Rampendahl Brewery

Love this place! The atmosphere is perfect for an old brewery. We had the friendliest waitress ever, the Käsespätzle was to die for and my friend Loved the Griebenschmalz. The beers were also delicious. We tried the asparagus soup which was pretty good. We were sadly too late for the buffet, but it looked really good! 100% recommend and want to go back!

Had the feels of an old time pub with tasty beer! The food was also good with really large portions, so come hungry!

Nice homely German restaurant with traditional recipes. Portions are pretty big and the service is fast. The meals were very good and we loved what we ordered. We can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu!

Ventured into Rampendahl Brewery and was thoroughly impressed. Easily one of the best German restaurants we've had the pleasure of visiting. The beer? Exceptionally fresh with a crisp taste that paired perfectly with the delectable dishes. If you're in the mood for genuine German flavors and top-notch brews, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Delicious food in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Staff was super friendly. Food was delicious and huge portions. Really reasonable prices. Nice beer and their own liquor. The soups were amazing and the potatoes soup easily serves 3 people.

Typical German food at a remarkable local famous brewery & restaurant. We had pork schnitzel and Friday buffet (11.99€). They are great. The Schnitzel was in large portion (2 pieces) with sunny side up egg and crispy sautéed potatoes. This order could be shared by 2 people. Buffet was worth it too. We came early since the line opening so everything was freshly cooked. Buffet included salad, Spätzle, Schwein Medallion, mushroom sauce, potato au gratin, highlights wild deer and Hochzeitssuppe which I really enjoyed.

The service was outstanding, very friendly and polite! Food was not as expected. Very salty. Even for a cured pork leg it was perhaps over cured? Beer was great

Pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to rustic, german food. Great house-beers too. Personally I don´t care much about the decor but that´s all forgotten when I sit down to have one of their beers and a plate piled high with delicious, simple, german food. Service is quick too, could be friendlier though. Don´t let the decor scare you away - you want this. Trust me.

This was the first occasion we had eaten here but it certainly won't be our last. First things first, it's busy so be prepared to drink at the bar for a short while if you haven't booked. That said, we got our drinks but 10 minutes later we were being shown to our table upstairs. The atmosphere was fantastic. It is the quintessential German restaurant with hearty German food. As soon as we sat down the waitress brought over a plate of warm freshly baked bread and dripping. I honestly thought dripping would be disgusting but it went perfectly and really soaked up the beer. The beer is also fantastic and is brewed in house. For the main course I went for a pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce (Jäger schnitzel) and an egg on top, wonderful. My wife had a chicken and cheese dish which she thoroughly enjoyed. Price was very reasonable and we will definitely go back, highly recommended.

I was in Germany on business and we ended up eating here 3 times. Best Jägerschnitzel I've ever had. Beer was great too.
