Randy Pike is a wonderful, located in a tranquil place with beautiful views.||We were greeted by the friendly helpful staff who went above and beyond during our stay.||The room was furnished to a very high standard, the bathroom was divine with bespoke features with not only a huge shower but huge bathtub too - we felt spoilt. The bed was so comfortable we had a great nights sleep.||Little touches such as drinks in the fridge which get restocked, room spray and pillow spray made it even extra special.||As with most reviews, we have to agree the breakfast is amazing. Best I’ve ever had. My husband had a full English and kedgeree (not both on the same day!) and they were happy to cater for me and provide dairy free alternatives. The breakfast trifle as a ‘starter’ is a must. I loved that the breakfast was brought to the room, meaning while away relaxing you can sit any enjoy a lazy breakfast in your robe looking out to the beautiful view.||There is a pub around 20 mins walk away, the drunken duck is a 40 min walk and great for sitting by the fire with a drink but the food is pricey and isn’t as good as it used to be, I’d recommend eating elsewhere.||We’ve been visiting the Lakes for 20 years and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Fanstic visit to Randy Pikes Juniper House. Rooms were clean and well thought out. Spacious rooms, massive bathroom and special view out on the balcony. Breakfast delivered to the room was again, exceptional. Very friendly from start to Finnish. I highly highly recommended this place. Brilliant value for money for what you get.

There is a reason this place has consistent 5 star reviews. Lovely individual rooms, delicious breakfast delivered to the room, great recommendations for local places to eat and gentle walking routes from the front door. We wanted something beyond the standard hotel experience and this absolutely delivered. Looking forward to returning!

Randy Pike was such a wonderful find. Everything was perfect from the amazing breakfasts to the huge bathroom. The weather was stunning so we ate our breakfast overlooking the garden which was delightful. The little touches were appreciated. We can’t wait to come back!!

Exceptional Stay at Randy Pike B&B We had the most incredible stay at Randy Pike B&B in the Lake District this weekend! The rooms were absolutely exceptional, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings created a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made it hard to leave the room. The service was truly top-notch, with every need attended to promptly and with a genuine warmth that made me feel right at home. The owners are a true gem – their friendliness and unique personalities added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. It felt like staying with old friends rather than at a traditional B&B. And let's talk about the breakfast – it was nothing short of spectacular. A blue sunny morning to take up to and we were brought a delightful array of choices, all prepared with care and showcasing the best of local ingredients. It was a culinary experience that set the perfect tone for exploring the stunning Lake District. Leaving Randy Pike B&B was undoubtedly the hardest part of the trip. This hidden secret in the Lake District is a true treasure, and I feel lucky to have stumbled upon it. If you're looking for a place that offers exceptional rooms, outstanding service, delectable breakfast, and the warmth of wonderful owners, look no further. This is a stay that will create memories to cherish forever.

All the 5 star reviews are completely justified. This is so much more than a B&B! Location is stunning, rooms are incredibly well designed and decorated, breakfasts were delicious (but they are very big). The real reason this is such a great place to stay, is the family and team that run it. They do this so well and that is not through any kind of luck - it is down to a lot of incredibly hard work. To be honest, I don't quite know how they do it but they run the Randy Pike and The Jumble Rooms in Grasmere so well, you can miss the fact that the experience is completely faultless from end to end. We celebrated a birthday and had The Juniper House and the Dawson - both outstanding. For two days, we felt like we were part of the family and were able to totally relax and I don't think you can ask for more than that. Very much looking forward to our next visit.

Don’t know where to start. Booked a 2 night stay in Juniper House to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. An incredible place with attention to detail.Quirky and unique. We found it to be extremely comfortable and homely with everything we needed. Fresh milk in the fridge and drinks were much appreciated. Breakfast was just the best. Served in our room by lovely staff. The owners and staff obviously love this place. The enormous bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. As the weather was good an afternoon was well spent sat outside admiring the view and listening to the donkeys. Total relaxation. As always we had our french bulldog with us and she was made very welcome. We are planning a return visit soon as the Randy Pike is definitely our new favourite place.

Just had two nights in the Juniper House at Randy Pike and did not want to leave. The weather was atrocious so we stayed in bed for the whole day yesterday,|it was bliss, a spacious private suite with everything you could wish for. The breakfasts are on another level - the haddock kedgeree a big favourite with me, but everything was outstanding. Incredibly friendly and personable owners, and lovely staff. We were lucky enough to have been given a voucher for our stay as a wedding present but we will definitely be returning as soon as we can.|
