I had the best Thai massage here! The masseuse was truly skilled and significantly better than any other place I’d been too. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel - room, grounds, pool were beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff were all great and service was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful too and included good coffee made to order and cold pressed fruit juices.

It is my first time to visit this hotel. My friend recommended me this place since this is her favorite hotel in Chiangmai. The breakfast took place opposite of the hotel with the river as our accompanion at outdoor area. The service is nice with various food selections. The room is nice. Everything is good. We use Spa service,I love it.

Not 5 star, but very close. Beautiful pool, onsen & spa. Breakfast buffet was good for westerners but not so much for locals. Room with pool access was amazing. Service exceptional and grounds well kept. Location in other side of waterway is close enough to everything but a few mins away from the business.

Took my mom there for a little Happy Birtherapy today and she came out upset that she was feeling worse than when she went in. I paid over 4000 baht for a 1 hour aromatherapy massage and a 1 hour facial. I didn't learn until we'd left that my mom didn't get a facial! When the therapist ended the session and my mom asked about the facial, she said the lady pressed 2 blue sponges around on her face for a few minutes and that was it. She described the massage as the worst she's ever had. I rescued the day by taking her to A-Va Massage in Old Town, and it's not the chi-chi experience, but who cares, so long as you feel amazing when it's over. And it was only 350 baht.

Stayed for 2 nights. The whole experience was amazing. The room is beautiful, facilities are under great care. The spa was super wonderful which became a highlight for my Chiang Mai trip. I tried foot massage and Thai massage. Both are great. Their sincerity is priceless.

I debated whether to give it a public ranking or not, just because my great praise for Rarin may help make it TOO popular. But I'll go ahead and enter my praise. It's fab. Beautiful old building as admin center. Beautiful new building for rooms. Gorgeous lounging & swimming pool with strong spray jets under which one may get a free back massage! Excellent rooms with good courtyard views and lighting. Superb staff. Free full breakfast every day in their excellent restaurant. Dinner there was quite good too. My wife didn't like that we constantly had to re-register for the wifi, but I think it's safer to do so. Not to leave the connection open fir days on end is good. My wife had to go back to Bangkok but I extended my Rarin stay for 3 more nite. It's great for walking everywhere. To the Night Market, Thaphae Gate, Chinese markets. Or turn left past the big bridge & head south for terrific Vietnam restaurant & then walk over Iron Bridge. Or discover non- tourist neighborhood along the big street that leads toward train station (eastward I think). Go right (north I think) to find massage ( just at the pedestrian bridge -- they don't have a usual sign outside... the old guy was a master) and gift shops, & European style cafes, Thai style too. Tuktuks available. I'll rest my quill. But I could say more.
