The family is very nice, and you do get to know their history and learn about their past and a bit about their culture, but it's too touristy in the sense that you get to practice bow and arrow (ok, that's fun), make some artisanal work (so so) and watch a "show" or representation about a Maleku ceremony. That I found too forced, and the kids seamed upset to have to get along with it. Also, what you see is made up for welcoming tourists, you don't actually see where they live, but, as we were told, they live in pretty normal houses nowadays. I would have skipped this attraction if possible...
