Highlights

This riverside café boasts expertly crafted coffee and creative breakfasts, but the food and service might need a little more love to match the brew.

Lovely cafe, however the orders were getting mixed up pretty often. When the food finally came out was pretty bad. The bacon egg toasty was tough and not great. The banana smoothie was mostly blended ice.

1 hour wait for this 20$ avo on untoasted bread - tiny portion with terrible service. All the food came out separately, 20min apart. Coffee was good, the sweet treats were nice. But don’t bother - make cold bread with unseasoned avocado yourself.

Food great, service needs improvement. Be aware this isn't a cheap place. Breakfast burger 18.50 Ruben Sandwich 16.50 Breakfast for 4 costs you easily 100$ Food is very yummy. Getting a coffee takes forever.

Google
Great little cafe in Denmark. Coffee was very nice, hard to find a coffee that good in regional WA. Pastrami sandwich was very tasty, Açai bowl was ok, the açai was a little icy and would have been nice with some fresh fruit. Menu is very limited and would love to see it extended as the location is perfect along the river.

Great coffee and not overpriced. Nice space for digital nomads and also outside seating area.

Avo smash is $20 when gluten free. Literally just avo on toast with a couple small dishes of sambal and tomato chutney. Toast was GF bread straight out the supermarket white bread from the freezer and was soggy rather than toasted. Staff refused to add on a poached egg for extra $. “Set” menu has half the items crossed off permanently. Asked if they had gone vegan or something and was told “yeah something like that.” Then I spotted beef curry on the menu. Staff seem want to be anywhere but here and I can’t blame them. Have heard “Dreams” by Fleetwood 3 times in the last 15 minutes. Don’t know what’s happened here, feel like I’ve entered an alternate reality where service is a dirty word! Used to come here a lot a few years ago but probably won’t be back. Hope they improve things when Mrs Jones opens back up!

I wish i could say this was a positive experience, but it wasn't. I don't think i could ever justify paying $16.50 for a bowl of dry packet muesli with a small jug of milk. It sounded amazing on the menu... the coffee was pretty good tho. Friendly staff, i appreciated that, but the food game is really not up to the standard of other establishments for a similar price range.

Tasty coffee made by friendly, welcoming and capable staff. I'd happily return here for my espresso fix!

Yelp
Coffee was fine but when it came to where are our bagels it was a no show. We didn't check if we had been charged for them but they kept us waiting while they looked up their records which they could not find. It was then up to us to prove with a bank statement we had paid for them....and we had paid for one. So we had to wait some more time whilst they made up two bagels. They gave us the second one for free with apology. Just feel like we wasted a morning while they got their act together. The bagels turned out to be $14 each and way more expensive than what they were worth. Won't be back.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. I enjoyed the healthy options, though I did wish they had mushrooms because that's usually my favourite part of brekkie. I had chimmichurri poached eggs. Latte was good. Apparently the tea was the perfect temperature (according to my friend) and the vegan cheesecake was as expected. Yay. Maybe we'll try again. Line was SO long at 8am on a Sunday morning but EVERYBODY cleared out by 9am. So weird. I recommend a later brunch for a chill out an avoid the crowds.

Yelp
Raven's is a great spot for a healthy and inventive breakfast or lunch. For breakfast I had a lovely pumpkin and greens frittata to takeaway with a nice bottle of some lemon and ginger kombucha. I came on another occasion for lunch and they have amazing and tasty food options for vegans, vegetarians, or even celiacs including living pizza, curries, and a rawsome burger. Never fear - they also have a few dishes to cater to the omnivores too - I had the chilled Thai chicken soba noodle salad which was delicious and filling with delicate citrus flavours and just a tough of spice. People I were with tried the live pad thai which was a big bowl of fresh and the chicken and pumpkin curry was nice (though of course not as authentic or tasty as what you can get at a real curry house!) They have a great selection of takeaway sushis and pastries as well, so it's a great spot for sitting down or taking away. Lovely coffee with single origin beans for sale by the kilo. The owner is really passionate about the beans and even gave my partner an extra double espresso just so he could taste the difference between the two beans he was serving.

Yelp
This place ! Wow The food is so fresh and so delicious ! So many healthy options to choose from. The sun was out so we sat on the verandah overlooking the park.. it was so nice to see the lake from where we were. The food itself was surprisingly great! The Buckie was yummy, so crunchy , creamy and absolutely healthy! Green eggs, was amazing! Poached eggs on top of a bed of kale, oak choy, broccoli and quinoa, sweet potato cakes.. it was delicious ! My partner said it wasn't really green, but it all went down the same way! The coffee I had , mocha was overpowered by the chocolate flavour so there wasn't a balance of coffee and chocolate , but the green juice was yummy! Who would have thought adding rockmelon in there would work? The decor was lovely, staff wasn't attentive but that's ok - we're in Denmark All in all it's a great place for breakky :)

Yelp
Great little find in the "middle of nowhere"! Everything is organic, the food is good and the staff was friendly! I had the smoothie bowl (with strawberry smoothie) and it looked gorgeous! (Was equally good!) The only reason I don't give it a 5 stars is that service was a tad slow. Other than that, definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Looked like the place to be for a foodie breakfast and coffee but left bitterly disappointed. That wasn't a pun - coffee was bitter AF. Food was okay but given the asking price I was expecting something more... Anything more. Really under-delivered.

Yelp
We were down on easter weekend and went through this place 2-3 times. The place is next to the river and across from the easter fair. There was a fair amount of wait but that was to be expected with the unusually high load on the town. The place was packed! They had 3-4 baristas working non-stop trying to get everybodies coffee orders out without losing quality. Once people ordered they got a buzzer so you could get some space and not have to wait 25 minutes in front of the machine. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on the wait because of the unusually high load and the effort they made servicing it. They have a long display of cold items and pastries. Most of them are raw. Our group of 6 demolished the raw carrot cake and the dark chocolate sour cherry raw balls. On Monday, I drove 40 minutes the wrong way home from Peaceful Bay to go to Ravens for brunch. It was much quieter and I enjoyed the homemade kimchi and a huge raw burger (125 mm tall!) with really good textures and tastes. It filled me up and I'm a voracious eater. My girlfriend got the taste of thai plate which was good but my burger was a clear winner in that battle. They have a selection of on-site roasted coffee beans and raw/health food tools and ingredients along the wall for sale. It's a nice location with the river park right next door to the cafe and its easily accessed from the free parking lots in the city. My girlfriend and myself will be back next time we are in the area.

Yelp
Great for a healthy meal or snack. $3.50 coffee is why there is a line in the mornings. Quick and friendly service, lots of parking. Great views of the main park from the seating outside.

Yelp
Yum a great breaskfast and lunch place in the heart of Denmark. I had the super bowl and my husband had the chilli eggs. I was a little envious of his because it looked amazing, it was scrambled eggs with shallots, spring onion, chilli and ginger. Paired with additional bacon he said it was amazing. My super bowl was delicious, only con was that it was a chocolate smoothie, which is delicious, but after half the bowl it did get a bit sickly but the rest of the granola and fruits/nuts were so yum and very filling!

Yelp
We came here this morning, one of many times in the past few years and left even more disappointed than our last visit to Denmark a month ago, this could possibly be our last visit. There were dishes piled up along the communal table close to the entrance and dishes along the sink and along the counter too - both which u can see from the main part of the store where you order, this is a terrible look to give tourists who will report back on their experiences on social media. There were 4 staff on and all but the one at the coffee machine seemed to be actually interested in customer satisfaction, even then there was nothing she could do as she was trying to make a lot of coffees. One staff looked much younger than the age of employment in Australia. Staff seemed lost and inefficient, one was cooking in the kitchen, one was trying to do some dishes, one doing coffee and I'm not sure on the other... Taking occasional orders - what a mess! Customers were cleaning tables and moving dishes to the huge communal table already filled with dirty dishes. A couple were told to move out of the way by a staff member, he said he had been waiting 35 minutes for a coffee I had been waiting over 15 minutes so I asked how long mine would be. If it was going to be that long I would've left. Today's experience as well as last month's bad coffee makes me think it's time to try one of the other cafes in Denmark. I'm pretty sure, many other hungry and caffeine deprived customers think the same too!

Yelp
Can't go past this place for great healthy food and good coffee. We stumbled upon this place when we first arrived in town, and have been back every day since. The menu of food includes raw, organic and vegetarian meals. Either dine in or takeaway. I can highly recommend the Chicken Soba noodles, but it's better to dine-in because they re-dress it so it is nice and moist. The take-away version was not as juicy. They make a good coffee and the staff are friendly too. Pricing is mid-range, it's not as cheap as a local sandwich bar, and not as expensive as a restaurant. Looking at $15 for a salad lunch bowl (or the chicken noodles I described above). One more tip - beware of the juices...they may be super healthy, but you might need to hold your nose to get them down! Overall top spot and highly recommended.

Yelp
The chicken laksa was one on the best laksa I have tried and I have tried a few even though it was a different spin on the idea. Service was friendly and prompt of a Sunday afternoon. My wife had the pad Thai and gave that positive reviews as well. Sizes were generous. I would recommend this place for all.

Yelp
UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!! On the current website it states breakfast is served ALL DAY. A group of 7 of us were debating on where we could still get breakfast at noon and we had gotten coffee here the day precious and knew they served breakfast. So we checked their website and were stoked to see they were still serving breakfast. So we made the 30min trip into town to specially go here. Once at the counter we were told that the website is wrong and they don't do breakfast all day. Trying to orchestrate 7 people to make a plan of going somewhere else was not going to happen so we ended up eating here. Chicken or curry options off the lunch menu or sushi out of a glass case are their only options after 11:30. I got the salmon roll, it wasn't until I bit into it did I have the rude awakening that it was smoked salmon, not regular. When I looked back at the case to see how I had made this mistake I saw that the roll I had picked was the only one with no label or description of what was inside. Over all I was extremely disappointed.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and cakes etc in the cabinet. The lunch menu is also great with a combination of healthy options and yummy comfort food for the cold days in the south west! It can be very busy during popular tourist weekends and can take a long time for takeaway coffee to be ready so be careful if you're in a rush! Great selection of muslies etc to purchase and enjoy at home :)

Yelp
Stopped here on a recent visit to Denmark. So many healthy options and all treats/milks etc are made in-house. Loved it! I had "Eggs Benny" which was pretty much eggs benedict except sitting on a roasted slice of sweet potato instead of toast, and with a lemon saffron sauce instead of hollandaise and served with about 6 slices of bacon!!. Absolutely delicious, and so filling. Great breakfast for me as I was hitting the road back to Perth and this kept me going for the drive! My partner had porridge, I think it was buckwheat and cinnamon with apples and strawberries....I hope that's right...either way it was also delicious and super healthy. I had a flat white with cashew milk also and that was nice. Never had cashew milk before, usually just almond that I use but this was good too. I assume that was also the milk used in the porridge but can't confirm... We grabbed a couple healthy treats for the road, a salted caramel slice and a raw chocolate and peanut butter tart....both were delicious again even 5-6 hours later when we finally got back to Perth. Will visit next (and every!!) time I go to Denmark. The lunch menu looked awesome too, I had a look but was there at 9am so couldn't partake. Also noticed they make their own sushi and such as well. All in all this place is top notch, couldn't fault anything. We were happy to get a seat outside in the sunshine too as it was a smashing morning in Denmark.

Yelp
Fabulous coffee and food. Healthy and delicious choices. Nice decor. Great coffee cups as well. Check the inventive chandeliers too.
