This is an exclusive hotel bar featuring a collection of rare spirits, exceptional champagnes and wines.... that truly nails a refined old-world-style, with its warm, comfortable and cozy atmosphere and outstanding service! 👍😊👍 I really enjoyed the place and the red wine, a Californian Pinot Noir (Kistler) available by the glass, was tops! 👍😍👍

Excellent fancy old school bar with wines by the glass that are worth tasting. It also has excellent collection of whiskies etc. Located near Saint Patrick’s cathedral in the Palace Hotel. One of the best places for an after work drink with clients or colleagues.

What an amazing place. You go there for an experience of a luxurious lounge in an old English style, which they deliver and then some. The atmosphere is a calming and sophisticated with nice tone of Smooth Jazz in the background. Whiskey selection is good with some unique brands you wouldn't find in other pubs. I enjoyed my visit and I will definitely go back on my next trip to New York. Highly recommended.

I have to say I was more than pleasantly surprised when I happened upon this wine/whiskey bar. It is my type of place with classical decor which places you in Gilded Age New York. Wonderfully aristocratic rooms which add to the experience, but it doesn't end there. Perhaps the best part of this bar is their menu. I've never in my life seen on any menu a 1945 Mouton Rothschild, which is what is known as a unicorn wine it is that rare and sought after. Never thought I'd ever see that particular wine grace any menu. The rest of their wine list is also pretty much amazing with everything from old vintage LaTours to Lafites, to Petrus, all of which do cost a pretty penny, so this watering hole is not for those with modest means. They also have a stellar whiskey and cognac list, which is most impressive to say the least. One truly rare bottle, the MaCallan 60 yr, Lailique is almost impossible to find today anywhere, but Rarities does boast a bottle in their epic collection. If you are a wine or whiskey or cognac snob then you will love this place and I highly recommend stopping in for at least a glimpse of their extensive wine/whiskey/cognac list and perhaps a nightcap.

Place of very rare and unique drinks with a very knowledgeable staff.

Truly a hidden gem in midtown. It's a sipping lounge so don't expect mixed drinks. Think wines by the glass, champagnes, tequilas and whiskey tastings. Beautiful ambience and top notch service.

Top notch all around. Now you do not need to be a member. If in the city and want to try something different, this is the place.
