I've been to RaRa-Redfern several times over the years while visiting Sydney (my first 5-star review of around five years ago I deleted when I switched Google accounts). I'm happy to say that the ingredients, quality, and preparation has remained top notch over the years. I've also visited a ton of ramen shops in Sydney over the years (again, I'm sorry to say, I deleted many of those reviews). While I've enjoyed some very good ramen at those other establishments, RaRa remains my favorite: I've never had a bad experience in food, service, or experience. Interior space is clean and fun to be in--not a roadside/alley ramen vibe, but I would say it's very relaxing and joyful to be in during the afternoon, and quite eclectic in the evening. It's not large for seating, so I'm sure there are queues during peaks, but I typically go off-peak w/out any waiting problems. Music is quite excellent, too. I'm partial to the chili black garlic ramen (it has a kick for sure) but the other bowls I see people slurping around the shop look equally awesome.
This place and a place called "Oink Ramen" in Seattle, WA (USA) are the two best ramens I've ever had...bar none!
