Stay here!! Stay here!! My family and I had the best stay with Ranguana. The cabanas were very clean, beds incredibly comfortable, and the beach scene was ideal. The cabanas are so close to the water. Within walking distance of all the places you need to go for food, drinks, and shopping. Joy was such a gracious host who provided insight on best sites and sounds of Placencia. I really hope to return b/c I would love to stay at Ranguana again.

This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Placencia. The rooms are super clean. The ac works great. The location is great. And Joy is the absolute best in customer service !

The most beautiful and comfortable and perfect little beach cabins in all of Placencia! You cannot beat the location, cutest stretch of the sidewalk and right by all the best places to eat, shops, easy walk to the point or to a place with a pool, and even a grocery store. Joy is a wonderful hostess, super helpful, responsive, and you can tell she and her staff take pride in keeping Ranguana lodge super clean, homey, and adorable!! We didn’t want to leave! 💕🏝️

We have stayed with Joy for many years and love it here! She keeps the cabanas so clean, well provisioned and in good repair. It is near the beach bar so the music can be loud but usually shuts down by midnight. Being right on the beach and close to restaurants and grocery stores is wonderful! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or just a morning coffee. The owner and her staff are all friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This was a romantic vacation celebrating birthday & anniversary. We really loved the beach front cabana, which was recommended to us by our friend Elisa. The owner Joy was wonderful and very accommodating. The room was beautiful and so fresh, with a Caribbean vibe. Great kitchen and beds, & the patio was our favorite place. With an incredible breeze and view, we left our doors open and enjoyed the hammock and eating outside on our patio. At sunrise we always went out to the beach with our coffee & every day the sunrise was more spectacular than the day before. We enjoyed the village and the people were so kind and welcoming. We ate Delicious seafood every day. We will definitely return to Belize and highly recommend the Ranguana Lodge.

Very nice little cottages right at the beach. Very cozy, super clean, even the hammock was freshly washed. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are comfy and plenty of fans are sufficient even you book without aircon. The location is great, right on the walk and the beautiful beach. Next to a beach bar, so you will hear a bit of music in the evening but it was not crazy loud or crazy partying people. It did not bother me at all. I really enjoyed staying here, would definitely stay here again. Placencia is a very nice little town. I just hope it stays like this. Hopefully no Hilton, Marriott etc. will ever get the permission to build hotels here. And hopefully the government will stop selling land to rich americans. That doesnt help local tourism or the locals itself, it just raises the prices.

Absolutely loved everything about our beach front cabin. Amenities and housekeeping are impeccable. Walking distance to so many great restaurants. Sunrises were so beautiful. Ocean breeze was so nice we didn't need to turn on the AC, bit nice to have it available.
