Very hospitable and accommodating! Great location on a street with lots of activity, although it was a little loud in the morning. Good free breakfast. The bathroom was a bit small and we didn’t have hot water or high water pressure in the shower. The floors may not have been amazingly clean, but the beds seemed clean and the room was spacious with a good 3-bed layout.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was untidy, and the bed had hair all over it from a previous guest. To make matters worse, the cleaning staff had left their supplies behind in the room. Even after I brought this to the staff’s attention, the reception lady was apologetic but they only changed the bed sheet, but the blanket still had hair on it. The entire room looked and smelled unclean. The bathroom was not washed either. My husband and I did not have a good sleep . The bed had bugs in them and it we so uncomfortable the whole night. Especially for the price we paid—700 quetzals (about $120 CAD)—this was absolutely not worth it. No value for money, and I will definitely not be returning.

First off, as I am reluctant to leave bad reviews in foreign countries, as they may be different from my original home town, our stay was truly unacceptable. There was many bed bugs along with many on the ground crawling everywhere, in addition to many cobwebs and dead spiders. The pictures advised that there was a nice, relaxing lake view along with the three famous volcanoes. Well, there was no view, and if you like a view of dirty trees, then maybe you should go here. Breakfast was basic, and overall was very bad quality in building and I do not advise staying here.

The staff was very nice but my room was small, dated, and did not seem very clean. The bathroom was tiny and creepy, there was a giant spider in the room, and I just overall did not feel comfortable here. The location is convenient (just 1 street over from Calle Santander) but at night the street is very dark to walk along.

Been there several times, a place with lots of potential but not very well managed I think. Pricing is ok during low season but not worth it in high season. Some rooms are old and need a serious refresh, if you shower at the right time you’ll get hot water, quite noisy until 23pm. Breakfast starts 8am which is too late. Staff is very welcoming. In summary, quite a lot of mixed feelings. Your satisfaction will be heads or tails.

Came here with a medical mission group and was super worried about food quality, water, cleanliness etc but this hotel was amazing! The food was really good and the staff was super nice. The rooms were comfortable and I got great sleep here.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a pleasant experience. It’s a block away from calle Santander, the Main Street in Pana. It’s also a short walk to the lake. The grounds are well kept and you feel secure. It was also very quiet at night, which is a common complaint for other hotels in Pana. My room was nice. It was clean and comfortable. The shower did not drain well, but that and a weak WiFi signal would be my only real complaints about the room. The hotel has a nice little pool and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and the breakfast that is included is just ok. It was bland and service was slow. If you have a choice to book for a cheaper rate with no breakfast, do that. There are plenty of options on Santander. If you do get breakfast, it’s two pancakes, eggs, beans, bread, coffee, and orange juice.
