This was our first time to Ramon's. My husband did two double dives and thoroughly enjoyed the expert diving experience. Juan was so good that he made sure he was his dive master the second time. They had some laughs that a sucker shark wouldn't leave him alone! He can't wait to come back next year. They have a beautiful, heated pool to relax at and the grounds are as if you are living in a jungle. We stayed in the Jungle room and it is a private cabana, which was perfect. Nice hot showers, comfortable bed and good A/C. The restaurant food was very good and we got the breakfast included package. The location was also good and we were able to try other restaurants nearby. Unfortunately Ramon's doesn't serve hard alcohol, but Blue Water Grill made great pineapple margaritas so we were there a couple times for lunch and dinner. It's a shame that Ramon's doesn't. The staff is friendly and welcoming and Axel was always ready with the much-loved coffee. Casanova and the other staff were more than happy to chat and overall, this is a great resort to visit!

This is a wonderful stay at Ramon’s. It got everything we asked for - quietness, beach, a great dive shop, nearby snorkeling trips. The beach was clean and didn’t have much seaweed during our stay in December. The beach is kinda small but also safe for kids to play. The sand is coral sands so it doesn’t burn under the sun. The oceanfront suite has an amazing view! I get to relax and unwind here. The lights at night is ambient. Don’t miss out on the dock at night. Due to the lights, many fish was attracted. We saw 3 spotted eagle rays at the dock, and a bunch of tarpon. Had a great stay at Ramon’s. It’s so easy to walk to restaurants and airports. Love the location. So happy to wake up and go diving. 🙌🏼

My husband and I traveled to Ramon's for the first time in October 2025. Our visit FAR exceeded our expectations. The resort was absolutely incredible. (Pictures do no justice!) The property was immaculate, and consistently maintained. Thought and intention went into every single detail to create the most inviting, stunning environment that you could possibly imagine! What really stood out to us (besides the beauty of the entire village) was the staff. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond take care of us. Every single person we spoke to treated us like their long lost friend coming home for a visit. I have never experienced anything like it in all of my travels. (Especially the front desk staff, Jose really went out of his way to help us create an unforgettable memory! And Wendy, coordinated the most perfect event for us with such thoughtful details we never even expected!) We will definitely be back and have been recommending Ramon's to everyone we know. Thank you to everyone there for allowing us such an amazing experience!

I had a great time at Ramons. I did a dive package through PADI and everything went great. The staff is very friendly and chill. The restaurant had some good dishes, most especially the shrimp tacos. Soo good. The diving was great. Right there at the pier so wake up, eat breakfast and go. I also enjoyed their lounging areas. Had a very nice pool in center of resort to mingle in. Plenty of comfortable seating, hammocks, etc. No lack for nice places to just sit and relax. There's a grocery store nearby and while nothing special, can at least get essentials if you forgot something. All in all, great time, no regrets. Would come here again if I was in the mood to do some diving. Special shout out to front desk staff who helped make my trip even better by treating me like a VIP. Thanks Ramons!

This is my second trip to Belize and the first time I have ever had to write a negative review. Every place I’ve stayed and visited in Belize has been lovely with friendly staff. My friend and I were traveling and decided to stay just one night at the village before moving to the next location. From the moment we checked in, the staff seemed to resent that we were only there one night (various comments made by different people). The restaurant was ok but overpriced. It also didn’t serve some alcohol because, we were told, the owners were religious. This was also apparent with the John 3:16 carved in the towel rack in the bathroom (see picture). I’m not sure if the bad attitude was because we were there one night or maybe it was because we were two women traveling together, either way it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend it. We also did scuba that day with them and their crew and dive masters were wonderful! I would recommend scuba diving with them, but I would never stay in the hotel again.

We just returned from a glorious vacation at Ramon's Village. Although the resort receives excellent reviews, it still exceeded my expectations. Our family stayed there for 4 nights in order to get certified as divers. It was my husband, two adult children, and daughter's fiance. Three of us were getting open water certification, and two were getting advanced diver certification. The Dive Master, Rick, was incredibly helpful and flexible in setting up the dives- even helping us complete the on-line portion prior to our trip. He was easy to reach by What's App and very responsive. He is easy going and runs an excellent operation. The dive instructors were incredibly hard working and excellent. The two we had were Abdy and Andy. Abdy worked very patiently with three of us and had to extend our teaching beyond the usual two day process. He was flexible, knowledgeable, fun, and kind. Andy worked with the two advanced divers and received excellent reviews from them! We also really appreciated Bryan as a snorkeling dive guide! And, Carlos was quite good as well. The reef at Hol Chan is amazing, filled with underwater wild life including nurse sharks (very safe), rays, lobsters, turtles, moray eels, lobsters, caribbean reef sharks (also safe, although scary looking), barracudas, blowfish, and all kinds of other fish. ||In addition, the accommodations at the resort are incredibly lovely! The grounds are beautiful and rooms spacious, well-maintined, beautiful and comfortable. There is a restaurant there and the food is good! The manager of the resort is helpful and wants you to have a good time. The resort is very well-maintained and felt safe. There is a lovely beach right there where you can swim if snorkeling or diving is not your thing. I do very much recommend a snorkel trip to Hol Chan and shark alley though--it is incredible to see the nurse sharks feeding even if you stay on the boat! ||There was quite a bit of rain while we were there even though the wet season was ending--with climate change, one never knows what the weather will bring. The rain didn't stop us, the ferry from Belize city, or any of the dives. ||I give this resort my highest recommendation! It was exactly what we were looking for, and we all came back as certified divers!

If you're looking for a tropical get away this place is where you want to be. We stayed in room 127 which was its own little cabana nestled in a jungle like setting. this place is well staffed and super clean, you would never know you're in the downtown area which is great because you're right next door to everything by walking. Food was great at Pineapples restaurant, the crew that does the diving and snorkeling were great. I really don't have a bad thing to say about this place, if we come back to Belize this will definetly be the place we stay.

Wow! We booked our stay here during the second half of our honeymoon trip to Belize. This resort has all the amenities you could ask for, with additional excursions that should not be missed! We stayed in the Honeymoon Cabana (101) which was nice and private and steps from the beach. While here we did the coral gardens and manatee morning snorkle trip with Carlos and Brian. We saw 3 manatees, over 8 sea turtles, and countless sharks and beautiful fish. You can also snorkle right from the dock, which we absolutely took advantage of multiple times. (Seeing an eagle spotted ray, eel, and many other fish.) We also had some of the best massages ever towards the end of our stay. The staff were all super friendly, with a special shoutout to Jose at the front desk, and "Jos-b" driving us to our ferry. The location can't be beat, we walked to some of the best restaurants in San Pedro. Thanks again for an epic honeymoon!
