It is THE most terrible place to visit in Ushuaia. The place was packed with people along with a long line inside (eight people ahead of us and ten behind), but the servers gave tables away to a tour guide with ten people behind us. No reservation, just cutting into lines. Although we tried to say that it wasn’t right, the servers didn’t try to listen and told people in line to back off in Spanish and in such a rude way. Especially the waitress! I saw so many bad reviews about her, and she was just as what I heard of. The worst you can imagine of for a serviceperson. Anyway as a result, some just left the store, some were upset along with me but all were ignored, and some squeezed into other tables to grab a seat.
The worst part was, when I spoke in English, the rude waitress told me that she doesn’t speak English ‘in English’. Could this be true? This is just a crazy place that shows no respect to customers. If the owner sees this review, you’d better do something with your staff, unless you are exactly the same type of person. Although I think you don’t even care because so many people wrote similar reviews, and all you did was to say to email you.
There are so many other decent, spacious, kind, and delicious restaurants and cafes to visit in Ushuaia, so don’t have a terrible experience like me just to see that 100-year store.
+I have pictures of the store. I visited 13:30-14:00 today.
