Excellent stop, full of character and good food. If you're around, passing through, I'd recommend you visit. The Comte cheese and ham toastie was excellent. With a really nice range of cakes, drinks and even merchandise, this tearoom makes it mark. I'm giving 5 stars because it is everything I hoped for and more from a tearoom in a remote train station.

Such a lovely location for anything, but a station with an amazing tearoom is certainly a decent choice. The road literally ends at the Rannoch Station, and there is a short walk on a footbridge over one of the lines to make it to the station platform, where the famous tearoom resides. If you haven't booked you may have to wait a short while, for it is rightly busy, but waiting here is no hardship. The service and food are of an excellent quality with both a potato and leek soup and Bailey's chocolate cake tried. We would heartily recommend a visit!

Nicely decorated cafe in the old train station building. There is even a honesty room for drinks/snacks/sandwiches for the tables in the station. Cakes on display look good. Hot dog was tasty, strawberry shortcake was ok. Cream scone was ok, have had worse and slightly better ones. If up that way it is definitely worth a visit, even just to see the wee mice figures that are for sale which are hand made.

Really worth the drive. Staff are excellent. Loved the food and drinks. Great environment and SO PEACEFUL. Felt like stepping back in time. Really dog friendly place, Jubal says thankyou for his biscuits.

Cycled up to the Station. Was met with great service at the Tearoom, was served a huge portion size of carrot Cake that was amazing. What more can you ask for 5/5

Remote station but in great location for a trip into the wilderness. Good for walks hikes or bike rides if you know where to go.

Too busy for any take away hot food. Short staffed?? Rightly pre booking for sitting in, as very small, however, was made to feel more of a burden than anything. Staff directed us to their small visitor room with an honesty box for payment. Fresh sandwiches in fridge (ham and cheese and egg mayo) and a selection of “help yourself” hot and cold drinks, fruit and biscuits. After a long drive here, would’ve expected a little more of a welcome. Weekends will be busier I would’ve thought! Very disappointed.

Amazing food, and for me personally a great example of Scottish hospitality. On my way to the tearoom I tore a 12 inch gash in my shorts. Both owners offered help, and mrs. owner went to their house to fetch needle and thread (in the right colour!). She even offered to make the repair but I refused (no 6 stars here) and set to the needlework. For lunch, do make a reservation. When you’re a group, do so some days before.
