We sat outside as the April weather was perfect for it. Staff were polite and the food was really good. Our party of 4 all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meals. It's maybe a little overpriced and service was very slow (which is a common complaint in reviews). The restaurant wasn't busy as we dined earlier at 6pm as we had older people in our party, and we all commented on the time it took to seat us, bring drinks from the bar and food to arrive. Maybe they are taking staffing issues? The drinks were however a decent pour and we did enjoy the experience overall.

This was one of the worst experiences. Their food was too spicy. Their service was not well. And I had to pay $22 for four shrimp that we could not eat and the Italian ice drink we ordered taste like bitter seltzer water. I cannot and would not recommend anybody patronize this facility. They could have told that they would not charge us for something we didn't eat or couldn't eat due to the taste and spice. But they did not. But because I'm an honest patron I went ahead and paid the $22 for the meal we did not eat. I don't recommend this place as I stated earlier.

Food is decent but not worth the price. Iv been to a lot of stake houses and high end stake houses. The cut of meet for 55 buck stake was not great the cook was good the cut wasnt that fantastic. Slightly smaller stake butchered and trimmed would be better. Leaving you to want more is better in this case then a bigger stake. The asparagus was fantastic my only complaint would be maybe just a little bit more pepper. The potatoes were fantastic. I have a rule that i learned the hard way never pay for stake by the OZ unless its high quality meet like tomahawk or true wagu. Here they show you pay by the OZ for one of your choices but you cant select how many by the OZ. Most high end stake houses will cut down the stake but make it 3, 5 ect min so your not having an unusable cut. The wine was good. A little before i paid a staff member went threw the digning room to an elevator with plates rattling and bumping during service. For restaurant open 4 to 9 that preperation should have been done before open.

A cute place, the interior is clean and well thought out. However the service we received when we went was just okay. We tried to ask questions about the menu to our server multiple times but she just kept assuming that was our order. The food when it came out was well portioned. We got the Aspen fries, the Salmon, and the Chicken. The fries were good, if a little boring, and it was a huge serving size. The chicken was very dry, and the veggie I choose was cauliflower, quite a bit of it was burnt but it did taste overall pretty good. However the Salmon was SO good. It had a nice crunchy exterior and the interior basically melted in your mouth. If you go, I so highly reccomend the Salmon because it was the star. Overall interior is cute, food can be just okay with some stars, service.... could be improved, and the prices were fairly high for the quality of the food.

When we arrived with our reservation, it took 20 minutes to get out table ready..which when you are downtown, it's normally because you are going somewhere afterwards. The entire restaurant smelled like smoke and had a haze. Also, while seated, there were at least 4 tables around us that never got bussed. I feel bad for the waitstaff, they look exhausted and overwhelmed. The food was good, not worth the high price, but it is downtown. The calimari is mixed with zucchini, which is quite deceptive and made with corn meal..which is a unique choice. The Bolognese was good but cold on the outside and warm on the outside. If you want bread, you have to pay per a piece...and it comes charred, but good. Crispy fried brussel sprouts were bitter and not crispy at all. The pizza was super thin and not too bad.

Google
I was less than impressed by the food. The fried calamari was stringy...every bite. I'm not sure what that's about. You can tell it's breaded fresh, but the stringy thing ruined it for me. I had the half-chicken, it may have been cooked, but the skin was too rubbery. It could have used some more cooking. I only ate one wing and took the rest with us. I doubt I'm even going to eat it. I might, but it'll need more time in the oven or to have the skin removed. The food, main meal, came just minutes after we started into the calamari. You'd think they'd give you time to enjoy the appetizer before your main dish arrived. Maked me believe the food was sitting in warming trays waiting to be served. I'm disappointed, especially for a restaurant that can charge better than average prices. Cotton candy was the best part. Oh, but that didn't require kitchen skills. If invited to go again, it's a hard pass.

I’m really disappointed with this Place because my Family and my friends went to San Antonio for Vacations but The Manager and the waitress of this Place turned it into a Nightmare. My Friend and I ordered a Well done Ribeye Steak and there were like a piece of Carbon I kindly asked the waitress to replace them for a good Ribeyes but after a couple minutes the Manager appeared with a not really good manner telling me that he can’t not exchange our Ribeye because we asked for a well done and they were well done and if he replace them we must have to pay for them. my answer was that why do I have to pay for something that it was not eatable. He said that if I was refusing to pay he was going to call the Police then all the kids started to cry and no body finish their food and my Friend told me that he was going to Pay PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES

This was our first time dining at Range and certainly won't be our last! My husband and I came out for a good date night spot and enjoyed wonderful service from Raquel (hopefully correct spelling). She was so attentive and spot in with all of her recommendations. The food itself was positively fantastic down to each sauce and buttery glaze. I will 100/10 recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and welcoming restaurant on the river walk.

Yelp
Great food and bar service for an office holiday party for 30 people in the event room upstairs. Food quality was excellent, noise level better than expected, and restaurant very clean and well run. The roasted chicken and meatloaf dishes on the fixed group menu were standouts from the typical catered group meals you get at weddings and large parties like this. Pleasant surprise! Downstairs bar has a good selection, including Weller 12 bourbon at a reasonable price. The mixed drinks were all well reviewed by other guests. The relatively affordable $8 valet is highly recommended (validated ticket) at this hotel-based eatery in downtown San Antonio for ease of entry/exit. Bathrooms are only on the main level, if considering their party room on the second floor, but there is an elevator for anyone needing it. Overall, Range crushed it on all angles for our group event. I'd definitely go back for a regular meal and definitely will recommend it to friends for group events of 20-35 people.

Yelp
My friends and I have season tickets to the Majestic, and we always go out for dinner before a show. We looked into this place years ago and thought it was too pricey, but last night we went and it wasn't expensive at all. My dinner, with tip, was under $30. The atmosphere is nice, and the location is good. We sat outdoors because the weather was perfect, and while we were next to the River Walk, we couldn't really see it because we were at street level. We had a good view of Houston Street, and there were music performances as part of Holidays on Houston, and also a 5K race that went right by. If you go here on a Tuesday night, there's free parking one block away (St. Mary's and Travis garage--but make sure you are parking in the city-owned portion). Service was fine, and the food was fine.

Yelp
Staying at Embassy Suites, which offers Range as their in room dining option. Ordered food that took over 1 1/2 hours to be delivered. Appears server wrote down wrong room number 108 vs 801. Since it was wrong room, food sat in restaurant and delivered after I called to check on it. Hot food was ice cold, salad was swimming in water. Server apologized and asked for credit card to charge me. As I complained and told her I didn't want awful food, she offered to hug me. What a horrible experience for $50.00.

Emily T.

Yelp
Service was very attentive. The space is old world elegant and was decorated tastefully for the holiday. The wine list was small but had some good offerings and pours were generous. The gnocchi and pasta bolognese dishes we shared for our main course were tasty and we left happy.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
One of the best meals I've had in the U.S.. In town for work and wanted to try something away from the River Walk. I was on my way to a burger joint when I walked by Range and went in on a whim. I sat at the bar by myself. The only negative to my experience was that it took a while for the bar tender to greet me. He was busy and attentive after the initial greeting though. I settled on the pork chop with fried brussles sprouts. All entrees come with the roasted potatoes. I also had a old fashioned. The pork chop was amazing. Cooked to perfection with great flavor. The crispy bacon crumble on top added a nice texture to the moist pork. The brussles sprouts also had amazing flavor and were cooked perfectly. The old fashioned was smooth and tasty. It is a little spendy but totally worth it.

Steve G.

Yelp
I liked it. And some new colleagues for lunch here and had the steak salad. Salad was very good and the steak was well cooked. Nice ambience in this restaurant and would like to come back for a more intimate dinner with my wife.

Frances E.

Yelp
The best steaks ever it was a great experience. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Excited to go back. Ambiance was so intimate

Terry R.

Yelp
Adequate waitstaff would help. We were captive for our Xmas Eve fixed menu dinner. $65 per person waiting 2.5 hours & still no dessert or check. Don't do it. First 2 courses were so large we boxed the entire entrees to take before we fell asleep. Still can't leave w/o dessert or check. Waitstaff apologizes every time she comes to table, lies saying " it's being plated now." Fixed menu should be ready. Grrrr

Carter M.

Yelp
Excellent pulled mozzarella and superb bolongese. Love the Cesar prep too. Better to go later in day. We went earlier and the vibe wasn't there yet

Michael C.

Yelp
Had a fantastic server - Raquel. Great food and the pricing was very reasonable. Excellent steaks and pasta. Really enjoyed the cotton candy ending!

Yelp
This is the second restaurant I was hesitant to try because of the reviews, the first being Chart House. I had previously tried Tre Trattoria which is also a Jason Dady restaurant and that place was fantastic. I went ahead and made reservations for Mothers Day dinner and am so very glad I did. We paid to park at the lot across the street, so that was easy. The hotel lobby is nice. Walking into the restaurant we were immediately greeted, reservations were checked and we headed upstairs to our table. We got started with a cocktail and a charcuterie board, both were great. Continued with the Caesar salad, the chicken was so delicious. Our entrees were the shrimp toscana, bacon crusted pork chop and roasted half chicken. EVERYTHING and I do mean everything was fantastic! The flavors the tenderness of the meat and the service were all 5 stars. Jason Dady and staff really know good food. Thank you all for a wonderful Mothers Day dinner.

Scrappy D.

Yelp
Steak was undercooked. Medium is not the same as rare. Someone needs to explain this to the chef. Ambience was decent.

Frank

Yelp
Had the steak and a cocktail 10/10 One of the best steaks I've had since a Waygu Tomahawk at Salvatore's in NY!

Darlene K.

Yelp
Came here for restaurant week. Really excited to try places around town. Just FYI, the restaurant week menu online does not match the one that's in the restaurant. The beef medallions are a $15 addition. We had 4 people in our party and we split our check among the two couples. Ours came to $206 and the other came out to $255. I made a mistake by ordering the Caesar salad. It was bland. I like tasting all the ingredients. I was disappointed that it wasn't made table-side, but I understand that being difficult during a busy week. The Brussels sprouts were tossed with a delicious dressing and had this almond nougat crumble. They weren't what I would call crispy. (The ones at best quality daughter are divine) The bread course was $3.50 pp and it was good. Sourdough with herb butter. Wagyu arancini was ok. I kinda regret getting it. I ordered the salmon. It was bland. I wish there was a sear on it. Also, I was looking forward to Israeli couscous, but it was served with quinoa. IMO, the flavor of the quinoa didn't go with the flavor of the salmon. It needed some kind of citrusy note to compliment the earthiness of the smoked salmon and the quinoa. Strangely our server confirmed that it would be served with couscous. My friend said the bolognese was very very salty. The ricotta cake was very dense and cold. I liked the touch of salt and the lightness of the vanilla mascarpone. The same almond nougat crumble from the Brussels sprouts was on top. My other friend chose the Nutella 3x and loved it. Edit: I forgot a detail of the dining service. My friend had ordered the wine pairing. The glass would arrive halfway through the course. This is something I noticed during the meal, but totally forgot about til I had some wine today.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on a weekday. This place is very large, but it was pretty quite when we came. We walked from our hotel, so I am not sure about the parking situation. Food came from up a set of stairs, but I don't know if there is additional seating up there. I think our server was the only one there, but she was attentive. I got the meatloaf and my wife got Caesar salad and a Margherita pizza. The meatloaf was great, but got a little too sweet the more I ate. The pizza and salad were both really good too. We couldn't really see from our table, but there is a wall of the restaurant that looks over the river walk

James W.

Yelp
The potatoes were horrible There is a bone in ribeye on the picture for the restaurant but they do not have and limited selection of steak. The steak was ok Tomatoes and cucumbers would have been better with just a little goat cheese instead of it falling off the plate. They need to do better for a high end hotel

LaRonda G.

Yelp
3.5 stars. This is a harder review to write because I am torn on my experience. My friends and I decided this was a perfect time to try this restaurant since it was featured in Restaurant Week. So we (party of 4) stopped by on a cold and wet Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a spacious dining area. Unfortunately, we were near the door, so every time someone entered or exited, we were hit with some cold wind. Our waiter was nice and we made our selections. For our first course, we had the mushroom bisque, Ceasar salad, and I had the green apple salad. My friends like the mushroom bisque, and our salads were pretty good. Mine could have used a touch more dressing, but that is my personal preference. Next, our table had two orders of the salmon and two orders of the steak. Our salmon was a bit dry. You could tell it was overcooked as soon as it hit the table. However, we didn't send it back. I just asked for some melted butter to assist with the flavor. The steaks were okay but also unevenly cooked. They did have a good flavor and were seasoned well, just a little too well on the outside and little under done on the inside. Next came our desserts. We had two orders of the Mississippi mud pie and two of the ricotta cake. The mud pie is a chocolate lovers' dream come true. The ricotta cake was very flavorful with just a touch of sweetness but very dense. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't a great meal. With the cost of everything going up, it makes you scrutinize your experiences at restaurants more. With the number of places to eat in San Antonio, I am not sure if I would come back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Range. I hadn't been to this location since it was the German restaurant years ago. First on parking. Across the street lot from Embassy Suites was outrageously expensive. But you can park at Embassy Suite valet for only $9 with Range validated parking which was awesome. Cliff Notes, I enjoyed everything at Range although I felt all dishes (except dessert) were overly salted. Fortunately I like salt but was still bit overwhelmed by it as the dominant flavor. I joined my friend who had already gotten settled and established a relationship with the server. He made several recommendation on drinks which fit the bill perfectly. He was very attentive and I'd rate the server alone with 4 stars. I had the a delicious salad with pecans, feta, strawberries etc. It was wonderful except tasted salty for some reason. Everything else about it was great so I polished it off in no time. I was only able to eat half the small filet because so salty. I chose the roasted potatoes and charred green beans which were good but I wished I'd chosen mashed potatoes or something with some moisture as the steak was tender, medium rare but not juicy. The Nutella dessert was delish but I really didn't taste much Nutella. It was yummy regardless. So....did I mention any of my criticisms during the multiple visits the server and manager made to our table to ask how the meal was going? No, because my dining partner was enjoying her birthday meal and I didn't want to break the celebratory mood by complaining. However I wish restaurant managers would change their check in approach. Asking questions like "How would you describe your meal?" Would be better than asking if everything is going ok. I would have said good but salty. So if you are downtown in Embassy Suites and looking for a nice but not outrageously expensive steak dinner, Range could work. However I'd rather travel a bit to Maverick, Texas de Brazil, Bohanans or Brasserie Mon Chou Chou to ensure you're getting a well balanced flavor profile.

Yelp
Really enjoy this restaurant. 99% of the menu is delicious. High points are the steaks and pork chop. But my fav is the pepperoni pizza. Amazing!!! Only bad thing on the menu is the table side Caesar. Lacked any flavor.

Ralph J.

Yelp
The finer Mignon was 5 Star ! Excellent The Brussel sprouts was also 5 star Bolognese pasta 3-4 not bad ,not great . Bread with mozzarella was excellent . Decent ambiance. Service was very slow ,recurved dinner. Before drinks . Drinks 4-5 star

David T.

Yelp
One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Perfection. Loved the cotton candy also. Service was great & a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Range

Brent K.

Yelp
Great experience. Cool place. Had the tenderloin and the wagyu meatloaf. Both were great. The meatloaf was a true favorite as it was very unique. Why not a 5. Because for some resins the sides were cold. Not sure why but a rest like this with a top chef on a Monday night when place was at 10% capacity food should have been hot and spot on. Still loved the experience.

Howard W.

Yelp
AVOID THIS PALACE!!! Drinks were in dirty glasses and horribly made. Service was slow and disrespectful. Seats and chairs disgustingly dirty.

Heidi D.

Yelp
So awesome!! The cotton candy compliment is the best . Wait staff is amazing!!! Every single item we got was incredible!!!

Alejandro H.

Yelp
Celebrated a birthday here and it's my third time dining at Range. Every time the food has exceeded expectations specially the tableside Caesar salad. The service has been great every time and the environment gives Italian restaurant vibes. Make sure to try an Italian cocktail and the cotton candy when you visit!

Mark H.

Yelp
Food was good, service was good but we did have to wait a bit and our waitress upsold everything. When 4 shrimp to go on your pasta cost almost as much as your pasta ... it is a problem,

David W.

Yelp
The salmon was burned on the salmon salad. They wouldn't make it right and wanted to charge for a replacement piece. Poor customer service!

Mo J.

Yelp
The service was not that great. We had to return our steak 3 times because it wasn't right. The drink we ordered was NOT good at all and they said oh because you ordered it we will charge you for it even though we took it and made a different drink. The food was bland. Honestly the customer service was horrible and I wont be returning at all. If the service was better I may return but I won't be. They should hire better staff.

Curt J.

Yelp
We're in love with the place. The portions were insane for the price. You expect quality or value, how is the both? It's a super cute restaurant, classy and romantic and social all at once. The food was all amazing, fresh, and way too much. We LOVED the table side Caesar salad. Our waitress assured us it was her first time. We went heavy on the anchovies and lemon and it was the freshest thing ever ever ordered. The roasted chicken was a little on the salty side for me, but honestly everything was great. The blue martini was stellar. This is an instant new fixture for us. Don't sleep on it, it's nice but very reasonably priced!

Doretta W.

Yelp
Out of work late tonight left me an op to visit a location I have been meaning to. I am so disappointed in myself for not trying Range sooner...Amazing .. food, services, menu, atmosphere, drinks! Started with an old fashioned made with Woodford and an app of deviled eggs topped with mustard seeds and brisket. Creamy. Flavorful. She also brought a blueberry muffin with pink peppercorn butter. Followed by brisket tacos with cilantro, onions and avocado to top. Side of beans. TIP: the side sauce is tasty but seriously hot! Finished up with Mississippi mud pie and coffee. The service was excellent! Suggestions were greatly appreciated. They serve cotton candy at the end ... how unique!

Katie N.

Yelp
I went for restaurant week with my husband and friend. The atmosphere is lovely and the service and friendliness of everyone who works there deserves 5 stars alone! The food was very hit and miss. The appetizers- the hush puppies were delicious, but my husbands queso was cold (but the flavor was great), where it was hardened a bit. The wild mushroom bisque was good, but could've been warmer and was too salty. Luckily the entrees were melt in your mouth amazing. I had the wagyu meatloaf, my friend the Bolognese, and my husband the steak. Everyone loved theirs, and we tried each other's. My husband said it was probably the best steak he's ever had. We also had a side of jalapeño grits. They were very spicy, but lacked flavor which was disappointing. I would give them another chance as everything wasn't bad. I just feel they were having an off day.

Jeremiah N.

Yelp
We went for Christmas dinner. When we made The reservation we were assured they would Have a regular menu. When we arrived we were told they only had a Christmas menu. Unfortunately a portion of our group did not like the one choice. I thought dinner was delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating. I have a 1.5 year old that likes to run around and be fussy and they took it in stride. The ambiance is nice

Randy V.

Yelp
I was expecting great service ended up having a terrible experience. From the beginning, I had to wave down someone to take our order with only four tables being in use including ours. We ordered a Cesar Salad for two that should have been made at our table and we never received it. We ordered shrimp appetizers and asked for them as a meal and also ordered a pizza that we asked to come out at the same time--again did not happen. I ordered the pork chop and it came out raw. I sent it back and got it back almost 30 minutes later, after I had already asked for it to be packaged to go. For all of the mistakes they made I received a free dessert! After talking with the manager, he offered to take the salad off of the bill.......the salad we never received. Overall very unprofessional service and will not be returning again.

Kathy H.

Yelp
Open concept restaurant located steps from the Majestic Theater and along the River Walk. Beautiful long bar immediately welcomes you insides the restaurant. The hubs had their bolognese and I had the grilled chicken Cesar salad. Both dishes were very good. Full bar and friendly staff made the experience nice.

Monica G.

Yelp
We had an excellent lunch here. The brussels sprouts were amazing. The chicken and salad or awesome as well. Very juicy and flavorful!!! Great spot for lunch or dinner downtown. Easy access to Houston st.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Service and food was 5 stars. We had an amazing experience thanks to our waitress Amanda she was excellent. Everything we ordered including drinks was top-notch. This place was close to closing time and they never rushed and gave us excellent customer service. If you're in San Antonio this is a must go place. Great management.

Lori H.

Yelp
Great dinner our first night in San Antonio. And fabulous conversation and drinks with John the bartender our last day.... Highly recommend

Kent R.

Yelp
Range is a place that I've been meaning to go to for a while. Decided to scope it out on a chill Sunday night. What a fantastic decision!! Walked in and sat at the bar. Snagged a daq and an Aperol Spritz which was absolutely delicious. We got there shy of 8pm and didn't want to hold up the kitchen or anything so we ordered quick. Grilled Octopus was solid. Not one bad bite, it was tender and didn't have that weird chew that octo tends to get it hit prepared right. Meatballs. Literally the best I've ever had. I love meatballs, make them, eat them, these are just stupid good. If I'm downtown I will easily pop in for those and some wine. Absurdly good Then there was the steak. About the size of a baseball, medium rare so good I cut it with a spoon. Lastly, the "mud pie." If you know Dady, you know that's the Nutella x 3. It tastes just as decadent and amazing as it did 6 years ago when I tried it at Tre Trattoria. Oh yeah, the restaurant is gorgeous. Setting is amazing. Go, get meatballs, some wine and enjoy yourself!!

Shelley H.

Yelp
The overall restaurant is disappointing. Food service and ambiance are not commensurate With menu pricing. It's a stretch to label it a Tuscan steakhouse. Next time we'll stick with Bohanons or the Palm.

Shane H.

Yelp
We went for my wife's birthday. It was an early dinner. We were a walk-in. The sat us right away. It was early. The dining experience was amazing. The waiter was very helpful. Cheese pizza for the little one was amazing she almost ate to much. Caesar salads made table side were amazing. Wife said best ever. Old fashions had a good bite not too sweet. Fist bees knees, I don't care for gin but it was amazing. The portions are huge. Had the fillet, it was amazing. Wonderful cook and the outside was just crisp to lock in the flavor. The use of salt and herbs made the steak and potatoes amazing. Amazing spaghetti bolognese. Desert was the part to top off the night. Very much want to go back.

Justin W.

Yelp
I am active duty Army and was promoted this past Monday. To celebrate my promotion my best friend who flew in from North Carolina, my fiancée and I, decided to go out for a fancy steak dinner. We decided we would spare no cost and ordered two ribeyes medium rare and the gnocchi. The food came out in a timely fashion but almost immediately I noticed my ribeye was quite firm, I cut into it and it didn't even have a shade of pink left. It wasn't even medium. I told the waiter who was visibly shocked and immediately apologized once he saw my steak even said "oh yeah, that's not even remotely medium". He repeatedly apologized and said he'd bring two new steaks out immediately (my friend's steak was medium). Thinking the issue was resolved and not really upset, as mistakes happen. We waited. Our waiter actually picked up our sides as they were getting cold and said he'd bring new ones out, with the new steaks which I appreciated. Then, the manager comes back with our original steaks telling me that the chef is confused as "this is our medium rare" I asked him to look at it. He got uncomfortable and just asked if we did in fact want them more rare. To which I replied "yes medium rare please". He took them back again, my fiancé had already finished her entree at this point. Which she enjoyed very much. The new steaks came out and, presumably out of pettiness, they were blue. Cool on the inside and barely charred on the outside. We told them just to leave them as at this point I was very frustrated and would rather have an under cooked $56 dollar steak than over cooked. The waiter came back and repeatedly apologized for the manager bringing us our original steaks back basically admitting to the managers inexperience and unprofessionalism. But he never brought us new sides. I ate half of my steak before I lost my appetite, asked the waiter for a to go box and mentioned the missing potatoes. He apologized and brought two fresh orders to go. My fiancée's drink also remained empty for almost the entire dinner, the waiter asked my friend and I repeatedly if we would like another beer but failed to see hers was empty. The manager kept starting at our table after we originally sent the steaks back making my fiancée eventually uncomfortable so we did not order desserts. The tab was over $186 for food quality and service that would've been overshadowed by any Texas Roadhouse. An absolute waste of money. And a terrible ending to a very important day in our lives. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Sheri T.

Yelp
We ate here after spending all day exploring the city. We were staying at Embassy Suites so we decided to give this a try. Very disappointed. Fried calamari was fried well, but zero flavor. When we asked for a salt shaker, they brought us salt in a small plastic cup. The med rare filet was overcooked. Brussels sprouts and side of potatoes were cooked well but this meal had no seasoning. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I would give her 5 stars.

Yelp
We ordered takeout here since we were staying at the Hotel. After a while of holding to see if they could accomodate a to-go order, we ordered and brought the food to our room. Everything was nasty in general. The pizza was overcooked and salty all over, especially on the crust. The cauliflower pasta was bland. The salad had so much vinegar instead of vinaigrette and was warm by the time we got it. We hated to have spent so much money there for disgusting food when we could have just went down the River Walk and gotten something edible, which is what we did the remainder of our stay. Definitely would not recommend. Take your money elsewhere.

Yelp
My wife and I took a chance last night at Range before heading to the Majestic to see Clue. Normally, we make reservations at Bohanaans and are never disappointed, even with $300+ price tag. So... Range: The atmosphere was quiet and open (somewhat inviting). We made reservations and arrived a few minutes late, but it wasn't a problem. We were promptly seated, and the waiter was quickly at our table. We started with deviled eggs, and the hand pulled mozzerella. The deviled eggs (with truffle oil) put a new spin on a familiar favorite. I personally loved the eggs, but my wife thought the oil made them too rich. The hand pulled mozzerella, though... seriously, seriously, amazing. Scott (our waiter) did not pressure us, did not rush us, and was friendly, cordial, professional, and kept us informed of the status of our entrees through the dinner. Then we move to the entrees... My wife chose the gnocchi whis she described as incredibly flavorful, with a great temperature, and back bacon and cream sauce put it over the top. I went straight for the pork chop (garl8c and bacon make everything better, right?!).The answer is yes, yes, it does! A thick cut pork chop, perfectly cooked, great sear, accompanied with perfectly seasoned potatoes, and fried Brussel sprouts. I can not tell you how pleased we both were with our choice to go to Range. Now for the cons: The price. We are accustomed to paying for high-quality dinner experiences. Again, we frequently visit Bohanans, Perry's, Signature, and establishments of this caliber. I would honestly put Range in the company of these restaurants, but I was honestly disappointed when the bill came. I was shocked at $106, when I was expecting at least $250+. To the management: Know the value of your food!! I would easily pay 3x the price for this quality of food. But seriously, great job, and we will be back frequently!!

Yelp
Scott was a pro, and guided us through a wonderful meal. He makes a fine Caesar salad, too. Recommend the rib eye and the pork chop. Ask about some cotton candy!

Yelp
Service was bad. Place was cold and food was over cooked. I was disappointed. Filet Mignon

Yelp
Parking: unable to speak to this since we walked. Wait: seated immediately on a Friday evening with our reservation. Menu: limited menu but that's a good thing. It allows the chef to specialize and create great items. Food: Really amazing. The bread board was great - the mixture of the apricot-butter and the goat cheese and cream cheese mix was awesome. The filet was just a bit overcooked - closer to medium then medium rare like I asked - but otherwise great. The bread pudding tried to replace my wife but after a brief argument, my wife won out. Wine: they have the largest selection of Turley Zinfandels available that I've ever seen. Very good selection. Ambiance: Quiet enough to hear the people at your table. Loud enough to feel like no one is eavesdropping.

Yelp
Located inside our hotel, they fed me the best Filet Mignon I've ever had. I mean it was perfect. The service was unbeatable. Atmosphere was warm in a very cold night.
