We have gone to Ranthambore fort in September. It took us 20 25 minutes from our hotel to reach there. The journey from hotel fort and vice versa in canter were quite amazing with landscape like rivera waterfalls and mountains soo beautiful animals like crocodile 🐊 were resting. We reached fort. It was quite big and i recommend to take water bottle with u and get wash room. We had a guide with us who guided about history of fort. Stairs were high. We enjoyed and fun ..

Excellent fort to explore right in the heart of the jungle. Very interesting history and great ruins to wander around. You can see monkeys and maybe even a tiger on the drive there!

Nice ancient historical place. Many temples are located and many historical events hidden inside the fort. Many things to explore. Though many places are closed due to rain and safety. You need to park the car or two wheeler at the common parking at main road and take the jeeps. The jeep costs 200 one side and takes up to 10 members.

It's a must experience. Requires trek in nature and beauty. There is a Ganesha temple at top. To reach the fort, you need to go via jeep which even makes the whole ride amazing...

I recently visited Ranthambore Fort, located within the Ranthambore National Park, and it was truly a memorable experience. Even though we explored it from the outside, the fort’s majestic presence left a lasting impression. Perched high on a hill, the fort overlooks vast forests and gives a panoramic view of the park’s natural beauty. The massive gates, ancient walls, and stone pathways speak of its glorious past and royal heritage. It’s not just a historical monument, but also a place that connects you with nature, as the surrounding greenery and wildlife add to the charm. The fort has a serene atmosphere, and from the outside itself, you can feel the grandeur and strength it once held. It’s an ideal spot for history lovers, photographers, and those who simply want to soak in Rajasthan’s cultural richness amidst nature. A visit to Ranthambore feels incomplete without witnessing this fort—even from outside, it stands as a proud symbol of history and strength.

🏰 Ranthambore Fort – Where History Meets Wilderness I recently had the opportunity to visit the magnificent Ranthambore Fort, and I must say, it’s an absolute gem among India’s historical treasures. Nestled in the heart of Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, this fort stands as a testament to the grandeur and architectural brilliance of a glorious bygone era. As you approach, the towering walls and majestic gateways instantly leave you awestruck. Perched high on a hill, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape — the rugged charm of the Aravalli hills blending beautifully with the lush greenery of the forest below. Every corner of the fort speaks of artistic excellence. The intricate stonework, carvings, and sculptures reflect the mastery of ancient craftsmen. Exploring the palaces, temples, and royal chambers feels like walking through history, each section whispering tales of valor and legacy. One of the highlights of my visit was the Ganesh Temple within the fort. Housing a magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha, the temple draws both devotees and travelers from far and wide. The spiritual serenity of the place, surrounded by ancient walls and forest silence, creates a truly divine atmosphere. What makes the experience even more special is how seamlessly history and nature coexist here. While exploring, I spotted colorful birds, playful langurs, and graceful peacocks — a delightful reminder that this fort isn’t just a monument, but part of a living ecosystem. Being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ranthambore Fort holds immense cultural and global significance. The ongoing conservation efforts to preserve its beauty are truly commendable. Overall, my visit was unforgettable — a perfect blend of heritage, spirituality, and natural splendor. If you’re a history enthusiast, wildlife lover, or someone who simply enjoys exploring timeless places, Ranthambore Fort deserves a top spot on your travel bucket list.

What an incredible and beautiful sighting of Riddhi’s two cubs! They walked right beside us and then gracefully led us to the track. It was amazing to see how calm and comfortable they were around humans. I truly wish we humans continue to do our part to protect and preserve these magnificent, endangered beings. 🐅💛
