I think this is one of my most favourite markets in Darwin, not hard to get too either on the bus no 10. They make up paw paw salads for you on the spot. Small $6 and absolutely jammed full, very tasty. Green coconuts 🥥 too. Lots of fresh produce and things I haven’t seen or tasted before.

This store is located in the middle. At first, I walked by and saw that it was selling at 1kg/2.5, which seemed quite cheap, so I bought a few. Then, I went to check out other stores and came back out within 5 minutes, only to find that the price had dropped to 1kg/2. Although 2.5 was already cheap, I felt deceived. I asked them why they did this since I had just bought some less than 5 minutes ago. They simply replied that the price had dropped and then started playing dumb, ignoring me. I bought quite a lot, and the price difference was over 10 dollars. Although it’s not a lot of money, I still feel cheated.

This is by far my fave market in Darwin. Such a multi cultural vibe you forget you're in Australia. Really friendly vendors and awesome green paw paw salad and a D Town coffee van! I'm an addict, and when I return to Darwin after a stint away I come here to feel instantly st home.

Definitely a farmers and food market. You have a large number of produce sellers offering heaps of vegetables and a very wide range of different fruits. Also, a good selection of food stalls are available to choose from.

The only 'wet market' in Darwin, selling veggies, plants, massage, take away food and many more. There are permanent stalls such as Chinese grocery shop, Indian grocery shop and a halal butcher. Opens on Saturdays and Sundays. Saturdays has less stall and less crowd but enough if you only need to buy veggies. On Sundays it is very crowded. Parking is very hard, and be careful not to park on the verge as the council parking warden can fine you. Bring cash as most veggie sellers only accept cash.

Come here for exotic tropical fruits in late January, Dragon fruit, Mangoes, Sugar apples, Soursop, Guavas all sorts, Rambutans, breadfruit, sugar apples, longans and passionfruit to name a few. Compared to The other mob up the road at parap markets this one is the Fresh grown fruits and veg one. Come here on a Saturday but not around 1:15pm as there are less vendors and they are packing up. Note some vendors if not most are cash only.
