I stayed there 6 days in September 2025 with my daughters. The resort is extremely well kept and beautiful. The staff super friendly and very helpful. The rooms are big and beds incredibly good (haven’t slept that good in awhile)! I think the resort has the best tasting food on the island and I’ve been traveling the world. The key lime pie was to die for. Would most definitely stay at this beautiful place again.

Ramon’s Village Resort truly stands out in my many travels as the most customer service–oriented place I have ever experienced. Every single encounter was a pleasure! From Nuris at the reception desk who was attentive, friendly, and helpful; Chief at the Pineapple Restaurant; Steven (Hol Chan full day + Caye Caulker snorkeling excursion); Bryan and Carlos (Mexico Rocks excursion); to Jose, who helped carry my luggage all the way to the check-in desk at the airport for my departure—each person made my stay memorable.||My entire visit was nothing short of renovating and refreshing. The facilities are immaculate, and their pest control is stellar—despite the lush vegetation that makes you feel transported to a village in the middle of Mayan country, I was never bitten by a mosquito while inside the resort (though you’ll want repellent outside the property). The atmosphere is both lively and serene, blending rich culture, history, and natural beauty.||As a solo traveler, I felt so well cared for. Staff offered to take photos, gave wonderful suggestions, and even recommended local flavors that I ended up loving. They are accommodating in every sense, and you always feel welcomed.||To the administration: please keep your team—they are the secret sauce here. Each and every one of them is beyond amazing. I wish I could name everyone because not a single interaction left me without a smile.||Sometimes, destinations that receive many tourists can feel jaded. Not here. The staff at Ramon’s genuinely want you to return, to have the best possible experience, and they radiate pride in sharing their island and its many treasures.||Simply exquisite. Without a doubt, I will be back. Ramon’s Village Resort gives true meaning to the expression: Belizeable 💕

My trip to San Pedro, Belize was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a laid-back island vibe that instantly melts stress away. We stayed at Ramon’s Village Resort, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This tropical oasis feels like something out of a postcard—lush, beautifully maintained grounds with authentic thatched-roof cabanas, steps from the beach and surrounded by swaying palms. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always friendly and attentive to every need. The resort blends comfort and Caribbean charm perfectly, with stunning ocean views and the relaxing sounds of the sea just outside your door. The on-site restaurant, Pineapples, served up fresh and delicious meals daily, and the dock provided easy access to snorkeling and dive tours. We especially loved how Ramon’s is just a short walk to the heart of San Pedro, yet still feels like a peaceful, private retreat. Every day was a new adventure—snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, exploring the island by golf cart, and lounging in the sun with a drink in hand. The memories made here will stay with us forever. Whether you’re seeking adventure, romance, or total relaxation, San Pedro and Ramon’s Village Resort offer the perfect combination. We left with full hearts, sun-kissed skin, and a strong desire to return. Belize it—you won’t regret it!

Beautiful property and great rooms! However, there were a few things we noticed that made the stay not so great. The service from the bar and restaurant were lacking majorly. For the price you’re paying to stay here, you would think you wouldn’t have to flag the waiter down for refills - every time. The food was average. The servers do not work on a teamwork system, so if you ask someone other than your server to get something, it will never happen. Most of the restaurant and bar staff sat in guest chairs watching sports. We saw one server that was asleep. So many missed opportunities. Another very important thing to note here: you can only get beer or wine. No mixed drinks at all. No service around the pool, no tables by the loungers for drinks. The only music you will hear is faint. It just does not feel like other beachfront spots. I do want to compliment the security guard (only person on the property that talked to us), Elseo. Friendly and helpful. The ladies that did our massages were great as well. It seems to me that the bar and restaurant staff need better training. Compared to service at other restaurants in San Pedro, there is no comparison. On our way out, no one even asked how our stay was. Do you want guests or not?

We stayed here 3 years ago and left a 5 star review. It was still a great time and a great property but it was not as spectacular as before. |It was clean inside and out – the grounds especially were very well maintained, the beach was raked at least once a day, the pool was clean and the beach chairs were always ready – and plenty of them. Beach/pool towels were available at the front desk. On the down side, the housekeeping was minimal. The first day all they did was make the bed, the second day, they brought towels, but didn’t take the used ones. We had to chase them down to get shampoo since we only started out with one small bottle and it was gone. They also never replaced the used glassware. None of this was terrible, just surprising for the price of the room.|Big, comfortable room with very nice view of the ocean (we had a “beachfront guest suite” which was on the second floor facing the beach) and a small private balcony. The second floor room had a very tall|natural palapa ceiling which was quite impressive and a nice mural and flower arrangements. The seaside and jungle rooms have a more secluded feel and were surrounded by tropical plants. I will say, the water pressure in our shower was VERY low. It made for a really long shower. |The restaurant food was still good, but the service could have been better. Often we waited for water (either originally or refill), and our check. Once, there was a large group taking all the server’s attention and he obviously forgot about us, so we finally left because they already had our room number. We try not to be in a rush, but sometimes we have somewhere to be, like diving ! Nice views from the restaurant which had options for indoor or outdoor dining. Also, plenty of other bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend Gill-E’s and their Grouper sandwich and margaritas. Caroline’s, which was Caribbean food, was also very good and not too far on foot. |There are no mixed drinks available at the resort but there is wine and beer. And there was a grocery store with liquor very close by. |The dive center was well organized. Big boats but lots of people. We were on a boat with 20+ other people and whereas we had 6 people to a dive master, we were still diving the same area. So, lots of divers to avoid in the water and on the boat. They had people who’s dive gear was laying on the floor in the middle of the boat ! We saw the same thing happen the next day although we were not diving. I don’t know why they don’t take 2 boats since they’re only going about 5 minutes out – it’s not to save gas. Dixon was a great Dive Master and he did his best to keep us away from the other groups and he did a nice job of “baby-sitting” us with our gear and such. The reef is very close so surface intervals were done back at the resort which was handy. Rental gear was in good shape. |Golf cart rental was reasonably priced, well maintained and organized. We took a cart to Secret Beach and it was a nice day trip.

Great place we loved everything about it. The staff was outstanding and very helpful when it came to getting reservations at restaurants. Small issue with seaweed but we understood that it was everywhere. We would definitely book and stay there again. FYI rooms don’t have tv’s so bring iPads if you miss television.

Ramon's has been here for years for a reason. Visit was exceptional. The resort has everything you need so there's no reason to leave but it's right in town so you can walk or rent a golf cart to go anywhere. Airport is right here but flights seemed to stop by 8 pm so no noise issue. The food and staff are exceptional, try "Dinner on a Stone", my husband did - 4 times!! Lots of snorkel/scuba tours and a beautiful sand beach with lots of palms. Another place I can't wait to return to.

PERFECTION!!!! Ramon’s has everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, which also included a small porch where we could enjoy a glass of wine with the warm sea breeze. The Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We ate at a variety of restaurants on the island, but found the restaurant at Ramon’s, Pineapples, to be the most reliably delicious. While Ramon’s caters to scuba divers, as a non-diver myself, I found it lovely sitting by the pool and/or the beach, where comfortable beach chairs were not hard to come by. The resort is very clean, well maintained, and quiet. Great for families, or people looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. See pictures from our trip on Instragram (@wanderlust_wino).
