Raspberry Fool

We were initially apprehensive with the menu but don't hold that against them as the meals were pretty good! We tried the Meat Loaf Toastie and a Cheesy Leek and Egg on Toast. The coffee was a little watery but okay. The Chai Latte was full of flavour.

Friendly staff not most relaxed atmosphere but ok, only one big table for groups inside food is tasty and coffee had good flavour .

Fast friendly service. Excellent coffee. A reasonably small space but well laid out and it had a nice atmosphere. Some outdoor seating was also available. I had a bacon and egg dish for lunch which arrived pretty quickly. It was well presented and was cooked perfectly for me. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Cafe.

Pies were delicious and well priced - we ended up splitting a third one! Coffee is excellent as well, and we had a really pleasant interaction with the lady working. So friendly! Will definitely be back.

Raspberry Fool was just a cafe. They did pretty standard dishes (and the eggs I got were over $20, which for Hobart is silly pricing), with no real standout elements. Good food, but not memorable for me.

The baked creamy eggs was delicious and different from what I usually choose to have for breakie. The coffee was good and everyone was nice. Will go again next time I'm in Hobart.

A last minute change in our Sunday morning plans saw us call Chantelle @ Raspberry Fool for a gluten free breakfast booking. With an hours notice they set aside our table with an easy friendly nature. Coffee was strong and flavoursome, chai latte was well received and my son's hot chocolate may have him buzzing for hours ;) The fungophile was sated with mushrooms on toast (served with fetta and greens), my lady's omlette, I am confidently assured, was more of a nom-lette, the mushroom soup for our guest filled the mouth with flavour and the belly with goodness and my big breakfast? Let's just say that the cooking staff need to all wear "Kiss the Cook" aprons as I could easily have done so. Superb. I can strongly recommend Raspberry Fool for your next breakfast, morning tea, lunch or whatever.

Spoilt for choice, REAL food, interesting combinations, gluten free very well catered for, great sized servings, FRIENDLY staff and well priced... our GO TO brekky spot! Did I mention Campos coffee? Great Campos coffee.

Now that I've found Raspberry Fool's baked eggs, I think I may have found my Hobart Breakfast. That's a big call, but I'm willing to commit to it. Too early? Okay, so I've only been there once. But I spent an almost whimsical morning curled up at the window counter looking out over the street, drinking Campos coffee and smiling at passers-by. I also met the most adorable elderly couple who made me miss my grandparents. The service was absolutely charming, too. Table service if you're dining in, with free parking (for the first 1.5hrs) only a couple of hundred metres away.

Friendly (if somewhat forgetful) staff and just across the road from the library plus near central parking station. A small and intimate cafe where they make everything they sell on the premises.

Small size restaurant, but excellent service and breakfast quality. Perfect coffee too, and I'm picky.

Walked up & down streets to find a place for breakfast & this was a pearler!!! Small and quirky but delicious large meals & great coffee... highly recommended both the baked eggs options! Winner!

The food is all made on site, including a beetroot relish that has me craving it more than is natural. There is a good variety of food to dine in or take away in a range of prices. Coffee is great, and the staff are EXCELLENT - friendly and personable without being blerghy.
