I recently stayed at Ranjana Guest House in Hampi, and it was a wonderful experience! The location is unbeatable – it’s just a short walk from the iconic Virupaksha Temple, with stunning views of the temple, Hemakutta Hill, and Matanga Hill right from the guest house. The market and several food joints are also nearby, making it very convenient for exploring and dining. While the washroom could use some maintenance, everything else was great. The real highlight, though, was the hospitality. Mrs. Ranjana Amma, treated us like family, and her warmth and kindness made our stay feel like home. Her entire family was incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with any queries or requests. Overall, a fantastic stay in a perfect location with the most gracious host – highly recommend Ranjana Guest House to anyone visiting Hampi! Thank you so much Amma 🙏🏻

Terrible experience in Hampi! I have booked an Ac room two months back after talking to the lady owner Ms.Poornakala. Also paid the advance amount of Rs. 2000/- and got the confirmation message from her as well. But upon reaching the site, all the rooms were full. At first she was adamant that there is no booking. But when I showed her her confirmation message, then she was like she forgot to write my name in her diary. What a lame excuse!!! She further added that It's a 31st december weekend and room prices are soaring high. So you won't get a room for the quoted price of Rs.3000/-. It was evident that she got more money, so she gave our room to somebody else. Very unprofessional guesthouse !!!

Homestay Ranjana in Humpi was a great, peaceful place to stay, with a beautiful view, a clean and comfortable rooms. owners Purnkala aunty was very sweet and she and her team were always available for any help. The auto driver Jilan provided by them was best. He has shown all famous spots explaining the history of same Highly recommend Ranjana Guest House to anyone visiting Hampi!

The homestay is very cozy with spacious room and at a walking distance from Virupaksha temple serving a great view of same from the terrace. The family running the homestay is very friendly and treated us with good hospitality. You can get tea and coffee at an added price. They also have a tie up with auto drivers and arranged a driver for tour about hampi and also a drop to the hospete station. The overall experience was really good and would recommend for a budget friendly comfortable stay.

I stayed here with my friends for one night. The location is very near to virupaksha temple. The house owner lady is really good. She was really humble and gentle towards us. Rooms were really clean and that feels like our home. Highlight is she even let us keep our luggage after our checkout till evening. And she let us use the restrooms for the whole day even after check out. Checkin time is at 09;30am and checkout is from 09;00am to 09:30 pm If you are visiting hampi with your friends or family must visit this home stay. This rooms felt us more good for the entire trip. Will definitely visit next time if we are going to hampi.

We were a group of four and stayed at this homestay during our visit to Hampi. The room was spacious and cozily accomodated us four. It is at a walking distance from Virupaksha temple. They also help us with auto services. Breakfast is not served here and the hotels in the vicinity serve okay food but not much great. For good food, we would suggest visiting authentic hotels in the town. Totally recommend to stay here.
