Rancho de Ceci

We went to the Rancho de Ceci after a year, and the service was even better than we remembered. Our waiter went beyond to make sure he provided an efficient service and we enjoyed our dishes. The menu has an extended variety of Costa Rican typical dishes. The prices are very affordable, generous portions a nice presentation. The owner walked around the tables to welcome everybody with a warm smile. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming in addition the restaurant has ample private parking. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Been coming here every time I visit Costa Rica for some good chorriadas! This time I also got the Casado con carne en salsa and wasn’t impressed. The meat was tough. However, still 5 stars as this place rocks!

This place is amazing. The food never fails, they have daily specials. The owner Ceci is here helping every day and greets everyone as they come in. I had a ham and cheese sandwich along with sweet plantains with melted cheese on top. Delicious, absolutely delicious. The drink selection is really good as well. I had the soursop mixed with water (guanabana en agua).

Place is very nice and very traditional to the country. Attention from employees is really nice and food is great, great prices too.

Love this roadside restaurant with timeless Costa Rican country atmosphere. Cesi is often there herself greeting diners as if they were in here home, which is right next door. Great traditional food at reasonable prices. A must stop for us with large and clean restroons.

We had phenomenal service and amazing food. You can tell they know how to cook local dishes to perfection. Simple food that speaks for itself and brings out the true flavors of the ingredients. We had the casado pollo, gallo pinto pescado, and carne empanadas. Would recommend all.

I've known this place for almost 30 years. Every trip to La Fortuna had a must-stop breakfast on Ceci's. Service is superb, food is just great.
