Went early at 7+ and had a seat easily. Became crowded shortly after. The menu on the board are better items than the ones on the menu. Ordered the scallop casserole which was very good which had potatoes as the base. Had to ask for bread from the server who totally missed me out. The decor is made up of many old items from the past. Tips only in cash which the server will remind u.

The best and most authentic Patagonian restaurant in South. Perfect food, attention and ambience. Their food selection is incredible, so many authentic dishis to choose from. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again. A true taste of Ushuaia 🇦🇷

an authentic place with 101 years of history, carrying the spirit of several generations. the atmosphere is cozy and warm. great service and very tasty food. the display case with desserts and baked goods makes you fall in love with it from the moment you enter. I highly recommend it to everyone, even if you are just passing through Ushuaia.

Great place in terms of appearance. Almost looks like a museum. We only had 2 coffees and 2 cakes. The coffees were fine. The cakes were ok if not a bit dry. The layer cake with dulce de leche was actually better the next day. Huge portions. Definitely worth it for the place and the atmosphere.

I liked this place, it's very original because of the interior but the food wasn't that tasty. My friend had lamb ravioli and I had steak of pork with sweet potatoes, which were only like 3 pieces. I would expect a bit more. Moreover I think it's worth visiting.

Built in 1906, probably one of the oldest general store in Ushuaia. Had a wonderful seafood risotto and the specialty coffee Ramos Generales. Should have split the risotto to leave room for dessert. The waitress Ayelen was excellent!

what a gem! the food (simple, fresh and tasty), the decoration (old-fashioned original boutique), the efficient service staff… one can get everything, from café to amazing pastries, lunch, dinner… it’s cosy and feels like home, a must!

I visited this place a few days ago and was very positively surprised by the authentic and beautiful atmosphere in this museum restaurant. The seafood risotto was amazingly served and tasted really good. We also received an appetiser. Plus this place doesn’t include a service fee on the pay check which I see very positively.
