Google
A must must try. They have some family recipes, I’ve tried 4 flavors and all of those were amazing. For me the best were 80 percent cacao and the dulce de leche de cabra. Service was great, the staff were attentive and they allow you to try the flavors so you can decide

Google
One of the best Gelatos, chocolates and Alfajores in Buenos Aires

Abhilash Venkateshaiah

Google
Suggested by my Airbnb host, I fell in love with this ice cream shop. The flavours are amazing. I made a daily routine of going there almost everyday in the evening. I must have gone there like 15 times in total. Banana split, dark chocolate with almonds and lemon & ginger were my favourite. Bought a lot of chocolate on my way back. They taste great as well. 100% recommend both.

Google
Incredible Ice Cream! Now they have Chocolate with Almonds!!!!!! I did not realize the had an extensive variety of chocolates there as well.

Google
Well organized shop, they were busy well into the night! Delicious ice cream and great portions. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Google
Loved the ice cream!!! Tried the alfajores and are delicious. Also, the bombones are of high quality. If you visit Argentina, check out the place. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Google
Amazing and unique flavours, it's my favourite ice cream shop everytime I come to Buenos Aires, from Melbourne, Australia! Not to be missed chocolate and maracuya-kiwi, and dulce de leche and one of the 'berry' ones (many times the berry ones are sold out)

Google
After reading reviews I was curious . Coffee was nothing special , chocolate , just ok . Place did not look clean . Ice cream look good but was not tempted . Disappointed!

Yelp
Our first ice cream in Argentina, and my favorite! It's funny, there were many other much more popular places that we needed to get in line for ice cream, but I kept thinking back to this place because their ice cream was the best. Service was also very nice here since it wasn't as busy as some of the more touristy, popular places. The ice cream itself was less sugar ridden than other places and perfectly palatable.

Yelp
Loved the delicious ice cream and walking flow of this place, so unique! There's also a little courtyard filled with chairs to relax and enjoy your favorite treats.

Yelp
We love this ice cream. We went twice on our trip. We just happened to find it as we were walking. It was packed and knew we know why. It was so delicious.

Yelp
This is a sugar wonderland, I heard they are specialized in Patagonian chocolate: there are a lot of choices of chocolate, and in the back the back of the store also have a separate icecream shop. The interval is very modern and bright. A little garden in the middle under a big tree is very cozy. It's a little away from the center of the Palermo but it's worth the walk, I think this is one of the best chocolate and ice cream in town, also great place to buy some great chocolate gifts. If you want icecream pay at the front then take the receipt to the back to get icecream

Yelp
Rapanui es helado hecho en el día, cada día. Delicioso! I will be back for more next time I am in Buenos Aires.

Yelp
If you haven't had franui yet, you are missing out! I come to rapanui at least once a week to get franui and I eat it all in one sitting because it's too good

Yelp
YUMMMMM favorite ice cream spot in BA by far. Ice cream here is super thick and creamy. I love the banana split, also flan de la nona is also good. Best part is (like all other Argentine ice cream stores) you can get a kilo of it togo w as many flavors (bc why buy 5 pints of an ice cream when you can get all in a styrofoam bowl?!?) and eat some while you chill and take the rest home? This place is open until 1am and has HUGE tables inside and outside to chill and relax. Perfect wind down to a long day. ^_^

Yelp
Great place to get your sweet tooth satisfied. Argentina is famous for their dulce de leche. Tried a variety of stuff and if it was all good. Pleasant staff.

Yelp
I was visiting BA as I used to live here and I still have friends and family (stuck) here. This modern minimalist tastefully designed chain of Ice Cream stores started out as a chocolate company that was an offshoot of a long established family of chocolatiers in Bariloche (the land of chocolate being the alps of the Andes). The ice creams are luscious and from excellent ingredients. I hope they are sourced from hormone free grass fed happy cows and organic farms. (Diego- hint hint) Argentines love their ice creams and tout some high end ice cream parlours so there are plenty to choose from but when I'm in BA this is my jam.

Yelp
Best ice cream you will ever eat. Period. They also have great chocolates and treats!!!

Yelp
Creamy and rich in flavor is the best way I could sum up Rapanui. I got to experience their ice cream twice while on business in Buenos Aires. The first time because we stumbled upon it, the second time because we loved the first time so much we were stoked they had additional locations and found one close to where we were. I can't remember now which location I checked into for writing this review but both were fairly close to the 9th of July avenue. They both had you pay first by selecting size, etc. Both had a modest but powerful selection of ice cream to choose from. They both had the limited flavor I got both times because it was amazing. Think flan ice cream with the drizzle on top of flan sprinkled throughout with thick chunks of dulce de leche dotting the ice cream. Seriously the best ice cream I've ever had. My co-worker got the tiramisu the first time and then switched over to mine the second time because it was so amazing. It was a bit pricy for Argentina as a whole, but not for being in BA. The staff was as helpful as possible due to the language barrier. I will recommend Rapanui to anyone and everyone I know who is going to BA. Certainly worth stopping in if it's convenient.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and chocolate covered raspberries The house was very nice and the staff very helpful

Yelp
Did you know I almost DIED out of LOVE? And we met while I went through a BAD relationship. I just need TIME to CHILL DOWN it is not you. IT IS ME

Yelp
Best ice cream shop in town, hands down. Quite original flavours, don't miss blueberry and chocolate

Yelp
The BEST gelateria in Buenos Aires, hands down! This is my second favorite location out of the two in BsAs, my first choice and recommendation for Rapanui virgins is the one on Uruguay in Recoleta- there's a terrace! But this place is equally great being a few blocks away from Avenida de Santa Fe and close to the cemetery. This location also sells an assortment of chocolate truffles to be given as gifts. The staff is friendly and let you try anything. There's a great selection of custom flavors like Berry Champ (made with Champaign),Triple Tentacion, Rapanuino, or my favorite Cocao de 80% (dark chocolate). Best is to select two or three flavors in a bigger size, trust me you'll eat it all and be happy you did! So creamy, so good, great quality in every bite or rather lick. The space is huge with bench seating along the perimeter and high stools next to a few bar tables disburse throughout. There's also a fountain and plastic cups for water if you need to cleanse your palette. Price is average and definitely worth every penny. If I stayed in BsAs, I probably would've a) gone broke and b) gained a lot of weight because I would frequent trips to Rapanui everyday if I could! Its that amazing!

Yelp
Good varieties of flavors and plenty of seatings. Original creator of Dulce de Leche and from where Haagen Dazs "stole" the idea.

Yelp
Great ice cream....intense gelato-like flavors. For those not in the know like us.....go to the far end...order the size and pay. Take the receipt to the ice cream counter and tell them the flavors you want. Nice service...decent prices...great flavors.

Yelp
Amazing! Tastes so silky! You will not regret coming here. This is better than ice cream. It is pure heaven! They have so many different flavors and they all are delicious. They give you a huge portion so my suggestion is to share with a friend!

Yelp
Best ice cream chain in Buenos Aires! Along with Persicco. Disagree? Tell me because I'm always looking for new places to try!! El chocolate amargo 80% y el nocciola, riquísimo! Hay chocolates también, demasiado a probar en mismo tiempo. :-)
google avatar

Yelp
Ice cream from Bariloche which must be the ice cream and chocolate capitol of the world. Flavors are full, rich, and smooth. The setting is in an remodeled old house with open courtyard. There are many places to sit and enjoy your purchased flavors.

Yelp
Rapa Nui came out highly recommended not only by Yelp, but also by a Buenos Aires localite, which means a LOT! You just shouldn't Buenos Aires without eating ice creams from Rapa Nui; it's as simple as that! After spending a long day outside during summer time, we were craving for something cold and what better way to satiate those cravings than by going to Rapa Nui. The ice cream parlor looks chic and contemporary - very inviting! There are several funky tables and chairs where you can sit peacefully and enjoy each and every bite of their heavenly goodness. When you enter the shop, you walk over to the far end to the counter, to buy a ticket for the cup size. Then show the ticket and choose your flavors. We tried five different flavors and loved each and every one of them. If I try really hard to rate the flavors, here's my order of preference: Dulce de leche triple tentacion Vainilla con nueces pecan Marroc de Mani Gianduia di Torine Dulce de leche con leche de cabra Nevertheless, no matter what flavor you pick, you're sure to leave with a happy smile and a happy stomach.

Francis L.

Yelp
One of the best ice cream bar in BA, not the biggest selections of flavours but it seems like they doing their own flavours instead of only doing the main stream. Prices are normal.

Yelp
Do you like chocolate? You must come here. This is a chocolate lover's paradise. Would you like chocolate ice cream or hot chocolate or chocolate frozen bonbons or chocolate alfajores or maybe chocolate truffles? Yes, there's plenty of options to chose from and ultimately I was unable to decide so I tried a smorgasbord of all of them. The namesake Rapa Nui ice cream is quite delicious (dulce de leche base, with walnuts and little morsels of a crunchy brownie nuggets inside. The hot chocolate is fabulous for a cold winter's day and is thick and creamy. They have too many chocolate truffles to choose from so just take a box home. The frozen bonbons "Fra Nui" are raspberries dipped in chocolate and frozen are so delicious but must be consumed before they melt, and come in a small ice cream container. Definitely come with friends to help take in all the chocolate goodness and share. Apparently this Bariloche company took a while to share it's delights with Buenos Aires, but now they've got several stores in town.

Yelp
Best ice cream ever!! If you happened to be in Buenos Aires you should try it! I love the chocolate rapanuino

Yelp
Rapanui is hands down some of the best gelato I've ever had. I've been here twice already (and have already planned future visits) and have tried the Marroc, Lemon Pie and Frutilla. Their gelato is incredibly tasty, creamy and rich. The vaso mediano is $85 which is a great price considering the quality. The employees are welcoming and do a good job. The shop itself is inviting and many hang out with their friends here. 10/10 all the way!
google avatar

Mitch F.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype in some regard. Pretty relaxed and efficient ticket system-- decide your vaso size and pay down to the right, and then show them your ticket once your number comes to choose your flavors. Spend 3 hours sitting here talking about autonomous driving cars and sperm donation. Free water makes it so your mouth does not stay sticky--very smart.
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
I agree with the other reviewers who rate their ice cream so highly and don't have anything else to add after trying many other ice cream stores in the area. This is the place to check out. Note that you have to pay first and then bring the receipt to the ice cream service area.
google avatar

Yelp
Good alfajores and fantastic chocolate for BA. I did not try the ice cream or anything else though. Nice cafe to hang out and read/work.

Yelp
Wow! Just wow! Amazing icecream! One of the best I ever tried, really creamy, so tasty... The chocolate is to die for! I love that they have a lot unusual flavors that you won´t find everywhere. The cappuccino one is a must try.Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
Super yummy helado. The 80% chocolate flavor is to die for. Stopped by several times on our trip to try different Bariloche chocolates and grab a cappuccino. Delicious.

Yelp
The best ice cream!! Absolutely delicious! Especially the Marquis flavor.
