Google
The food was just ok. the server was friendly. Our table was in an unfortunate location. When the wind would shift, there was a foul smell. Also, there was an unlabeled clear sause bottle on the table, we weren't sure what it was till we looked at another table, and theirs was labeled fly deterent. I'm glad I didn't taste it.

Stopped in here when we were down near Southernmost area. Sat at the back bar, and glad we did. Gretchen was the bartender, and she was very attentive to everyone and incredibly friendly. We had some very cold beers, great chats with Gretchen, and ate. I had the fish sandwich and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger. Mine was delicious, and my husband’s cheeseburger looked insanely good. They give you large side portions. I had fries, he got tots. They both were fantastic. Definitely stop here when in Key West. The atmosphere, service, and food is outstanding.

Started with the stuffed avocados which were very good. The sauce in the scallops was a great meal in itself, amazing flavors! Scallops were good without the sauce. Asked for the steak rare but came out medium… oh well.

We had a great lunch with friend’s. The food , drinks and service were superb. We loved the cocks. Plus, the atmosphere and weather was perfect. Definitely recommend

Google
Just a lovely stop in our visit. We ate, listened to great local live music and had good food. A larger storm started and they moved us inside from the patio. Love the water bottles labeled “Chicken Repellant”. Fun and friendly service. The only reason I gave the food five stars was because I really like a more formed crab cake as a personal preference but the flakes of crab were large and it was well seasoned. Completely great just not my preference.

Google
Dined outdoors. The ambiance is strictly key west, lovely. I had the fish and chips. The breading was so heavy i removed it and simply ate the fish. Would not recommend.

Google
I got the Annapolis Benedict, fabulous! Lots of meaty crab. Hollandaise was lovely. My friend got the veggie Benedict and said that was good, too. Large portions, great value. Super cute place with roosters walking around. Definitely recommend for breakfast.

Google
Had to sit indoors since outside was full. Drinks were not good and most of the food was not cooked properly. Was very disappointed.

Yelp
We stopped in for some appetizers and cold drinks for lunch. The atmosphere was fun and the food was satisfying. My cousin Dave loved the crabby-tots! Cousin Dave will definitely be coming back!

Amanda F.

Yelp
Great salads here they have a nice patio here a lot of roosters running around they have chicken repellant on the table which is funny

John R.

Yelp
Coming here with a large group, we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. The bar, the area in the back, and cornhole kept us entertained while waiting. Though there is an upper deck, at least for when we were there, the space down below was cooler and certainly more inviting. Sitting down for the food, I had the Fish Street Tacos - blackened, pineapple slaw, queso fresco, chipotle aioli. They were good. Good enough to make the overall experience worthwhile.

Nina D.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance of this place, felt like you were in a cool jungle with the running water features, vines and foliage everywhere, even an old airplane wing being the roof for the music stage. Such a fun looking place! The food was decent at best, but we weren't expecting gourmet. We were there for the vibes (which included live steel drums) and they were great! Recommend giving this place a try for the vibes!

Yelp
We went here on a Saturday for dinner, and there were many open tables. They had live music, guy with a gravelly voice that was pretty good. We both had mahi mahi sandwiches with fries, very good fries. One fish blackened, one grilled. Both good, but blackened was better. Good selection of draft beers. Full bar, and a frozen pina colada was chosen and also good. There were some chickens roaming around, and each table had a water bottle to squirt at them as a deterrent. Signs posted asking NOT to feed them.

Christopher B.

Yelp
This was a really nice surprise. We initially stopped here because we needed to use the bathroom. They were nice enough to let us go in. We noticed it was very chill with lots of space. As we wandered around a bit and went past some really noisy and crowded places, we decided this is where we wanted to be so we eventually made our way back. I ended up ordering the Southernmost Salad with shrimp. I know sometimes there isn't much to a salad but this one nailed it on all levels. It was one of the best salads I could remember. And it's funny because normally this isn't a standout item on the menu.

Yelp
.The walk-up was delightful, and we were greeted by a very friendly lady at check-in. She then showed us the bar, which instantly brightened our morning. The Bloody Mary bar was unique and delicious, and the outdoor area, shaded by trees, was pleasant and inviting.

Karen N.

Yelp
Awesome outdoor bar! Bartenders are very helpful and friendly. Max and I got the Southernmost Signature Bloody Mary. Since this is Key West, it appears to be very chill. I'm taking about attitude and not the weather. The Bloody Mary was very tasty. Not too spicy. We watched the bartender make the crabby Bloody Mary. When she delivered them to the customers, it was fun to watch their reactions.

Joe G.

Yelp
I liked the atmosphere. Service was good. They have a good happy hour. Live music. Would add another star but for the Cuban sandwich we got. Menu indicates ham, pork, and Swiss cheese. Fine, that was all there.. The menu description also included pickles and a Cajun mustard. Not a trace. We asked for both and got a few pickle slices and common yellow mustard which at least completed the sandwich. Then it was at least average.

Daren R.

Yelp
Legendary Key West bloody mary bar with luce music at 1230pm. The girl sounds just like Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. This place was very busy with a grand entrance in Bahama Village just off Duval Street. Great frozen drink machines at the front kind of like Fat Tuesdays. The bloody marys with the toppings bar were tasty as usual for $18.

Peggy R.

Yelp
Just make sure you get Lexi and tell her the Rices love her!! Best service, fantastic food-do NOT miss this, esp for b'fast in KW! It has the Bohemian vibe you are searching for!

Ashley L.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience had a rough start. I ordered chicken tacos, but what arrived at my table were fish tacos. Thankfully, I'm not allergic to fish--otherwise, this could have been a serious issue. To their credit, they did apologize and offer me a complimentary dessert for the mix-up, which was a nice gesture. When it comes to service--especially with food allergies being a potential risk--accuracy is crucial. Safe to say I will not be returning.

Doug B.

Yelp
It was about 12:15pm as we approached the Blue Heaven for lunch and found it was an hour wait. Walked up the street, heard music and went into the Rams Head. We ordered the Crabby Mary Bloody Mary's which turned out to be nearly a meal. Besides the drink being really good there was an 'extra' skewer with shrimp, scallops and crab, FABULOUS!!! Then, our seafood omelet arrived, which we shared, it was stuffed with seafood and topped with a really good, house made, hollandaise sauce. We left happy and content and recommend y'all visit them.

Amy A.

Yelp
Had a friend recommend this place to stop at when visiting Key West. One of the big things they are known for is the Bloody Mary bar which we didn't even get, decided to just order the house Bloody Mary for a better price and it was good. We were seated immediately which was nice because our walk in August was longer than expected and we had our dogs with us. The outdoor seating area is large, and they had fans. We ordered 3 separate breakfast items, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I personally ordered the Tater Tot Scramble, perfect for a hangover breakfast! The server was very friendly and attentive. I would visit again if in the area.

J S.

Yelp
Best breakfast in town- quality and price Hands down Please don't get rid of this Good service and atmosphere and a great happy hour Live music and a funky atmosphere

Tavia L.

Yelp
A must go.. every time we are in the keys. Build your own bloody Mary's.. outdoor fun by great breeze

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy a frozen drink (sold in front and at the bar), or any beverage of your choice. The extensive bar menu and appetizing food menu was a hit with my group. We had a big lunch, so we only ordered the conch fritters and some beverages. The fritters were well cooked and plenty of conch in each bite. There was live music by a talented local singer/songwriter and he even humored us by taking a request. Most of his music was original and very easy to listen to. The staff was wonderful! Friendly, attentive and even had some fun with us. All in all it was a great place to end our very long day.

Terri M.

Yelp
Morgan was an excellent barmaid. She was very attentive and made all three of our friends with birthdays feel special. We appreciated her service. Thank you.

Kristi R.

Yelp
I visited on 2/11/24 and sat outside w/ my boyfriend. Our server was nice albeit forgetful. The food was tasty and the ambience was fun. They offer a wall of hot sauces. I loved the free roaming chickens. I would 100% recommend this place and return if ever in Key West.

Ruth S.

Yelp
We come to Ramshead every time we are in town. Their breakfast and lunch and dinners are all excellent. We've had the pleasure of being served by Lexi almost every time. We started asking for her after our first visit. One dish is just better than the next, everything comes out hot, quick and delicious! Highly recommended!! They also usually have a one or two piece band playing great music over the lunch hour.

Ruth D.

Yelp
Disclaimer: I didn't eat here. My story for why: I was visiting Key West for the first time and my local friend suggested we go here for breakfast on a Sunday. There was NO line when we walked up to the hostess stand. The hostesses almost could not be bothered to acknowledge us, and with a begrudged behavior, put our name on the wait list telling us it would be 10-15 minutes. We asked if they were still serving breakfast, and the hostesses confirmed that they were serving breakfast for another hour. So, we waited for our table by standing next to the hostess stand. Other people including a family with a little girl and elderly couples came up after us, all were told 15/20/25 minute waits. A crowd formed and continued to grow. Thirty or so many minutes later of us standing around and seeing lots of empty tables and no one being seated, I asked how much longer and noted that I was worried we wouldn't be able to get breakfast. The hostesses, again on bored droll, said it would be five more minutes but that they weren't serving breakfast. "But you said you served breakfast until one," I responded. "Yeah, but our grill broke." We were standing next to these women for the better portion of an hour, we'd had a conversation about how we wanted to be seated for breakfast, and they decided not to communicate anything about the change (don't even know how they found out about the grill being broken since it wasn't like I saw them having conversations with other staff), and they just kept lining people up. If the grill was broken, how were they serving most of their lunch choices? We left (and we're very famished at this point), but not before I watched an older woman explain that she could see empty tables and why couldn't the hostesses just seat people so they could sit down. The hostesses refused to meet her compromise. On future visits to Key West, I won't be tempted to try going to this place again.

Renee B.

Yelp
We had a very pleasant experience. They sat us at an appropriate table off to the side which had room for our Black Lab to be comfortable. Service was good & Friendly. Food was good. Definitely would recommend the Fish Dip. They have live music which is enjoyable.

NY M.

Yelp
Great spot. Good service. I'm not a bloody Mary person, but it was excellent. The food was very good and big portions.

KayAnna A.

Yelp
Went in for a quick breakfast and the service was fantastic! Food was yummy too! As soon as we got to the hostess's booth, we were allowed to choose to sit inside or outside. Plenty of seating for both options. We were seated inside and within the minute our server came out with waters to greet us. We placed our orders and food probably came out within 5 minutes. I don't think we were there longer than 25-30 minutes. My fiancé ordered the avocado toast with over easy eggs and I ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon. His avocado toast was yummy and fresh and his eggs were perfectly over easy. My scrambled eggs were soft and delicious along with crispy home fries and bacon. My English muffin already had some butter and had been toasted. Exactly what we both wanted. Only downside being there was no coffee on their menu. Service was wonderful, food was great, and the decor of the restaurant was mermaidesque and cute inside!

Alex T.

Yelp
Our server was amazing. Both meals were great. Such a great environment too. Asparagus was kind of bland.

D. Y.

Yelp
Good food and good prices. Live music. We went for dinner. Solid drinks too. Maybe a touch on the pricey side. Good service. Only bummer is music ends at 8 and the place empties out in a heartbeat after that.

Cathy W.

Yelp
I'll take live music at lunch any day, but to get it in an open-air restaurant set on a corner in Key West surrounded by tropical foliage is a hard yes! Popped in for the music and a refreshing drink. Ross Brown was performing solo. Great guitar tunes to accompany our frozen Rum Runner (best way to order it) and Coconut Mojito (not sweet enough - go with rum runner). We also gave the conch fritters a try and split a Crabby Grilled Cheese sandwich. Forget the fritters and go straight for the sandwich. It's hearty enough to share, loaded with crab and guyere cheese and thick slice of tomato on the inside, toasty on the outside.

Ginger V.

Yelp
It was meh. A large portion of the menu is beers/flights that get no longer offer...? The salad was good, and the chickens were fun to watch. However nothing else we ate was a stand out. Listening to a waiter and the hostess argue in front of us was extra cringey.

Fred G.

Yelp
Big portions at reasonable prices of above average food, pleasant service in rustic outdoor setting.

Michael M.

Yelp
I'm in town for a party and our group ate dinner here. The were able to accommodate our whole group of 13 very earlsily at the same table. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I ordered the special of shrimp and grits and a Stella to wash it down. It came in a reasonable amount of time. It looked and smelled amazing. The shrimp were very large and bite after bite was wonderful. This is by far the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted.

Kristy S.

Yelp
Really fun place - whether you are in a group or alone. I stopped in for a solo lunch at the bar. Service took a minute, but once I was recognized it was excellent. I tried their specialty sammie - the Hogfish. It was incredible! Everything on it you can imagine...cheese, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes...all on Cuban Bread. The fish was TDF! So tender and moist (yes, I just typed MOIST!). I ended up using a fork and knife! It also comes with a MOUND of hit fries. YUM! Julia was an excellent server. I will definitely go back!

Joseph B.

Yelp
Good food & service. Breakfast good for the prices. Below average price for the island. Drinks were average at best

Jade M.

Yelp
Food was absolutely terrible. My husband and I could not finish our meals because they tasted so gross. The service definitely could have been better as well.

J E.

Yelp
After touring the Hemingway House on a very hot day, we stopped in here for some adult beverages at the bar, to help cool us down. The place was packed around 12:30PM, but we were able to find seats and were taken care of promptly. They make nice crushed ice drinks. They have a full menu of cocktails and food too. Definitely worth stopping in! And for those from the DC area, yes, this is the same as Ram's Head in Annapolis.

Mike B.

Yelp
Cool place on a corner , tropical patio setting , lots of foliage and chickens and roosters roaming (can't get more tropical than that) good key west music (Jimmy Buffetesque- is that a word?) , our server Bridget was great , our food was great (maybe a lil too much vinaigrette on the avocado toast ) , but I definitely recommend and would definitely go back .

Andrea S.

Yelp
Great value! Festive and charming patio, killer live performer, and food was great. Will be a repeat patron when back to the keys.

Ruth F.

Yelp
The food as good and and they were very accommodating to food allergies. Our weight staff was very kind and understanding again my food allergies. It was definitely crowded people watching sports so they set us off in an area where it was pretty quiet ourselves making our real more enjoyable.

Kelly H.

Yelp
A solid, Key west staple and always a must great staff great open air atmosphere fun vibe live music solid menu absolutely spot on bloody Mary

Marisa R.

Yelp
We were seated outdoors and it was nothing short of a perfect vibe! There was amazing live music, eclectic decor, and great food. I ordered the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich, I will say the potatoes reminded me of the ones in a frozen bag. However, I wasn't upset about that, they were really good, sorry that might be controversial!! Also, the sandwich was pretty good, however, I would've preferred some kind of sauce on it. Despite the juicy meat, it would've been nice to break it up.

Scott H.

Yelp
Love EVERYTHING about this joint. Food & Service are TOPS. GRETCHEN is one of the coolest, sharpest & funniest servers on our island.

Katherine B.

Yelp
Stumbled across this bar and ended up having the best margaritas I have ever had. Bartender Michelle was incredible. Super quick and responsive. She made great recommendations on food, especially the crab dip. She hands down makes the best margaritas! We ended up coming back there with friends to enjoy it more of them, and found she also makes an incredible Bloody Mary. The whole bar area was packed but she managed it well. The ambiance of the outdoor area was exactly what we were looking for, with colorful signs, swings, and outdoor games! We will be back again next time we visit key west.

Pam K.

Yelp
Went to Key West for a quick relaxing weekend just as tropical storm Debbie hit the scene. I thought Tampa was hot but Key West is a blazing inferno which explains all the restaurants and bars to duck into for a drink and a snack to cool off. Southernmost was about 200 ft from the Lighthouse Inn where we were staying. So juicy and tender!!!! Had a pina colada, frozen, no wait, 2 and they were marvelous! The service kept getting better even though I think the hostess said they were short servers. Had a great lunch in a/c and loved the wrap around the room mural. Nicely done! Indoor and outdoor seating, your choice but I live in Fl., I don't need to eat outside to feel like I'm on vacation. Great place, check it out!

Amanda O.

Yelp
Interesting place! We only stopped for drinks to cool off but was a very cool atmosphere!!

Felicity B.

Yelp
Very good food and drinks. We stopped in mid afternoon and easily found a seat at the bar, even though it was busy. Service was friendly and great; drinks are good. We were encouraged by a local to stop by for the lobster Mac and cheese but it was too heavy for a snack - we will definitely try next time!!

Melanie B.

Yelp
After several meals of seafood I decided to go with something different and ordered a half rack of ribs. They were delicious! We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar. The atmosphere is fun and tropical with a true keys vibe. Live music (nothing spectacular). The atmosphere is super casual with chickens running around and it definitely needs some TLC and cleaning. I hear the brunch is really good. Service was very good especially in comparison to other nearby restaurants.

Minnie L.

Yelp
The outdoor seating is quite nice if not a bit loud, and the portions are decent especially for the chicken sandwich. Overall ambience and service was great, it's a solid choice for key west.

Jon G.

Yelp
love the ambiance. we stayed at margarita ville and this sort of bar would really suite the hotel. too bad it wasn't paired with it. we had nachos (best I think I've ever eate), pressed Cuban sandwich, (excellent), and Rasta pasta (amazing), washed down with watermelon margarita. just loved the live music, wandering chickens and overall chill existence. service was quick, we sat for supper and did t have to wait very long. seated immediatel.

Willy G.

Yelp
To get things started off I just have to say... The service is terrible! There were an empty table and wouldn't sit me and my husband because we are homosexuals. The Food was absolutely heartbreaking. The smell of the cigarette blowing in my mouth. GROSS. DONT RECOMMEND

Cassie M.

Yelp
We sat outside, listened to live music and enjoyed a couple of appetizers. Frozen lemonade was awesome and the avocado dish plus the tater tots app were just what we needed. The server was excellent!!
