This establishment stands out as a truly remarkable venue, with its original features and thoughtfully preserved interior. Rich in history, it serves not only as a bar and gathering space but also as a museum reflecting the community's heritage. The residents and patrons of this town value their local traditions and are eager to share their stories. The atmosphere is genuinely unique, offering an energy and experience unlike any I have previously encountered. The integration of geography and history within this location creates an environment that is both distinctive and memorable.

Their pastries looked tempting. But I was full so had only a couple empanadas and an apple pie.
Weren’t they delicious! I wished I could’ve tried more other yummy stuff.
Nice deco and ambience, friendly staff.

Amazing food, ambience and service.
We had Salad, Butternut squash soup, vegetarian risotto, spinach ravioli and vegetarian Pizza. Splendid meal. We enjoyed every bite of it. Risotto topped the list.

The atmosphere makes it special. I don't always enjoy eating out alone but there was a buzz about the place and it was a pleasure. Not fine dining but the food was good and unpretentious. Wonderful selection of deserts you could die for.

One of the must-visit gems in Ushuaia!
Nothing here is random. The shelves, tins, scales, radios, typewriters, posters, and crates are all period-correct or inspired by real Patagonian stores.
It feels lived-in, not staged.

We spent a lot of hours here for both breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is delightful, the interior interesting and the service excellent. The tarts we had for breakfast were top of the line and beautifully made. Lunch was hearty, well-portioned and perfect for the cold weather. The scallop casserole deserves a special mention - so smooth and soft and fragrant, maybe the best scallops we've ever had. They offer a wonderful and wide selection of wines. This place is a jewel of Ushuaia and not to be missed! A true haven.
