Rampila Restaurant

Rampila was quite simply perfect. We ate on the terrace, nestled into the city walls. The location was so unique, so quaint, so everything you want Malta to be. The food was divine and service, impeccable. It was a beautiful winter night so we wanted to enjoy dining al fresco with such incredible views, despite it being a bit cool. We'll, before I could set down my purse, another heater was being delivered table-side and blankets offered. They were so very courteous and attentive. Now, saving the best for last, the food. Ah, the food.... We enjoyed a baked cheese appetizer, the veal sirloin and the lobster crab ravioli, followed by tiramisu and an apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Every single bite of every dish was just perfect. We couldn't be happier and can't wait to come back.

Such a great restaurant set in a stunning location. We visited here for a 30th birthday celebration and had an amazing evening. I would recommend booking a table on the terrace for the views. Our server Magdalena was attentive, funny and helpful. Our favourites were the duck and dark chocolate and the braised beef. A must visit if you’re in Valletta and want a special dining experience.

We were lucky to get table even we didn't make reservations. (Reservation recommended) One of the best restaurants in our trip (we stayed 2 weeks) Beautiful place. Perfect food and really good service. Rabbit stew was so nice. Calamari was really good. Pork cheeck fritter also yummy. Dessert was fine. Thank you for a nice time!

The food and the service was amazing! We really enjoyed our dinner; it was perhaps our best dinner in Valetta and we have been to many restaurants. Besides the food, the service was really great. The waiters were genuinely friendly and kind. Thank you! ;)

What an excellent restaurant. We were warmly welcomed even if we did not have a reservation. 5 star service and excellent food. Highly recommended but it will be better if you make a reservation. Well done all at il-Rampila !!!

Stopped here for lunch and it did not disappoint! Best food we’ve had in Malta. We had the seafood soup, octopus, beef cheek, pumpkin risotto and the sea bass. Everything was prepared with exquisite detail and was absolutely delicious. Must stop in Valletta!

I ve made a reservation at this Restaurant on christmas Service was nice but Even with reservation we only got a table outside which was quite cold. The food was nice but the portions quite small. But was becoming cold pretty fast so the lamb steak was not so well after all. Still the waiter were professional and all in all it was a nice experience
