I am not easy to please at all. This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever ate at. Our server was knowledgeable and did such an amazing job at describing the plates. We had the Brie appetizer to start, the Arctic Char and Ribeye for our entrees. They brought out a nice birthday dessert at the end. They also make their own delicious lollipops. If you’re looking for a delicious upscale restaurant, this is a must in Kelowna! Thank you for making our dining experience one to remember!

A hidden gem downtown Kelowna! My fiance and I went for our second anniversary and we were completely blown away We were there for about 15 minutes and already talking about coming back. I had steak and she had salmon burger and both were amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked and both plates had delicious crispy veggies. They had tasty mocktails and the service was absolutely perfect. Our server asked if we were there for an occasion, we told her yes our anniversary. After dinner was done we had no room for dessert so we declined the dessert menu. Short thereafter she came out with a wonderful little dessert with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate. Fantastic! Fully recommend!!

Google
My wife and I come here to celebrate our anniversary each year and it never disappoints. The service is extremely wonderful, attentive, that is supported by a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Will always return to celebrate and enjoy the delicious food that always exceeds expectations each time we visit. Thank you for making our anniversary so much more special!

Incredible cuisine and outstanding service await you here. Our server's infectious smile elevated the dining experience, making it truly memorable. The talented mixologist behind the bar delighted in sharing their exceptional knowledge.

This place lives up to all the hype. This restraunt was recommended by a colleague for my one year wedding anniversary. The food was spectacular. I got their halibut, which is a seasonal dish, and their crab cappuccino to start. My wife got the brisket and chuck burger, as well as the aged focaccia. All the food was absolutely amazing. The only thing that wasn't up to the standard of everything else was that I had mentioned several times it was our 1 year wedding anniversary, and no one had congratulated me or my wife. A 'happy anniversary' from the server would have sufficed. Not that it changes it from a 4 to star, but the little things go a long way. I'd recommend this for a fancy meal. Keep in mind what I ordered, + 2 drinks, was 180 dollars.

Had a bite to eat here. Service was exceptional and staff was friendly. Really enjoyed my meal and ambiance of establishment. Food was delicious and portions were inline with prices. Staff was knowledgeable and knew the products. Cocktails were great. Totally worth stopping in for the experience.

Google
We came here for valentines dinner and we had an awesome time! Great atmosphere and services. Everyone was very friendly! The food was really good too. We enjoyed all of it. The steaks were very tender and grilled to perfection. Gnocchi was good as a starter but I think I wouldn’t order it as main. The bread was also a good starter. Overall, we had a good time and will definitely come back!

Google
First time here. Definitely, a more laid back environment than i expected. We tried several dishes - everything had great presentation. The flavouring was a bit hit and miss for me. The sides that came with each entree are often better than the main. Overall 4/5 for the taste of the food. Friendly service.

Yelp
We had the most amazing evening, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing, rare strip loin was incredible. An excellent end to our honeymoon in Canada. The best meal, by a long shot, that we had in BC How do I give 6 stars?

James K.

Yelp
My friend and I sat at the bar and we had a fabulous and delicious time. We got the crab cappuccino, the carpaccio, and the focaccia. The crab soup, though not big, was warming and so full of crab flavor in the broth. I'm biased for soup and loved this dish. I also liked the focaccia especially with the white bean miso spread. The carpaccio was meaty even though thin, going great with a red. The main we got was scrumptious too. The most memorable two for me though was the bread and soup. If I were local I'd love to try more things.

Yelp
Wayyyyyy too overpriced !!! Pretty "Yuppie" ... Not a friendly inviting atmosphere !!! Not impressed.... heard good things But coming from the lower mainland.... they gotta get off their "high horse".... !!! Just be nice !!

Yelp
Had a GREAT time at RauDZ last night! Great service from our server Sam who could not have been more attentive or charming. The food and wine were delicious, beautifully presented and well priced. The restaurant has a wonderful, eclectic vibe. If you are in Kelowna, give it a go!

Yelp
Worth every penny. What more can I say besides letting the pictures speak for themselves ?? RauDZ does an outstanding job serving fresh local ingredients ranging from okanagan lake white fish to in-season cherries in the region. They elevate it with amazing flavour combinations, bright colours, interesting textures & impeccable plating. For the mid-high range prices ~$30 for entreés, it's seriously worth it !! We came TWICE during our few days in Kelowna. We had the OAT CRUSTED ARTIC CHAR and seasonal GRILLED HALIBUT CHEEKS. Both fish dishes were absolutely delicious and had so many components to the dish to dip & enjoy together. Trying their RauDZ SIGNATURE DESSERT was super fun & deliciously chocolate (despite me not even a big fan of chocolate!). Their seasonal CHERRY TART was sooo interesting, it had a crisp glossy granola sheet sandwiching lavender cream and poached cherries! Lastly, did you really have an okanagan trip without trying a lavender cocktail? They also give homemade lollies with the bill with the flavour changing daily! Kelowna truly has a absolute gem of a restaurant here. I would come back again and again :)

Yelp
Traveled over to Kelowna for a quick trip and delicious eats! Luckily, I was able to secure a table for dinner with short notice at a local favorite, @raudz. The first thing that caught my eye was their Crab cappuccino ($14), which is a roasted Dungeness crab soup with milk broth. I loved the rich crab flavor, complimented by the creaminess but not overwhelming. Isn't the little beet crab the cutest?? On a side note, they missed the chance to call it a crabuccino Next, their beautifully plated Beef Carpaccio ($17). The colors are so vibrant and although I felt the pickled mushrooms wasn't my thing, it created a nice contrast with the aioli and beef. We also got BC Mussels ($24) to share. There was plentiful house made chorizo and peas with the broth, however I prefer a creamier broth. Mussels were a bit on the small side, but fresh. Not a memorable dish. Onto the mains! I got the Lamb ($33), which has two cuts: lamb chop and tenderloin. The lamb chop was cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned well. The tenderloin, on the other hand, a bit too much salt that I ended up scraping off the salt and it was much better. I liked the barley risotto, different but pleasantly not as filing as regular risotto. Presentation-wise, this was quite appealing to the eye, loved all that cheese on top with the colorful pop of flowers! The other girls ordered the 7oz Peppercorn Flatiron steak ($33). Steak itself was cooked to desired donenes, duck fat layered potatoes was a bit overwhelming, didn't taste much duck flavor in it. I definitely appreciated their attention to detail for every dish, and plating matched the season well. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and our server was so friendly and helpful. I love how they had homemade blueberry lollipops that came with our bill, they were fragrant and not overly sweet.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here at Raudz. We've been meaning to try this place for a long time and haven't had a chance till now. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the staff from front end to our servers were great. Our server was Chris who was an absolute delight. The food and drinks were amazing too. We've recently moved from Vancouver and we are huge foodies we food restaurants in Kelowna get us very excited. Every dish we had was so delicious, we will definitely be coming back.

Janet C.

Yelp
Excellent food and very attentive service! Our server Charlotte was amazing and very personable. We will be back! Thank you.

Yelp
Stopped by in town for a quick wine tasting trip with the bf and gave this place a try. We called before we arrived and they had room to squeeze the 2 of us in. They asked us to sanitize before heading to our table which is good. Our sever was friendly as well. The food. Was delicious. I read about the crab cappuccino and had to try it. And loved it. Full of complex flavours and just a delight to drink. Even when it's 33 degrees outside. I also had half order of the parm gnocchi with roasted tomatoes. So. Good! We shared the mussels to start and my bf has the duck bolognese and he loved it too. We were stuffed heading out of there. Definitely coming back!

Ethan S.

Yelp
The food was very overpriced for the quality, I had the poutine and the RJB. The sandwich was very good but all of the sides were poorly cooked and bland, unsalted boiled potatoes, unseasoned boiled vegetables. Way overpriced at $40 for a meal worth maybe $30. 2/10 overall would not recommend. You are better off spending your money at a chain restaurant.

Richard B.

Yelp
Venison carpaccio w/ shaved apples, candied walnuts and mustard dressing. Oat crusted Arctic char W/spinach potato and bacon and brown maple butter (returned. Really nasty and it's one of my favorite fishes) cheese burger ( blue cheese and grilled mushrooms Great service and good restaurant. The chefs pallate leans towards sweet which is opposite mine

David C.

Yelp
Raudz is a nice little fine dining restaurant downtown in Kelowna. I won't get into extreme detail and bore you with the little things. It's a really nice place, well appointed and a little fancy. It's a nice date night or celebratory dinner type of place. I had the Caesar salad, which was a meal sized salad. Absolutely delicious. I've paid $6 more for a much less quality salad. All fresh ingredients and the dressing was fantastic. Then had the Arctic Char. Not much of a fish guy but holy cow was that Char amazing. Breaded with some oat type of breading and served with these delicious vegetables. Had to stop short of licking the plate. Amazing food, great service, nice place. You can't go wrong. Good job Raudz!

Natasha P.

Yelp
One word sums it up: AMAZING! Amazing food, amazing service and overall amazing experience. We ordered the asparagus (butter on side), which was good. The fish and chips (upgrade the chips to poutine) but the one thing that was disappointing was that the fish was served with the tartar sauce on top so the batter was soggy. But, the flavour was incredible! We also ended up getting the featured starter which was a tuna salad. The tuna was perfectly cooked (seared but tasted like it was semi smoked as well). Our server was attentive and our order was perfect. I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Linda D.

Yelp
The food is outstanding and the service even better. Small quaint cozy ambiance with the best desserts in town

Jasmin G.

Yelp
I would describe Raudz as a hip, trendy spot. We did not have a reservation which we were advised by the hostess they were completely booked for the night at 7pm. Luckily, the two of us scored the two last bar spots. To start, we ordered the starter salad that was very refreshing! We shared the RJB sandwich, it arrived medium-rare just as we had asked and was delicious. Didn't care too much for the duck fat mayo with potatoes, was sort of bland. Service was good in the beginning but of course, being at the bar it got very busy and we were left unattended for quite sometime. There was never any offer of water at any point. I would love to come back to Raudz, this time with a reservation and sit in the dining area.

Debbie N.

Yelp
We couldn't get in right away down the street and found this gem a short walk away! service was impeccable, my husband had 2 Caesar's, the first came with an olive which he hates and the second (without asking) came without the olive. Charlotte was attentive and gracious, as were all the staff. Meal was fantastic, charcuterie board was well explained at presentation and sooo good! We were looking for local, we ended up with local excellence. Bravo!

Miss R.

Yelp
Amazing food wow! They even bake the fries, no nasty canola oil French fries. The homemade lollipops at the end are so freaking good!

Arjun B.

Yelp
We only went their for a few drinks and got the scallops and chicken poutine! The fresh scallops paired with the veggies were perfect! They were really fresh and juicy but the the poutine lacked any characteristics that stood out to me. Overall, great wine selection and good finger food!

Morgan R.

Yelp
This is a locavore establishment with some really good food and drinks. We were surprised at how vibrant the food scene in Kelowna is, and this is the epitome of what's happening. The food is original and imaginative without veering into the precious. They have a mix of standard items (steaks, ribs, burgers, poutine) and more exotic fare (venison carpaccio, crab cappuccino, risotto with beet root). They also have a good wine selection, a variety of house cocktails, along with standard mixed drinks, ciders and beers. We only went once in our weekend in Kelowna, but I look forward to going back. In our party of eight, we had eight different entrées, a variety of appetizers, drinks and desserts, and everyone like all the things they tried. It can get crowded, which can make for a wait (I think they take some reservations, but only for larger parties) - so do plan to take a while to get a table.

Kiren H.

Yelp
I ordered the wine pairing meal set and it is by far the MOST DELICIOUSLY put together set. We absolutely loved every dish and wine that was paired with the meal. We had the Best Service delivered to us by a very informative and professional Bar Tender, Chris. He made our visit extremely pleasant and entertaining. Most Delicious dinner ever indeed! How could we have NOT known about this place?! We didn't know that we had to make Reservations and we came right on time as we were were first in line. Didn't bother us that we sat at the bar. The food and service did the trick. Thank you to Chris and to the stupendous Chef whom we didn't get to meet and deliver our heartfelt compliments. We will most definitely be back again for more!

Yelp
This was our second time at this restaurant and sorry but have to post a negative review. The restaurant is still a great place to go and we will give it a third chance but tonight they struck out. We had the same quiet waitress as 5 months back and she still did not have the full menu written down to go over specials. Last visit you overlooked this tonight it just compounded events more in wrong direction. First we choose a selection of Cabernet/melrlot blend off the menu and were advised "sorry we have waiting in shipment" Ok. I select a different Merlot and order a glass the spouse chooses another and is informed sorry "that wine is also awaiting shipment". Sorry but this restaurant prides itself on local fair and all wines on menu are from B.C. and not having wine "waiting shipment" from you back yard is unacceptable but what is more it should be informed upfront before you order that not all wine selections are available and or offer alternatives, for example pull another selection of Cabernet or Merlot from your cellar until the wine shipment comes in. When asked what was available the waitress then just babies you a steely eye stare. The spouse chooses the Pinot Noir and gets "sorry but I think we are out of that as well but then quickly says I think we have one bottle left". Whether trying to be sarcastic or not not a great answer. We ordered a gnocchi appetizer which was very good and the spouse once again had the duck breast which was 5 out of 5 . Unfortunately I ordered the stuffed pork tenderloin and it was the equivalent of a leftover slice of dinner that was microwaved for the plate. The side salad and starch were great. The only reason they score 2 out of 5 tonight is the duck breast was exceptional and the couple across the way had a very nice steak dish and you could tell the beef was done right. Hope they take this in stride and try to improve they will start to lose customers

Bec G.

Yelp
A great spot for a nice meal. More upscale than a lot of the restaurants in town. Nice ambience and great staff. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very efficient. The food was delicious. It's on the pricier side but the portions are large and the quality of food is high. We ordered appetisers, main meals and dessert. The gnocchi and the lamb were our favourite dishes of the night.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Never disappoint. A fav in Kelowna for sure. Food is always on point. Everything from platting to flavor is wonderfully done. This meal we ordered their mixed greens to start and I had the fish of the day which was pan seared Ling cod and my husband had their signature burger. Both our meals were cooked to perfection. We were savoring every bite. I'm shocked they made the Ling cod so outstanding, like nothing I've tasted before. Def worth a try when you are visiting Kelowna! Service was also excellent! Didn't take any photos cuz the lighting wasn't great!

Orph O.

Yelp
Super delicious food! Wonderful atmosphere. In fact, I would have for sure given them a 4 out of 5 stars but the food was lukewarm at best. Too bad because, like I said, it truly was delicious. And, in fact, we are going to return soon because everything was almost perfect. Just the temperature of the food. My husband had a steak and it was cooked perfectly and I had the polenta with prawns and there was no shortage of prawns. So tasty! Seasoned perfectly. So, when food tastes this good, one can overlook it not being warm once. Apparently, they have other restaurants in the lineup so we have full intentions of visiting all of them, including an Italian one at a winery in Oliver. Can't wait! But, alas, I just checked the reviews for Terrafina and the most recent don't appear to be very positive so we may reconsider. Someone did say they'd probably stick to pizza for next time so perhaps we'll drive down for pizza sometime. I highly recommend Raudz, though. I just hope the food comes to the table hot next time.

Jessica G.

Yelp
Planning out our trip to Kelowna, Raudz was the restaurant I saw most recommended throughout the internet. As it was suggested, we made a reservation. When we got there, the hostess was expecting us and we were immediately sat down. Our waiter came over and the service we received was pretty disappointing after that. He offered us the drink menu, and when we informed him we would be passing on booze at that moment he seemed to immediately become disheartened by that. Alright, so the food! We ordered the parmesan gnocchi which was amazing, paired with the cherry tomatoes, it was divine. After the plate was cleared, it took about thirty minutes for our entrees to be ordered, which was a little annoying, to be honest. So my partner got the fish and chips with a side of poutine, and I got the Linguini of wild Boar. Honestly, both of these dishes were uninspired. The breading on the fish n' chips was bland, the poutine was better at the downtown drunk food poutine place two blocks away, and there was SO much meat in my pasta dish, it seemed more like a pile of boar with a noodle or two. Now the pasta issue may be a positive for someone else, getting all that boar may tickle your fancy, but I ordered pasta and wanted more of a balance. Anywho, back to the waiter dude. So when he did manage to stop by and check in on us he only ever paid attention to me, and would physically turn away from my boyfriend. My partner and I felt uncomfortable with the way he acted towards us, like I get flirting for tips but maybe don't do try and flirt with a girl who is obviously there with her partner. It was just so weird and odd. Overall, this place was alright? I regret going here. If I could send a message to past Jessica about her trip to Kelowna, it would be to skip this place and try out anywhere else.

Lupe R.

Yelp
I am using the last 9% of my phone battery to tell you that every single thing we ate and drank was phenomenal. The staff was so welcoming and I can't wait to come back before i head back to LA. Please do yourself the favor of eating here at least once. I forgot to take a picture of my other food because it was too yummy and I ate it before I could.

Annie L.

Yelp
I came here with 3 of my friends and we had made a reservation for 730pm. We were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly initially and took our drinks and food order fairly quick. As we had already know what we wanted. We had ordered appetizers (BC mussels, J$ focaccia and the gnocchi). All three appetizers were AMAZING. While one of my friends did take a bit longer to finish her appetizer. This is when things went downhill. The waitress was now ignoring us. Went over to the table across from us at least 3 times and did not come over at all. When I asked that we had being waiting for a while for our main courses. This was now almost 9pm (we had being here for 1.5 hours already). Literally 3 min later our main courses came. All of our meals were cold and bland. We ordered (lamb x2, spaghettini and ravioli) My friends and I were so hungry that we just proceeded to eat our meals. I had to send my food back as the lamb was BLAND and COLD. It seemed like the food was sitting out for a long time. When I had explained to our waitress that we had waited 1.5 hours. She made a comment and said it was only 20 minutes. We did not appreciate the comment as there was no communication from the waitress at all. If the kitchen was backed up or something else was going on. Just let your customers know instead of talking back to them. I would not come back here as for the prices they are charging I would be expecting to be top quality. There are many resteraunts around the area that offer better customer service and food.

Ricki-marie P.

Yelp
I was told by some friends to give this place a try while I was on vacation. I am really happy I did. I ordered the parmesan gnocchi, it was delicious. They asked if I wanted chicken with it, say yes!! The chicken they bring is soooo delicious, but it's a very large portion. I wasn't able to eat this entire dish. I think it's fit for two. The bartenders are sociable and professional. They know how to make really great cocktails. All together was happy with the time and money spent at this establishment.

Naomi D.

Yelp
The waiter was cheerful, efficient, and knowledgeable. The food came promptly. We started with the beef carpaccio and the focaccia bread, and both were fabulous. I ordered the rib eye, and it was great, but the dull knives made it challenging to cut. My husband had the halibut off the 20-year celebration menu, and my son had the steak burger. They finished with the salted caramel ice cream and toffee sponge and the ice cream sandwich. Overall the meal was good. The experience and service were most rememberable.

Brian W.

Yelp
We enjoyed the Raudz New Years Eve Take Out 2021. This was our second annual. Highly recommend this option if offered in 2022. Great menu, all one could comfortably eat, easy to keep and warm up when ready. Wine pairings offered but we did our own thing. Thanks to Rod and Audrey.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
We visited Raudz on a Friday night. When we called to make a reservation, we were advised that they were fully booked, but they usually keep a couple tables for early walk-ins. Luckily we were running on Ontario time, so an early dinner worked for us! The service at Raudz was impeccable! All staff were very friendly and professional. I forget our servers name, but he was excellent. Very attentive and made us feel like we were the only guests in a fully packed restaurant! The food was impressive. Locally sourced dishes with lovely presentation. We ordered the mushrooms on toast and the vegetable harvest salad to start. Both were very good, but the mushrooms on toast were fantastic! The ingredients blended together so well. I had the Codfathers Selection which was the best fish of the day from the local seafood market. I'm still dreaming about it! Others in our group had the RJB and the baked fish and chips. They said they were good, but did not match up to the Codfathers Selection. I'd love to return to Raudz next time we are visiting Kelowna.

Alan K.

Yelp
#Raudz #bestinKelowna took the girlfriend to Raudz for dinner. Started with #crabcappucino with the #octopusceviche then split the #ButchersCut finally with the dessert. 10/10

Michael J.

Yelp
Too much buck for too little bang. Not sure what everyone raves about. Great place if you want to feel like you're rich, while drinking away the fact that you're not.

Christopher K.

Yelp
This is by far the best restaurant in Kelowna's downtown area. For a few years now Raudz has been serving up its farm to table offerings - and for years we have been coming back. On this occasion, we started with a couple of cocktails made with fresh fruit - in this case I think it was Blackberries. As an appetizer, we ordered the Caesar's Salad and then the main's (my SO and I decided to share) consisted of the Heritage Angus New York Steak, complemented with an extra side Chicken Breast and Side Vegetables. The food was excellent, and the service was top notch. The only downfall to this place is that they don't take reservations (and the only reason I don't give them 5 stars). I actually make it a point to never visit restaurants that don't take resos, as I am very time centric. How can a restaurant really respect its clientele if they don't respect their time? I find it ostentatious when a restaurant believes they are so good that people will wait up to 2 hours just to eat there. In Raudz case, people do... so I guess this practice will continue for them! I only patron Raudz when I walk in and see that I can either have a table within a few minutes, or can sit at the bar. Otherwise, I am going elsewhere... I likely would eat here weekly when I am in Kelowna if it were not for that fact... As you can tell, this is a major pet peeve of mine (reminiscent of the VJ's days of glory in Vancouver).

Mikaela M.

Yelp
Good food and good Vibes! My boyfriend and I came here right at opening on a Saturday evening. Glad we did because the restaurant was packed and the wait list had grown to an hour, 30 minutes after the doors opened. I got the asparagus, crab cuppacino, and the small charcuterie board with some of the FIZZical therapy wine. All were great except for the crab cuppacino. It was good, but there is WAY too much hype on yelp about it. I was expecting something out of this world.... My boyfriend chose the burger and subbed poutine for the fries. He was extremely happy with both. The vibes are nice and professional. We will return when in Kelowna!

Yorvis G.

Yelp
Great dinner, nice cocktails, good service. A great option in Kelowna for a fine dinner

Kiefer C.

Yelp
I tried Raudz after being recommended to go multiple times by multiple people. I went with 2 others, and together we ordered the artisanal bread platter, the duck entree, the cod entree, and the parmesan gnocchi. And for desert we had a creme brulee, a fruit tarte, and of course chocolate peanutbutter crumble. Everything was fantastic, down to the garnish. The duck was especially delicious, I would definitely recommend it to anyone remotely intrested. I am 100% coming back to work my way through the menu.

Tanya C.

Yelp
Small and cozy, but really can't beat the food and drinks. Favorites, crab cappuccino, venison carpaccio and wild boar meatball. If you like mescal, get garden fire

Isabelle R.

Yelp
There is no other restaurant in Kelowna with the same vibe as Raudz. None. And it's good. It's got that big city out on the town dining and wining warm comfort, where you feel like a gourmet eater and drinker. I'm from Montreal and this feeling is what I miss the most while being in Kelowna, and Raudz delivered that. Thank you. Although we ordered (delicious) wine, the bartender looked like he knew exactly what he was doing with the drinks and the list was very sophisticated. We sat at the bar and got excellent service, as a place like this should offer. We started with the charcuterie plate which was plentiful and pretty. Not sure if the cured meats were house made or not. The risotto was melty and delectable. We ordered the two recommended dishes, their "specialties". The oat-encrusted Arctic char was good and creative and also tasty but not excellent, it lacked the layering of flavours and came out a little on the bland side. The second recommendation was the RBJ, an over-the-top filet mignon/crab burger of sorts. Beautifully plated. But, these incredibly rich ingredients all dumped on a plate just take away the actual taste of the meal rather than offering one delicious piece of food. I was so disappointed to see the whole topped with a slice of prosciutto. Prosciutto? Come on! It stole ALL the flavour out of the steak and the crab. What a waste. The food was high quality, the service was excellent and the wine was great. That's why the 4 stars. But the menu could use some reworking. Maybe seasonal changes rather than staple items? We will be back to try more. Thank you!

David H.

Yelp
Just had a fantastic meal at Raudz. Glad to be put at the communal table without a reservation! Lots of walk-ins were turned away as the restaurant was fully booked. The charcuterie board was one of the best we ever had, so as the crab cappuccino, which was an absolute delicious soup! For mains, my son had the grilled salmon, I had the gnocchi with prawns, which I loved! The burned leak sauce was heavenly made. My wife had the cod fathers, which in my mind was okay only. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars! Overall, very delicious meal to finish off our trip to the Okanagan valley! Always try to make reservations days if not weeks in advance if you want to be seated! Highly recommended! The Forgotten Hill Pinot Gris from Naramata was delicious as well.

Lady G.

Yelp
We had a delicious meal recently. Our table enjoyed the Fresh Cod Fish and Chips, Handmade Parmesan Gnocchi with Charred Tomato Sauce , the Super Fino Risotto. We had 3 teas and no room for dessert. Next time I'll save room! I was intrigued by the Cardamom/ Peach Cobbler. Mmm.

Adrien R.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Worth the trip just for the crab cappuccino! Great atmosphere. Bring an appetite!

A M.

Yelp
This is what a group dinner sounded like, ... Mmmm, Oh My God!, oh ! We shared a Gnocchi, and ordered the Risotto ( with a side of chicken ), The butcher's cut ( a ribeye that is meant to be shared by 2 ... very generous size ) , and the RJB ( how much time do you have to read about the steak burger that melts in your mouth ? ) The food was phenomenal, and the service completed the experience. friendly, knowledgeable, and very curious. I also LOVED the fact that they only had local wines on their menu. Raudz is highly recommended !

Yelp
Best everything of all time EVER! Take your date here and you're a hero :) so consistently amazing at food and drink of all kinds. Farm to table imaginative dishes with such fresh local ingredients. I recommend this to everyone who will listen I might need an endorsement deal. These guys are my benchmark for every other restaurant I visit in the world! RAUDZ!!!

Yelp
First impressions were excellent starting with a great warm welcome from the Hostess. And things stayed 5 star for the whole evening! We were sat at the bar, and quickly moved to a table roughly 30 mins in at 8:30pm.. Don't let the name fool you! The way the name of the restaurant spells their name, you might think of a few ways to say it. RauDZ= Rowdy's? Rod's?? It is actually a blend of the co-owners' names and is pronounced 'Rods'. If you are looking for an amazing group of people that care about the quality of food that is made, the presentation of your meal, all while doing so in a casual yet fun way while also taking care of you, look no further. These guys are professionals at what they do, and enjoy doing it! It has been a while since having a restaurant experience like this, and was truly appreciated!

Yelp
Attached is the un answered letter that was written to the owner after a very very disappointing visit to his restaurant Hello Rod Butters I am a loyal customer who has been coming to Fresco/Raudz for over 15 years. Furthermore, I constantly recommend it to family, friends, and both local and visiting clients. In all those years I have never had such horrific, disrespectful, and rude treatment. Before I was present manager Wes Hunter was directly rude to my invited guests. When I joined them shortly afterwards and heard what had happened I assured them that this was not the usual behavior of Raudz staff and that I was certain it was a one-off. Unfortunately, this was not the case.   It began with a simple mix up with the reservation. The birthday girl neglected to count herself and requested a table for 5 instead of 6 when making the reservation. Hoping to fix the problem 2 of our party arrived over an hour early to speak to staff about the mistake. Manager Wes Hunter was very rude in telling them that we could absolutely not be accommodated. The pair remained and sampling cocktails and hoping that we could find a solution once the entire party was together. I arrived 20 minutes before the reservation and found out what was going on. I requested to speak to the manager about the situation and once again Wes Hunter was incredibly rude in his manner and refused to even attempt to accommodate us, even as I suggested multiple scenarios to seat all 6 of us. At this point the restaurant was not even close to capacity so I pressed the issue until he agreed that we could sit at the community table. Our meal proceeded through appetizers and into the main course. At this point the birthday girl opened a card from a now deceased relative, this card requested that everyone present sing her happy birthday which we started to do. The other patrons at the community table joined us in singing at respectful volume. Half way through this very short song manager Wes Hunter interrupted us and claimed that we were being too noisy and the he had received a complaint. Doing that was completely unnecessary, rude, and very upsetting for the birthday girl who no longer wanted to finish her meal and celebration at Raudz. It was such an obvious uncomfortable situation that other patrons felt the need to tell us that they had not complained and wished my friend a happy birthday. I tried to pull wes aside and speak with him regarding his rude interruption and explain the intent of a happy birthday song was not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guest but purely to honour a birthday wish from her relative, he didn't want to hear what I had to say and he was once again very short and put his hand up in my face and walked away.   Raudz is renowned for fantastic service, an opinion that I always agreed with, until now. I had hoped that the rumours of numerous bad experiences with Wes Hunter were exaggerated, but I now know that not to be true. Moving forward I will no longer frequent Raudz nor suggest it to my fellow foodies. To say that I am incredibly disappointed in an understatement.

Yelp
We came to the Okanagan area on wine business. At every winery, when we asked about restaurants, RauDZ was named as a must-go. There was a lot of hype. And that often doesn't bode well. But, wow! We had a delightful experience. We opted to have two staggered entrees. We began w/ the oatmeal crusted Arctic char. It was cooked perfectly. And it came w/ an array of delicious, cooked just right fresh baby vegetables. Then we shared the tenderloin/crab/bacon sandwich. Wow, again! Really good. The staff was friendly & accommodating, efficient & professional. So yes, a lot of hype. And worth it all. So happy that we were able to enjoy this outstanding restaurant while we were in town.

Yelp
I was very excited to visit this restaurant and to my surprise I was very disappointed. First of all service: these guys don't know what their job is. Plenty of staff members but for some reason it took 15 min to get water and another 10 min to take orders. Our starters arrived an hour after entering the restaurant. My pork cheeks were cooked well but the bitter apricots just didn't work for me. There.was some shredded carrots as well that added absolutely no value to the dish. My friend went for scallops (2 scallops) what an odd number. My main lamb was cooked wonderfully. The problem was that it was served with too many ingredients that none of them made any sense. Fried lettuce, zucchini, cauliflower, carrots, and feta cheese????? The average chef is 20 years old so they lack experience. Shame as for $190 I would expect way better food than that.

Yelp
Great dinner experience. Our waitress was so nice. The our favorites was shrimp gnocchi and the Butcher cut. The chocolate caramel crunch was good. The venison carpaccio was ok. Next time will order the burger everyone who was eating it was very happy and talking great about it. Really recommend this restaurant.
