to make your stay as wonderful as possible. I was able to set up a mainland excursion through the dive shop with ease; the staff there are incredibly helpful as well. I enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant. I had lunch and dinner and both meals were delicious. The beach was very nice. It was clean and the water was calm and warm. I would definitely stay here again.

Ramon' village is wonderful. Went fishing with Haron and Damon. They were excellent. They found good spots. They were attentive to our party. I hadn't been fishing in years. They gave excellent instructions. Everyone caught at least one fish.. I recommend them highly. The accommodation are wonderful. The room is nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the porch first thing in the morning. The atmosphere is very relaxing.. The total experience is just what I needed

Recently enjoyed a 6 night stay in Room 134. The room was clean and comfortable with an ocean view. We enjoyed several snorkeling trips from the Dive shop, the bean lounge chairs, pool , restaurant and bar. We also rented a golf cart a couple of days from the resort. The location was perfect for walking the beach, walking into town going to all the best restaurants. The beach was cleaned every day. I highly recommend Ramon’s village resort for your next San Pedro, Belize vacation.

We had a great stay at Ramon's. Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. The beach and (slightly heated) pool were relaxing and beautiful. You are a short walk to downtown San Pedro, but a very quick golf cart ride. The hotel is on a small, private beach but next to an airstrip, which is extremely conveinent if you are flying. We found the light hum of the planes overhead relaxing. The food at Pinapples was better than some highly rated resturants elsewhere on the island. We will be excited to come back to Ramons.

couple girlfriends and I stayed at Ramons for four nights. We were in room 131 wasn’t I’m super impressed with the rooms accommodations that are in the room. I will say the bed was pretty comfortable in this room 131 but they are super cute as far as how they are positioned in the jungle and next to the beach, however, our room had to be moved because there was termites all in our sheets and on our pillows. we moved to 123 and the beds were absolutely terrible room seemed more clean though other than that we had a really great experience. The beach is absolutely stunning. Service was good housekeeping was good. The restaurant food was OK. Could be better next time we go I’ll probably stay at Alanias . however, I did do a beachside massage with Mary and it was absolutely worth the money. She was amazing. I would say it’s definitely worth the experience, but if you’d like a more upscale room, I would suggest going elsewhere however this resort is very scenic .

Ramon's Village is THE perfect vacation destination. We went as a couple in 2005 (loved it then too!!) and when our kids were old enough for a big trip we decided to take them to Ramon's Village (12/2024). The diving is GREAT, lots of coral and marine life, including sharks, rays, turtle, lobster, crab etc. Ramon's Village dive shop always has options for maximizing the experience. Their dive masters (especially Dixon and Juan) are so fun and knowledgeable. The front desk staff really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. The food at the restaurant was gourmet quality! So many choices we loved them all~ breathtaking views from the rooms and walking out onto the beach. So peaceful. We also took advantage of Ramon's Village arranging a tour of the ancient ruins at Lamani. Thank you for this amazing vacation!

This was my second Scuba.com and this time our group stayed at Ramon's Village on San Pedro Island in Belize. |I found this resort to be an amazing place to go for a week of diving. |First the Resort: The resort arranged for our airfare from Belize city and back and even picked us up from the little airport on San Pedro. The resort is located adjacent to the airport but we had a beachfront room and were gone most of the day diving, so the airport noise did not affect us. The resort staff was friendly, attentive and many of them even learned our names after just one day. The resort was very clean and well attended the whole week were there. Our room was very CLEAN, pretty, and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. The bed and pillows were amazing! It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. |The pool is in the shade so if you want sun, you have to go to the beach. There is no hot tub on the property.|The resort is located next to a market that has basic supplies for snacks and sundries if needed. |The restaurant at the resort is Pineapple's. Pineapple's had a diverse menu, great daily specials, and tasty food at all meals. The only feedback I have for the restaurant is to offer lighter options at dinner like simple sandwiches because both my husband and I do not like to eat a heavy meal the night before a dive. |The Dive Shop: Since we dove with Scuba.com our group had a dive boat to ourselves and two fantastic dive masters for the whole week. The boat was a typical, well maintained dive boat, the crew went above and beyond everyday, and the dock and locker facilities were steps from our room at the resort. Pete and Kris, our dive masters did a fantastic job with safety briefings, gear management and getting us to some truly memorable dive sites. It was my first time diving in Belize and it was spectacular the whole week. Most of the dive spots aren't far from the resort so they return to the resort between dives for the surface intervals. This made for a really fun time diving. The weather during our time was windy and pretty much every day there were HUGE swells which made getting on the boat from the water a challenge. The boat captains were exceptionally skilled at navigating the large swells and crew did an amazing job keeping us safe in very big water as we got back on the boat. We only missed one day of diving because of weather, but the dive shop worked with our group and offered make up dives later in the week. |The dock/dive shop had rinse tanks and lockers available to manage our gear. The lockers have dive gear hangers and the shop provides the locks. |Highlights of the dives for the week: lots of fishes, sharks, turtles (a couple varieties), eels, gorgeous formations/swim throughs and visibility was crystal clear. Best part was the captain lead a large pod of dolphins to our location while we were diving and the dolphins stayed and swam all around us for at least 20 min. |Thanks for an amazing week of Diving Ramon's!

If you are in San Pedro, you need to go to Ramons! They are a full service resort with snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding and of course FISHING! Their beach is kept very clean. They have very nice beach lounges and a roped off swimming area for the little ones. When we’re in San Pedro we go to Ramons to hangout at the beach. The food here is absolutely delicious! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! We’ve tried them all! An absolute must is their “Steak on a Stone” dinner! We ordered the beef and shrimp and was it ever good! They bring you a VERY hot stone, (AKA-flat rock), and you cook your meal yourself at your table! Great fun, and a great dining experience! I would recommend this meal to all! The ONLY reason I never gave Ramons a five star rating is because they do not serve hard liquor! They do serve wine and beer, though. Even though Ramons is a high end resort and somewhat expensive, you can plan your day there and enjoy all their amenities! I highly recommend spending time at Ramons if you are in San Pedro.
