The place is as lovely as a budget place can ever get! It has a sense of atmosphere, has a lovely lounge, full service kitchen, washer with dryer, a garden, and best of all, views that are a destination in itself. The beds are soft and comfy. Suzanne at the reception is extremely helpful and accommodating. Service is top notch. If you are considering a stay in these parts, look no further!

I could not recommend this hostel enough. It’s a beautiful old stone building, very clean inside, and the location! Off the main highway so it’s very quiet and the views out of every window are absolutely stunning. So much incredible hiking around without the Skye crowds. 30 minute walk from nearest transit.

Rooms are great plenty of space and clean The addition of sockets and charger points is most welcomed too. The lounge is great for relaxing at the end of the day and the kitchen facilities allowed us to have a Burns supper for around 30 hungry divers!!! The location is great for diving Loch Duich and sightseeing

Stopped in here as our first bed on the CWT, the beds where incredibly fluffy, the showers were warm and the free tea tasted beautiful (not to mention the ciders). ||The lady working here was lovely. They also agreed to hold a food parcel for us, which was fantastic!||Although would say the food was slightly overpriced for what it was, but we were so hungry it really hit the spot.

Can there be a more beautifully situated hostel anywhere in the UK? A lovely spot. Very well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining room and comfortable beds perfect for a kip after a hill day. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for our meet of 30 Hill friends. Fab rooms with lots of space. Great comfortable communal spaces and kitchen. Suzy, our warden was supportive and helpful throughout. Not our first visit and won't be our last.

The hostel is comfy and clean and the kitchens are well equipped. I love this place. If I could move to the Highlands tomorrow I would, especially here. It's so calm and peaceful, fantastic views over the loch. Love this area. You can often see the porpoise in the water. It's pitch black outside at night, so much so, you have a job to see your hand in front of your face, but you can hear the porpoise breathing as they break the surface of the water. This is the heaven I want to go to when I'm gone, that's if there is one.

I stayed here for a night with my husband after last having been to this hostel in the late 80's. |The hostel is in a great location and has a really nice common room. The kitchen is also quite good and handy, since there is not much nearby for eating out. The warden was really welcoming and we both enjoyed our stay.|We went for a walk to a broch at the end of the street, which I can recommend. Not only is the broch in quite a good condition, but you also get a nice view of Eilean Donan Castle and some seals, if you are lucky.
