Ramsey House Boutique B&B

Just returned from a lovely, relaxing short break at Ramsey House. We can only repeat and endorse what many other guests have said. Sean and Suzanne were outstanding hosts, warm, welcoming and had great knowledge of the area. Lovely homemade Welsh cakes and tea provided on arrival. The accommodation was of a high standard and ideally located. Breakfast was outstanding, cooking, presentation and quality could not be faulted. Would highly recommend.

When Suzanne comes out to meet you as you get out of the car, closely followed by Shaun saying, 'I've put the kettle on', you know you're in for a special experience. Everything about our stay was just right. The room had everything we needed, and more, the position is so quiet yet an easy ten minute stroll to the square and to the cathedral (and downhill all the way back!) and, to start each day, Shaun's fantastic breakfasts. What makes Suzanne and Shaun special is that they not only love their area, they want you to make the most of it too. They are genuinely interested in your plans, always ready to suggest something not to miss or answering questions you may have. A twenty minute downhill walk takes you to the lovely little harbour of Porthclais (or you could catch the Celtic Coaster little bus which passes the house) and join the coastal path. The views are spectacular but, be warned, you'll take longer than you think because of the amount of times you'll stop to take photos. However energetic or not your days are, you are guaranteed to be more relaxed when you leave than when you arrive.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to St David’s and Ramsey House. It is described as a luxury B&B and it lived up to its reputation in every possible way. Our hosts Susanne and Shaun were so friendly, informative and professional and they enhanced our experience of visiting Pembrokeshire for the first time.|The breakfasts were superb each morning and nothing was too much trouble. Ramsey House felt like a real home away from home and we will certainly visit again in the future. Thank you both.

I had a great stay at Ramsay House in August 2025. Very warm hospitality, a comfortable room, and wonderful breakfast each morning. Suzanne and Shaun provide an excellent standard of everything, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their B&B to others wanting such a base to explore St.Davids and Pembrokeshire from. This has got to be the best B&B in St.Davids if not Wales, Suzanne and Shaun are so welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms are of a really good size and well fitted out, Aquamarine room has a fantastic view across the fields and out to Skomer island.|The crowning glory, the best Welsh breakfast ever cooked, prepared by chef Shaun, presented so well you will have to photograph it, closely followed by the pet ducks playing the garden.|This was our second time here and it won't be our last.

Enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay at Ramsey House, met on arrival by Suzanne & Shaun who were very warm & welcoming. A beautiful B&B with hotel facilities including daily fresh milk, plentiful supply of teas coffee biscuits, L’occitane toiletries, bath robes. The breakfast choice was awesome a big choice of cooked dishes including home made bread, granola, fruit compote, served in a very chef style cooked by Shaun. Ramsey House location is perfect to walk into St David’s & to access the coastal paths to explore. Would highly recommend, thank you Suzanne & Shaun we throughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning. Val & Geoff.

We stayed here for just shy of a week and I would definitely recommend it as a great base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Suzanne and Shaun were superb hosts, the room was well appointed and the breakfasts were very good indeed. Located so that you are in easy walking distance of the coastal path in one direction, and St. David's in the other.
