Rathsallagh Country House

Attended a family wedding. Lovely greeting to all the guests by the owner, despite the extreme weather conditions. Room was very spacious and comfortable. However, the bathroom wallpaper was overlooked during cleaning as a bird (I hope) left its mark on the wallpaper. I imagine it’s one of the hazards of that room. Wedding dinner was okay, however huge delays between courses and even though information was passed on re dietary requirements, the waiter was not aware of this. They were looked after but it was very fragmented. The house itself is fabulous and offers so much to anyone staying that little bit longer. Very advisable to prepare for your wedding there as there are a few nice surprises especially for the men along the way. Most of the staff were so attentive and hard working, that was and is much appreciated. Thank you! Best of luck for the coming season and New Year!

Rooms were a bit dated and some had wallpaper coming off the walls in places, few bathrooms still had carpet on the floors. Small corrodors throughout the accommodation although the hotel itself is very old. It looks like a good option for a wedding although it wasn't the aesthetic we were looking for. Fantastic location as it's well out of the way. If the rooms had a revamp it would be a fantastic place.

Attended a wedding here on Dec 7th. From the minute we came in the drive until we left the next day it was a pure 10/10 experience. The staff were always on top of their game. The food was exceptional so compliments to the chef and all his staff. The room we had was lovely also. Great place and can't recommend it highly enough.

Rathsallagh House is simply magical. It is warm and welcoming, full of charm and character with all its nooks and crannies and hidden little gems. Its warm fires, comfortable couches, charming bar, the list is endless. It is the house that keeps on giving with its twists and turns and secret gardens. It's setting is so beautiful with all the trees and greenery even in the rain but it is it's people that is its heart. Each and every staff member are just so wonderful, from the receptionist to the wedding co-ordination team, the bar staff to each and every server. They were polite, friendly and engaging, nothing was to much for them.|We had the most perfect 2 days for our wedding and there isn't one thing that that we would change. All of our guests loved their say. They haven't stopped raving about the spectacular rooms and the delicious food. If you are considering a wedding here, do it, stay here, it is fabulous in every way.

I had the pleasure of photogarphing Ellen & Paul's wedding at Rathsallagh House - What an experience from start to finish. These guys really know how to run a good show from start to finish! Every direction you turn there are opportunities for photographs! I can't wait to work here again soon!

Went to a wedding at Rathsallagh last weekend. Absolutely everything was top class. Food service location.|Staff werre so helpful and accommodating. Food at the wedding reception was superb but the piece de resistance was the breakfast buffet the next morning, scotch quails eggs, brie and pumpkin quiche and stuffed tomatoes, never mind the ham on the bone.

We cannot express our gratitude for everything that Rathsallagh has done for us and giving us the best day of our entire lives. It exceeded any expectations either of us had and that is truly down to all the team at Rathsallagh. ||The staff at this venue are exceptional! Joe was a pleasure to deal with. All staff were incredible - from Rose at reception, Amy, Catherine, Olivia and Tara from the wedding team and Dylan who was there 24/7 on the day to make sure everything was perfect. Big thanks to all the chefs for the incredible food and the bar staff for their great service. I am probably forgetting to mention other names but all the staff were truly incredible! ||We are still receiving comments from our friends and family on how the venue in all aspects was amazing! ||Thanks again to all the staff at Rathsallagh!

Well what can we say a beautiful venue, amazing food and the best wedding team and staff you can ask for.|They had everything perfect and what ever you needed they were there. We cannot thank Rathsallagh enough for making our wedding so amazing. Such a beautiful place to get married our guests haven't stopped talking about it.
