"Dive or Snorkel Tiputa Tiputa Pass is the space where the reef wall breaks, allowing marine life to stream into and out of the lagoon. Diving or snorkeling through the pass is a magnificent experience as long as you just go with the flow. (They call this "shooting the pass" because you'll be dropped off into the open-ocean side of the pass and then drift through it back to the safety of the lagoon.) Although you'll travel in a swift current, it's perfectly safe, and you'll get to fly past thousands of fish as you do it, making for even more excitement."

Top tier operation! We did 6 dives over 3 days and I wouldn’t dive with anyone else! From being greeted at our accommodations to when we said our goodbyes, the owner and crew at Rangiroa Plongee are world class. Claudio, the owner was a warm welcome and was very accommodating throughout our trip. We dove with Gael for two days and he was amazing. He knows this pass like the back of his hand. His briefings were thorough and his English was great (we don’t speak French 😅) We got to dive with Canella on our last day and she was so full of enthusiasm! I love to see guides enjoying the dives as much as we are! I will round it up by saying both captains that we dove (Midi and Romeo) with were also very skilled in the pass and I was in awe at how they always knew where we were even when the plans changed due to conditions. I’ve been diving at many destination dives all over the world and I felt very at ease and taken care of in the hands of this operation. We will be back!

Top Dive Center! Top gear, top stuff everything is nice! And free nitrox as well 😍 And To follow up on the previous comment, I absolutely did not notice any boss complex in Gael; he is a super dive guide! Would recommend every time

Great dive spot with a great team! We were there with two couples of experienced divers in June. From the first minute we felt very much welcome. Gaël was very supportive from pick-up til managing all issues we had due to sudden sickness of some of us. A great team of NiNie & LoLo & The Captain and all the others made our stay unforgettable. Always a smile, always a fresh word, a joke on the lips. Well organised, good briefing- but you never know - in the water it will be different. Great spot, we saw almost all kind of sharks, white-tipped, black-tipped, silver-tipped, grey, hammer-head, finally two big tiger sharks at the last day. Phantastic place! Phantastic team! Marurrur ! CU soon

Great diving experience - we did 1 refresher & 3 dives, each fantastic. Claudio took us on all 4 dives & was great to dive with. He was thorough and patient, and we were able to see so much, including school of sharks, barracudas and a pod of dolphins. Highly recommend this spot!

1. Gael : a little boss syndrome. Super bad guide i’ve ever encountered. 2. They talk bad about the other dive center. They said that the other dc copied them. And they wanted to sue them. I dont think its ethical and unnecessary to talk about that kinda things with your clients. We came to dive not for your drama. Go with other dc, avoid this one!!

We are snorkelers and took the drift snorkel tour of Tiputa Pass and The Aquarium. Claudio was a great guide and VERY professional. A young woman had a jellyfish attach to her and she was handled expertly and calmly by Claudio while ensuring the rest of us were not forgotten. We were on a day trip from a cruise ship and they were careful about our time constraints, and the price of the tour was reasonable, as well. The drift snorkel is an amazing experience - not to be missed - and Claudio made it perfect! Really great service!

Great diving center!! Tiputa pass is an incredible place to enjoy sea life and Rangiroa Plongee has a great team for that. Special mention to Virginie (Ninie), who help us a lot as my wife and I didn’t have too many previous dives.

So thankful for three beautiful days diving with Rangiroa Plongee! We were lucky to have Virginie as our guide- she was so kind and made us feel very comfortable! I appreciated this shop had included nitrox and rentals so we didn’t have to bring gear. They picked us up each morning and we went out in a small group (5-6 people) on a zodiac boat and dove around Tiputa Pass. Depending on the tide schedule, your two dives may both be in the morning or one in the morning and one in the afternoon (keep in mind when scheduling other activities!!). I was thrilled to see two hammerheads our first day and a dolphin on our last day!! The water is so warm with great visibility and so many beautiful sharks, fish, turtles, rays, and eels. Virginie did a great job checking on the group throughout the dive and pointing out cool things like stonefish!
