A beautiful play to stay, and what a lovely three day break. We stayed in the Juniper house, which was a luxurious bohemian experience, separated from the main house. The room was huge with eclectic furnishings and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The bathroom equally so, with a free standing copper bath and huge shower area. The wrap around balcony almost made you feel that you were in a tree house. Andy was our charming host , with nothing too much trouble, and his six friendly dogs, the icing on the cake. This really was an amazingly experience.

We just stayed for a week. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The choice of breakfast was fabulous, served in our room each day. The food was always tasty, served on lovely crockery by lovely friendly staff or by Andy himself. |We had our dog with us and the walks available right on the doorstep made this ideal for us.

Beautiful room, wonderful view, Andy and his team are brilliant! I absolutely loved Chrissy's breakfast crostini’s! Will definitely be back if there is availability! The finishing touches in the room were beautiful. The room was full of fun with particularly lovely soft furnishings and that beautiful Indian door, wow! Loved the drum port holes! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I cannot express enough how wonderful our two night stay was. We were met by Andy as we drove up. Our room (Valleley) was beautiful; roomy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of seating outside to enjoy the views and to have a drink- which were provided in your fridge-Prosecco and beer. The breakfast was outstanding (see photo). We also had our little doggy visitors each morning and this was an extra special addition. We will definitely be staying there again when we next head to The Lake district.

This is our third time staying at Randy Pike. It's a magical location, tucked away in the beautiful countryside, within easy reach of Ambleside. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and each have their own character, making you feel like you're really getting away from everything. Andy, Chrissy and the team are great hosts, always super friendly, and the breakfasts are always a highlight!

An amazing experience. Wonderful room, friendly people and spectacular breakfasts. We stayed for two nights with our dog who was also made to feel very welcome. There are some great walks right from the door, including to Wray Castle with direct access to the lakeshore.

From the welcome from Andy, Chrissy and the dogs, the room, the amazing food, the high quality bedding and the softest of pillows, the fridge full of complimentary drinks, delicious biscuits, delightful room and pillow mists, robes, funky artwork, and exquisite decor, the Randy Pike is a treasure of a find.Staying here feels like a warm hug. We will be back.

Located on the south west hillside out of Ambleside, lovely quiet location and ideal for dog owners with a trail to the castle literally at the end of the drive, large green area right outside your unit to let the dogs out first thing and during day, rooms are large and bathroom large too featuring waterfall shower large bath, twin sinks and wardrobe for coats etc, smart tv, wifi, hairdryer.|The breakfast was a good selection to choose from with tea / coffee / juice, possibly the nicest mushrooms ive ever tasted, very friendly hosts, short drive to Hawkshead and Outgate, and High Cross car park at North of Grizeland Forrest, ive included some pictures to have a look, would certainly return again, thanks to Andy, Chrissie and Staff who made our stay very relaxed and were helpful with local knowledge...excellent choice to make and certainly great if you have dogs, we stayed in the Dawson Suite.
