What an amazing welcome we had at the Rashleigh Arms, all the staff were great from the housekeepers to Jessica and Andy. The hotel is well located for exploring the area, and the restaurant in the hotel serves amazing food for when you return after a busy day. The rooms are so clean and supplied with all you can need including not only a kettle but a smart coffee machine. I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel in the future and would highly recommend it to friends and family Caryl and Rhys Thomas

We had a room on the top floor with a lovely view over the harbour. Bed was big & comfy. There was 2 chairs which was great but not a lot of room for open cases. We enjoyed brekky but would have liked healthier options for the continental choice, for example Greek yoghurt, berries & natural muesli. The car park was close which was good. We loved exploring Charlestown from this lovely apartment.

Rashleigh Arms Hotel||St Austell||Friendly and comfortable stay||I recently stayed at the Rashleigh Arms and had a lovely experience overall. From the outset the staff were welcoming, and very helpful. It was the second time I had stayed there so I knew what to expect.||My room was clean and well-kept, exactly what I expected. I had a great night’s sleep with no disturbances at all.||The only downside was that the TV in the room wasn’t connected, so I wasn’t able to use it.||I would definitely recommend the Rashleigh Arms Hotel.

Stayed here recently on our trip down to Cornwall. This was a perfect stay with and amazing room that was great value compared with some of the places nearby. Housekeeping was spot on with great toiletries and a coffee pod machine in the room. On the day we didn't need the room cleaning they left a basket with fresh towels, coffee pods and bottles of water. We only had the included breakfast on the last day which was great, especially the hogs pudding. We will definitely he staying here again of we come down to Cornwall again.

Most disappointed when we visited the hotel earlier this week. Had booked a table for lunch. My daughter and I ordered a ciabbata with Monterrey Jack cheese , watercress and chutney.. We were presented with chunk of a baguette, with. cheese pieces and a scraping of chutney.. No watercress or salad garnish. The breadain had been spread not with butter but a vile tasting ....possibly very cheap margarine. We asked for mayonnaise and were given a squezy bottle of a cheap mayonnaise. The quality of the food was very poor......certainly not value for money and not a typical demonstration of Cornish hospitality. Devon and Cornwall are very full of visitors and it's wonderful to welcome them to our lovely counties but please do not destroy our reputation by offering poor quality hospitality and charging high prices.

Came for Sunday lunch having had many lovely meals here before. Service was incredibly slow. We each had a Sunday roast and the portions were very small for the price - one slice of beef per person. No green vegetables either. No member of staff checked on our meal, or asked how the food was when collecting our plates by which time it was too late anyway. It’s a shame as we have had plenty of lovely times here before but today has put us off returning.

We had our first meal at the Rushleigh Arms in Charlestown to meet up with friends, and it did not disappoint. From start to finish, everything was excellent the food was absolutely outstanding, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The wine selection was superb, with something to complement every dish. The choice of mains was great, offering a well-balanced mix of classic favourites and more refined options. We were also very happy with the spot where we were seated comfortable, relaxed, and perfect for catching up with friends. The only slight negative was that it’s a little on the higher end cost-wise, but the quality and experience made it well worth it. All in all, a fantastic first visit, and we’ll definitely be returning

Cannot fault the service, prices and range. Staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The pub inside was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought and detail to it. Outside.. wow! We were there on a sunny day and it was beautiful, the view is fantastic with plenty of outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend!
